We finally scored a parking spot this morning (all the mentions of poor parking are valid!) after two earlier attempts to try this restaurant. On entering, the restaurant is visually appealing and interior seating looks comfortable. It was also completely full so we opted for patio seating. The weather was beautiful and the patio covered so it was a perfect day for patio dining. You can bring your dog if dining outside, always a nice find. The patio furniture was not comfortable to us. The table had bars on all four sides at just below knee level that did not allow stretching out your legs. Chairs had no padding, not unexpected for patio furniture, but for such an excellent restaurant I'd like better. Our server, Jaz, was prompt, very friendly and checked on us often. Excellent service overall! We ordered a traditional eggs Benedict that comes with smashed potatoes and a pickled kale salad or slaw. The flavors were excellent, the hollandaise sauce seemed to be made fresh as it had a light fresh lemon flavor. The ham excellent as well. The eggs however were overcooked. They were served poached hard. The seasoning was good, but disappointing due to the over cooking. Jaz offered to have more eggs prepared for us, and on another day we might have had the time. The duty manager, Ray, also offered to have them prepared properly, so again, exceptional customer service! Bottom line, we will certainly be back (when we can find parking). It provides a more upscale experience than most of our normal breakfast spots at close to similar prices. read more

We came here from out of town on Memorial Day and waited maybe 15 minutes for a table with no reservation! We were able to order drinks at the bar and wait in the backyard of the restaurant until our table was ready. Absolutely loved the mimosa and espresso martini flights! Bottom line is the food is fine and service just ok. My daughter and I wanted to try something new. We heard great reviews but were disappointed today. I had a hash skillet with sausage and my daughter had the crab cake Benedict. The food was ok. The poached egg was over cooked and not runny. My skillet was fine but it was not hot. I could even touch the skillet. Our food was not hot. You can see the cheese melted then hardened from sitting. In addition the food was dry. My skillet came with an English muffin with no butter or jelly. I had to ask and they gave me 2 packets of strawberry jelly. I was disappointed they didn't offer or give me any choice. The service was just ok. They were quick to take our order and bring the food but didn't offer to refill our drinks or even water. Our first time here was awesome! The decor is super cute and modern, the waitstaff was all amazing and efficient. Everyone really enjoyed our food. You know those Airbnb's that have gone too far overboard in making their house into a cartoon Millennial fever dream on a budget? Now make it a restaurant. Like, there is actually lattice with plastic greenery placed across the entire ceiling. I feel like someone really really thought they were making it look classy, but got all the decorations out of a vending machine and it's a little overwhelming and claustrophobic for my taste, like cheap décor is closing in on all sides, dust clinging to every plastic surface. That said, I've eaten here twice and the service is always great, the place is always packed, and I haven't had a single meal that isn't above decent. Had a great first experience at Brekki Brekki. Went with a couple friends and their two kids (2 and 1). Went Friday morning at 9 and get seated right way, kiddos were given crayons and a coloring page. Ordered lots of food. I got heuvos rancheros with avocado. Friends got the brisket Benedict, chilaquiles and the strawberry cheesecake pancakes. Everything was delicious, big portions and served hot. The chilaquiles was especially huge. I also tried the pancakes, not normally a fan of cheese cake things, but they were really good. The decor is a lot, but fun for the kids to point out the flowers and decorations. Memphis was like an uber. perfect got exactly what I wanted when I needed it. just the perfect amount of leaving me alone

Everything is decent here. I don't want to steer you away from going here because what I've had here is decent. There are just a few little details that make it feel the same as the little bit of dissatisfaction you feel when eating frozen yogurt instead of ice cream. Today I had the Traditional Buttermilk Crepe Pancakes and they are as light and fluffy as you would hope if you're a crepe lover. Though they were soaked, bathing in maple syrup which made them much sweeter than I initially anticipated. So maybe they can use less syrup? On other visits I've had a few of their hashes, fried chicken, veggie, and the protein one. They've been all right, too, but the protein one and the fried chicken started to taste too salty after several bites. I think a couple of things they can do to improve these is to reduce the amount of salt and to give you a smaller portion of the hash and then add two sides to the plate, like fruit, and something else. Hopefully Brekki Brekki will consider these ideas and improve these dishes. read more

