Bad thing is there is usually always a wait. Good thing is the employees and management are always very helpful. Food so far has been pretty good but expect to be an adjustment from your Norman New Mexican cuisine. Place has patio and outdoor seating and a sit down bar so plenty of seating options. Overall my family likes the place so that works for me. Try it out and judge for yourself. Plenty of options.

Super delicious breakfast with options for everyone! I love their ambiance, it usually gets poppin on the weekends but that's just a testament to their awesome food! Hosts and servers are both super attentive, and I love their outdoor seating area. I am super partial to their eggs benny- and they constantly refill their coffee! I have yet to try their mimosa flight, but trust me... I will!

Went for brunch with friends and had a fantastic meal, I had the omelette with bacon, a Bloody Mary and coffee. The omelette was cheesy and delicious! The service was fast and friendly, our waitresses were attentive and constantly had refills on hand for us. It was a great experience and we will definitely add it to our go-tos for brunch spots!

The worst part about Brekki Brekki is finding parking. Between construction and popularity there is not a lot of parking to choose from. That being said, service is great, food is good. Portion sizes are nice. The Cubano sandwich is a bit greasy. Overall the food was good. Acoustics are not as good. Lots of chatter roams the room. Memphis was our server and she was great. Personable and attentive. Prices are reasonable. Try this place! Open until 3pm

Had a great first experience at Brekki Brekki. Went with a couple friends and their two kids (2 and 1). Went Friday morning at 9 and get seated right way, kiddos were given crayons and a coloring page. Ordered lots of food. I got heuvos rancheros with avocado. Friends got the brisket Benedict, chilaquiles and the strawberry cheesecake pancakes. Everything was delicious, big portions and served hot. The chilaquiles was especially huge. I also tried the pancakes, not normally a fan of cheese cake things, but they were really good. The decor is a lot, but fun for the kids to point out the flowers and decorations. They also brew their own beer!

Wonderfully festive Labor Day crowd. Ramona -our server- worked crazy hard to serve our table outside under the canopy. The Strawberry crepe filled with fresh cream and fresh strawberries doused with fresh maple syrup made our Labor Day morning great ! Despite a large crowd service was quick and efficient One of the most varied menus in Albuquerque and the east side location is close to hiking on La Luz trail ! Please try this fine, fine place!

Everything is decent here. I don't want to steer you away from going here because what I've had here is decent. There are just a few little details that make it feel the same as the little bit of dissatisfaction you feel when eating frozen yogurt instead of ice cream. Today I had the Traditional Buttermilk Crepe Pancakes and they are as light and fluffy as you would hope if you're a crepe lover. Though they were soaked, bathing in maple syrup which made them much sweeter than I initially anticipated. So maybe they can use less syrup? On other visits I've had a few of their hashes, fried chicken, veggie, and the protein one. They've been all right, too, but the protein one and the fried chicken started to taste too salty after several bites. I think a couple of things they can do to improve these is to reduce the amount of salt and to give you a smaller portion of the hash and then add two sides to the plate, like fruit, and something else. Hopefully Brekki Brekki will consider these ideas and improve these dishes.

I think I was expecting more flavor from a place with so much decorative stuff everywhere and the reviews. The place is cute. The waiting area outside in the courtyard was an excellent shaded place to wait. And to be fair- they got our party of 4 seated within 15 minutes on a Sunday. The lost me on my order however. I got the protein hash and the brisket for my protein. Brisket had no flavor. The red chili also, the green had a small bite. I asked for Tabasco to get any real flavor though. I was also a tad confused because I thought mine came with 3 eggs for the menu but I got 2 eggs with my meal (I can't verify since the online menu is different than the printed menu). But I left feeling hungry and let down. The service was great though. Very kind server. Undecided if I'll go again

Went on a Tuesday at 11am, Got the Tofu Hash with a side of fries and sour dough and Xmas chili(Red Chili was possibly the best I've ever had in NM), waffles and a Pork Belly Hash with an English muffin and green sauce. Great winter drink menu 2 Winterberry Rosemary Mules and the Apple and Ash Bourbon Sour. All very tasty and great for Brunch. Lots of servers and very attentive for all tables. Full bar with TVs and craft beer. Seated immediately and the food came out fast!

Excellent breakfast, very busy on a Saturday but was seated within a minute. Visiting from Seattle. Limited parking, so plan to walk around the building.

