Glorious meal!! Just glorious! I came in with some time to kill before my flight. I randomly picked a location somewhat close to the airport and definitely struck gold. Street parking was easy and ample. Service was attentive, prompt, and friendly. And the food was FANTASTIC! I ordered the union city with a salad. And a bellini! OHHHH MAH DAYS! It also made me forget about my low-carb diet and pick the pork belly plate with grits, fried egg, and fried prosciutto. I felt my eyes double in size when Brad brought out my food - it all looked picture perfect and tasted divine. I was in Nob Hill and could not resist wanting to stop by and order my favorite meal. Passing by I saw folks standing outside waiting for a table so I called to see how my luck would run. I was told that there was an hour and a half wait time but that they could seat one, me, within 10 minutes as a another solo diner was finishing up. I was in luck! They have an inside and outside area . The outside is covered as well. The staff is amazing very sweet, swift and accommodating ( i went by myself and asked for a quiet space to do homework). After reading the reviews, I was excited to stop by for brunch once I got to town. The menu is small, so the kitchen staff can focus solely on making great food. This was a misnomer. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good for the price paid. I ordered a sandwich with a side salad. The sandwich was dry when I asked for mayonnaise to go on it. The staff member did not know what I was asking for and brought me an aïoli sauce instead, which was good, but it wasn't what I was looking for. The side salad was spring greens and three slivers of pickled onion, and there was barely any dressing. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the weather. The old family-style picnic tables fit into the place's aesthetics. Unfortunately, the planks of the table were uneven, so as I was trying to cut my sandwich and salad greens, the plate shook back and forth because I could not find an even place on the table. If I were to return to Albuquerque, this restaurant would not make the list of must go to. read more

I visited The Farmacy for another weekday brunch this week and had the pork belly grit bowl - cheddar cheese green chile grits, three slices of pork belly, an over-easy egg, and sourdough toast - and it was magnificent. The pork belly was so good, and the spicy flavor in the grits were so bomb, but why was the grits so runny? Also no one asked if I wanted the egg super runny, I like them cooked over medium, I only like the yolk runny not the white The breakfast burrito was great, I got it with Christmas. The green chili is basically just chopped chile so I'm glad I got it with both so I could taste some sauce as well. The "crispy potatoes" were stale tasting. In town for a conference and after a quick search for a breakfast spot, we decided on the Farmacy. It has a parking lot in the back, so parking was a breeze. The downside (and it's no fault of the Farmacy) is that there is significant road work going on, so trying to get to the Farmacy was a serious chore. But it was worth it. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The Farmacy is a smaller eatery, but not crowded, which was great. Our server was friendly and took our order and got our food out quickly. I ordered the State Fair waffle with a side of potatoes. The waffle was delicious. The outside was crispy and the inside was soft. The potatoes were delicious and seasoned to perfection. The cost was comparable to local restaurants, so it wasn't a big surprise. Definitely delicious. And I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in Albuquerque. read more

Key points: parking was easy, there's outdoor seating for when it gets warmer, food came out quickly, staff was friendly, and decor/ vibe is cute. I got the Daisy Duke waffle for $7 (topped with blueberries, a lemon compote, and mascarpone cheese), which was crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside with the right blend of flavor. And my friend got the Slayer with potatoes and a side salad for $10.75 (which she had had previously and loved), so most of the prices were pretty reasonable. Ok, ok, so I've been here a few times and I would say it definitely depends on what day and time you go, they are always busy and the inside is very intimate we shall say, however, they do have a large patio with umbrellas to accommodate more guests. The coffee is always on point, I recommend something from the bar such as a latte or americano and they can do hot or iced. The food however, a little hit or miss. I usually order the biscuits and gravy "lumberjack style" and 9/10 it is perfect. Just the last time, my biscuits were crunchy so I didn't eat much of it, but hey, they are always poppin' so I'm not too mad at it! There's a lovely tree growing out that partially covers up the sign so your first time there you may have trouble finding it. But be persistent, it's worth it. I met a friend for lunch, we got there around 1 o'clock, and it was still crowded! It looks to me like there's a lot of very loyal clientele here. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The decor is relaxed. The noise level is pleasant, allowing for a conversation. The menu is focused on comfort foods. We each had the grilled cheese with house potatoes. There's a soft spot in my heart for well-made potato chips. These are slightly less than the 16th of an inch and thickness, and cooked two perfect perfection. My only slight comment was that the food's overall were slightly more salty than I prefer. Still this is a great dining experience. Comfort food, and a good location. Cozy cafe with brunch favorites! The Bree berry waffle was a genius idea but needs a few adjustments. The Bree would have been perfect for the waffle but needed to be melted on top to really enjoy or at least have the rind removed. Also needed a bit more berries/compote so I didn't feel like I needed to ration them to enjoy the whole waffle. Also my first time coming here, we ended up waiting over an hour for our food, they took off a discount for this but it only ended up being a couple of dollars off for a terribly long wait. we are pretty sure they forgot to put our order in when we first ordered. What a nice place to come for a brunch in Nob hill. Service was good as coming in I was greeted, and told I would be on a wait list. At 9:30 there was a 30 min wait. It's not a big place, but that told me that it must be good if there's a wait. They have indoor, outdoor or first available seating. Being that it was cold they did have heaters for the outdoor seating which was nice. I bet it's great outside during the warmer weather. Waitress was good, attentive and helpful with ordering. Now, to the food. I got the biscuits and gravy with green Chile, cheese, bacon and egg on top. Delicious! Coffee was hot and good too! I had not visited Farmacy since before COVID since I'm rarely in the area when they are open. I stopped in for brunch/lunch recently and I'm so glad that we did! Since it's been a bit chilly, inside was packed and there was a wait. However, the patio had spots. And while it was a little chilly, it wasn't bad. Service was fantastic as I remembered and everything was delicious. I ordered the Croque Maiden and hubby had the Lenny (Lemmy?). It was really hard to decide what to get and both were fantastic. I was really tempted to try the State Fair waffle or the Old Fashioned Waffle. We're definitely going to have to make an effort to make it down here to visit more often than every 5 years. The server was average and didn't have the most warm or attentive behavior. It took over an hour to get our food once we ordered. The staff didn't seem overly apologetic although it seemed pretty clear they forgot about us. My meal was excellent (once I finally got it)! We have been many times to the Farmacy and realized I had not reviewed this place. This quite unassuming place in Nob Hill is always busy and for good reasons. Service is friendly, attentive, and fast. We've had nice conversations with the servers, making us feel like more than costumers every time. During warm days, the big patio area works well as it is mostly shaded. The inside is tight but comfortable. And the food; the food is consistently good every time we go. This last time we got the southern benedict and it was great. The dish was full of sweet ham. The gravy was smooth and not overpowering the green chile was a nice addition but could have used a little more heat. Oh, how I've longed for some good biscuits and gravy! If you're looking for a place where you can have some good vegetarian biscuits and gravy, this is about as good as it gets in the city. This place fills quickly, and one thing that struck the three of us is that we did not have to shout to hear each other... At The Farmacy, they've wisely placed sound-absorbing panels on the ceiling, which made for a much more pleasant dining experience than the rather noisy brunch spots we've tried. Pork belly grits bowl was as good as the photos make it look, and our friend loved the Benedict special (cleverly uses crispy grit cakes instead of English muffins). Not sure husband would reorder the French Toast Monte Cristo, though. He was scraping off the mustard with his knife, and I think he would've been happier with a more traditional plate of plain French toast. Went to try out The Farmacy this morning for breakfast. We sat outside on the patio. We got greeted right away and were met right away by our waitress. She took our drink order and we had time to look over the menu. I did notice right away that they discourage any modifications to the dishes. I have some allergies and that was a real turn off. We ordered the breakfast poutine and the Duke City biscuit and gravy and made it a lumberjack by adding an egg and bacon. We were also told no eggs except for the liquid scrambled after we ordered. The food came out and at first glance it looked just ok. I was hoping that the flavor was better than it looked. I was wrong. It was mediocre at best. The eggs reminded me of a cheap hotel breakfast, the French fries were soggy (yes I know they were covered in gravy). The biscuit was was average. The gravy tasted good. The coffee however was not good quality, kinda reminded me of gas station coffee. We will not be back.