I think I was expecting more flavor from a place with so much decorative stuff everywhere and the reviews. The place is cute. The waiting area outside in the courtyard was an excellent shaded place to wait. And to be fair- they got our party of 4 seated within 15 minutes on a Sunday. The lost me on my order however. I got the protein hash and the brisket for my protein. Brisket had no flavor. The red chili also, the green had a small bite. I asked for Tabasco to get any real flavor though. I was also a tad confused because I thought mine came with 3 eggs for the menu but I got 2 eggs with my meal (I can't verify since the online menu is different than the printed menu). Stopped in here recently on a friend's suggestion and it did not disappoint. As soon as I saw Chilaquiles on the menu, I was sold. Even though we came in near closing (sorry!) service was attentive and fast. They have a great beer, wine, and cocktail selection with twists on familiar favorites which was fun. The chilaquiles were amazing and everything I hoped they'd be. Prices were a bit on the higher side but the portions were generous- you won't leave here hungry! The atmosphere is cute, parking is a bit tricky, and there's a small patio if that's more your jam. Overall, will definitely be coming back here to check it out. Went on a Tuesday at 11am, Got the Tofu Hash with a side of fries and sour dough and Xmas chili(Red Chili was possibly the best I've ever had in NM), waffles and a Pork Belly Hash with an English muffin and green sauce. Great winter drink menu 2 Winterberry Rosemary Mules and the Apple and Ash Bourbon Sour. All very tasty and great for Brunch. Lots of servers and very attentive for all tables. The worst part about Brekki Brekki is finding parking. Between construction and popularity there is not a lot of parking to choose from. That being said, service is great, food is good. Portion sizes are nice. The Cubano sandwich is a bit greasy. Overall the food was good. Acoustics are not as good. Lots of chatter roams the room. Memphis was our server and she was great. Cute spot, we went right after it opened. Food was good, great drink selection, kind of retro diner feel. Super cute decor. Server was very inattentive and we had difficulty ordering. The manager or owner came out and spoke to our table because one of my friends had a hair in their drink. Also, service was slow and it wasn't busy but they had just opened so working out all the kinks. I have since been back with another group of friends for a birthday celebration and the service was great. No issues and delicious food. Definitely worth a try! read more

If I could figure out how to do it, this would be more of a 4 1/2 star review. We went here on Sunday, September 7 around 11 a.m. We were seated after about 30 minutes, which is to be expected. We were seated in the outdoor section, which had a DJ. It's not my thing, but we were there for our daughter's birthday and she likes that kind of thing. It would've been probably offputting if it was just my wife and I though. The hostess should've advised the environment outside I feel. The food was fantastic and given the number of patrons served promptly. I definitely go back, but I'd probably want to sit inside lol read more

Well, second time here and we tried the Brisket Benedict.... Brisket was good but, there was barely a drizzle on hollandaise. I asked for a side of the extra sauce. It tasted like they just scrambled some eggs and put it under the heat lamp. It was not even a hollandaise. There was absolutely no flavor so we did not eat it. I had mentioned it to the waiter and he said, "I don't know that's how they make it" he wasn't sure what it even was. Some disappointment in the first time and then the second time as well. Interesting place, this first Brekki Brekki - hopping like crazy when we arrived at 1045 on a Tuesday morning; we barely got a table inside (plenty of patio tables were available - and gradually filled) and the waitress told us that she thought it was slow. On a similar note, I was glad to find parking not too far away in their funky (drive slow, trust me) wrap-around-the-building lot. Entering, I was impressed by the energetic progressive vibe and the thoughtful if exceedingly cheery decor. However I was _unimpressed_ by the reek of waffle grease/smoke from the kitchen that was hanging in the air (a souvenir of our visit that is sticking with my clothing well into the afternoon - oh joy) or the overall noise level. I'm not sure they could pack more tables into the place - it was tight - and patrons' conversations were not all in "inside voices" (. . . but it should be noted that the ceiling had noise-dampening decor across it, so at least the place wasn't clattery). Beer and wine and locally distilled spirits available. The menu is pretty extensive and prices are - on the warm side for the area. I have to say that the food is pretty good (although not especially plentiful - the tiny ramiken of green chile that came with my wife's hash would have resulted in a snort of derision had I come with my frequent lunchtime sidekick who's been interested in visiting Brekki Brekki with me) and service was pretty good for the most part: we were addressed pretty quickly and checked on one time when our food eventually arrived (slow food delivery not a shocker - the place was pretty packed) but we were ignored after that (it was difficult to get the server's attention to get our waters refilled - we were both on empty for some time). To break Brekki Brekki down more clearly than my 3 out of 5 Yelp stars do: Food quality struck me as maybe a 7 out of 10. It was creative and some was quite good, but it was not mind-blowing. Food quantity struck me as 5 out of 10 - the bare minimum you'd expect for the price. Service struck me as 6 out of 10; we tipped a ten on our two breakfast plates (and I note the "Suggested Tip Amounts" run 18, 22 and 28%). Food pricing struck me as 4 out of 10 - my side of two eggs (I could tell the biscuit plate wasn't going to be enough without some protein supplement) cost $3; my chicken biscuits were $17 and my wife's veggie "hash" skillet was $13 (with that tiny quarter-cup of green chile sauce, LOL). Pricing is on the high end for what is delivered and for the area and overall experience. Parking is not great: 3 out of 10. The room is pretty nice, if crowded: 8 out of 10. Noise level is a little tough but not awful: 5/10. And air quality (that burnt grease stench that's still on my nice aloha shirt) is 2/10. Flag on the play, manager: fix your ventilation system, because there's no way the dining area should ever smell like that. It comes down to this: Brekki Brekki is an okay place, and it might be just where you want to be sometimes (especially if you don't mind smelling like a Belgian waffle all day). But there's no way I'm coming here with my regular joe lunchtime sidekicks. read more