Cute spot, we went right after it opened. Food was good, great drink selection, kind of retro diner feel. Super cute decor. Server was very inattentive and we had difficulty ordering. The manager or owner came out and spoke to our table because one of my friends had a hair in their drink. Also, service was slow and it wasn't busy but they had just opened so working out all the kinks. I have since been back with another group of friends for a birthday celebration and the service was great. No issues and delicious food. Definitely worth a try!

It's most definitely a busy place but it's worth the wait. Good food, great atmosphere, the customer service is impeccable. The prices are really good for the quality of the product.

Well, second time here and we tried the Brisket Benedict.... Brisket was good but, there was barely a drizzle on hollandaise. I asked for a side of the extra sauce. It tasted like they just scrambled some eggs and put it under the heat lamp. It was not even a hollandaise. There was absolutely no flavor so we did not eat it. I had mentioned it to the waiter and he said, "I don't know that's how they make it" he wasn't sure what it even was. Some disappointment in the first time and then the second time as well. The drinks are good and service was not terrible. Just does need some improvement. It's unfortunate because I really like the atmosphere but it didn't match up to the "hype".

The area looks old and poor, but near the restaurant, we didn't see anything sketchy. When we were leaving, we did see some homeless people at the main intersection, but we didn't see anything we'd describe as sketchy. We did notice there is a mobile home park behind the restaurant, but there is a wall between the mobile home park and the restaurant parking lot. Even if there were police surrounding the mobile home park, we'd still venture inside to eat. The food is that good. We shared the cowboy breakfast burrito and the Santa Fe pancakes. Both were filling and ridiculously good. The Santa Fe pancakes made with blue corn, roasted piñons, green chili, and cheddar jack cheese were different than anything else we've ever had. I'll admit I didn't love my first bite or two, but the more I ate, the more I wanted. The pancakes are dry, but if you drizzle some syrup, it's the perfect match. The accompanying eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. The cowboy breakfast burrito is massive, filling, and worth every calorie. Even though we were stuffed, we had to get the peach with green chile turnover. We asked if the turnover is served warm and our waitress replied that she could warm it up for is. I'm not sure that it is normally served warm, but I highly recommend it. The turnover flaky, the glaze was silky once warmed up and the peach with green chile was unique and delicious. It's perfectly safe, but you want your wits about you as you come and go. Service is fantastically efficient, friendly, and thorough. There were many picnic tables to eat outside and it was a small building, so most people were eating outside. The Inside When I first walked in it felt nice, people were talking Luckily not too loud. Then I looked around for where I placed our order and I easily found it. *It was right in front* Ordering So then I ordered the item "Just buttermilk and cream", and then I asked for a side of syrup and bacon. And I got an orange juice for my drink. Then I walked down to the patio, it had lots of greenery. Which was nice because the patio wasn't so exposed, and it had some sort of glass which blocked out the sun which also was very nice. And they gave me my orange juice right when I ordered it which was different in a good way. The Drink So I found a table where I sat down and sipped my drink ,unfortunately the drink was a bit cooler than room temperature. But I wanted it to be colder than it was, however the plastic that they used was hard and secure which felt nice in my hands. And at the near end of my experience it was getting pulp in it which was not pleasant. The Service My food came out in about 4 - 8 minutes. The food And when it did come out it looked really good. It was a big belgium waffle which had tons of whipped cream and strawberry slices, and the bacon looked nice. My first bite was of the bacon, unfortunately it was a lot more chewy then I liked my bacon. And then I grabbed my fork and cut a piece of my waffle, dipped it in some syrup, and then I took a bite. It was AMAZING, it was sweet but not too sweet. The syrup with the softness of the waffle was so good, and the waffle was easy to cut. The VALUE So what I got with the item was a big belgian waffle, lots of whipped cream, and over 15 strawberry slices for $10. I would say it's worth it. And I am pretty sure that I've seen smaller waffles items for the same price at other restaurants. Conclusion Overall, It was a Really good experience. Good value, Great food, Great service, and an okay drink. I would go back to Waffletopia. My only Suggestions are :If you come expect a big portion and don't get the orange juice Which leads to my star ranking. 4.5 Stars

The blue corn is just a tinge sweet so was an interesting mix. The waffle is a decent size but is super filling and dense. I'll have to try some sweet waffles or some different waffle bases next time! That said there are lots of gluten free options as well, so if that's for you, then don't hesitate to come check it out you won't be disappointed. There is indoor and outdoor seating, though in general the place is small-ish and can get crowded during busy times. Parking is also a bit of an adventure, but so is anywhere in that area. The staff is super friendly as well. All in all a great experience and I will be back. I can't believe it took me so long to get here in the first place!