It's a yes for me! Short on photos because thankfully I was having a wonderful time with my girls They all said they enjoyed their meals. Some with lower tolerance to heat said the red chilaquiles were a bit spicy. I had green chilaquiles, my tolerance to spice isn't too high and I felt it was a good balance. It was flavorful. I thought there was a bit too much chips and was searching for the black beans and cheese to balance all the chips. I got a side of the kids French toast, lol, and they were actually extremely delicious! I would happily order an adult size of that. Serving sizes were plentiful and food came out hot. I ordered an oat milk honey latte which was good. Not too sweet. I also got two bottles of champagne with two sides of orange juice and that ran me 80$. The mojito my friend ordered looked delicious and she said it was good. Service was GREAT. Our main server was so sweet, pleasant, and attentive. Despite it being a BUSY Saturday morning we were checked in on quite a bit and served quickly. My order came out wrong (allergy stuff) and I wasn't made to feel like an inconvenience, they right away fixed my order. When I went to the bar, the girl greeted me right away and helped me (I got a coffee while I waited). Very cute spot. They decorated for Valentines and it is very cutesy! You could dress up or go casual. A bit of a tight fit for how much business they get on the weekends. The bathroom was clean. Where we sat is to the right of the entrance and since it's in front of the entrance and busy in general, people waiting would crowd and it's just not a good feeling to have people right at your back. So a crowd control would be nice. After reading reviews, I went in with a plan to get there early to get a table for my group of 9. At 9am it was already PACKED, with a line! We waited 40 min exactly, our predicted wait time. Parking was TIGHT. I think management has taken in to account the critics and our time was very pleasant. I would definitely come back and recommend. If you're not a crowd person, and don't want to risk a bad experience, just skip the weekend. Or GET UP EARLY, like before 830! It's all good, food first overall. Different versions of food that were familiar with in a good way service was OK and the ambience.

Brekki Brekki is a wonderful place to eat. Make sure you get there super early or you WILL have a wait. There are around 20 tables and they do have a bar with 10 ish seats but it's an actual bar so kids can't sit there. There is nowhere to wait inside either so you just stand there in everyone's way. There is limited parking in front of the restaurant and when I asked the young hostess she did not have any suggestions for parking or anything else, unfortunately. The host/manager Jamie is a pretty cool cat that has been in the breakfast business for SEVERAL years. He is always pleasant. We loved the vibe of the place and the decor. The ceiling has leaf garden trellis attached so it looks like you're outside. I LOVE the light up rustic BREKKI sign. They have also decorated for Valentine's Day which was a bonus. I ordered the Traditional Benny which has seared ham and delicious hollandaise sauce with an English muffin on the bottom. The hollandaise was really tasty, and I wish there was more of it. However, I have made it from scratch before and it's not easy so I get using it sparingly. I wasn't a huge fan of the "pickled kale salad" they put with it. It didn't taste very pickled to me. I'd recommend a few berries or fruit instead. My son had the S'mores French Toast which is the breakfast of all kid's dreams. It was fairly sweet without syrup (but not overpowering somehow). Of course with the syrup it's so sweet that it causes diabetes from smelling it. Jk but it was to die for. We loved our food and even had extra for lunch today. I ordered a vanilla latte which was good, and very sweet. If you're not into a sweet latte I recommend letting them know beforehand. I stopped by here with my husband and the place was great, love the style and layout of the restaurant. We sat at the bar and our server was very attentive and friendly. I think the food was good, their crepe pancakes are delicious! I liked the chilaquiles but I didn't know it sat on a salad, didn't mind it, just wasn't expecting it. Took friend there and got a pork belly Benedict. Was delicious! Came with smash potatoes and kale salad on the side. My friend got a hamburger. This time I sat inside. Was still a little noisy compared to sitting last time outside with car noise from the street. They should just cut the music as if was barely heard with all the talking inside and added to the noise level. Also, our waiter last time checked on us often. This time we waited a bit, and I needed to flag down the waitress. I also flagged her down to get boxes and then later flagged someone down to get check.
