This shop is located in Sawmill Market. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Poh-Kay Bowl, recommended as the most popular option. For the price, there was not enough tuna. Flavors were good, but the bowl was almost 50% edamame. The fish also still had tough sinews in it.

So I was able to try their sister restaurant in Santa Fe before trying the spot in sawmill and the sample I had had in Santa Fe was so good I just had to go to our Albuquerque location. I really really loved these pre-crafted bowls, and one bowl was more than enough for two meals. They are a little on the pricier side, but so worth it. The flavors combined really well and I was overall quite happy with my meal. The rice was interesting not in a bad way, but just different than standard white rice. I would totally return to try some of the other options or maybe even order the same bowl again.

The food was great. I loved the lotus root in there, as I don't get to eat them that often. The seasoning was on point. For $15, the portion is very small, but it wasn't like I wasn't full at the end of it... so not terrible. Just pricey that I feel like I don't want to buy it for that reason... the staff was very nice!

It was my first time trying this place over in Sawmill market. I had the pohkay tuna bowl because well, maui onions, which I can't resist! I got this with the forbidden rice and the lavender-infused water. The forbidden rice is a really interesting texture and was quite tasty. I don't know if I'd get the lavender-infused water again, it was interesting, but perhaps not quite my taste. The poke bowl was amazing though and it was made incredibly quickly, literally in minutes which was great given some of the long lines that build up around sawmill market. It was a bit tricky to find kind of around a corner mashed in next to a few other places and with a very small storefront, but that's rather the nature of sawmill. If you're at sawmill definitely give it a try, completely worth it and also some amazing ice cream right next door!

POH-KAY TUNA ~ seaweed salad miso sesame soy sauce, avocado, sweet maui onions, pickled ginger, edamame, with white rice.

I would give this more stars if they were available. Service was friendly and fast, and the tuna was extremely fresh. It may have been a bit pricey, but 100% worth it. Only wish that I lived closer so I could return more frequently.

This is in Sawmill Market right next to the ice cream place with the fish. Most poke places I've been to are set up like Subway, where you go down a line and choose your ingredients. This is not that - it's a set menu with bowls you can order. Online menu states everything is gluten free; didn't see that in person and didn't ask. If you have Celiac, you should probably still ask some questions. I ordered a Hatch green chile shrimp bowl, which also had avocado, red cabbage, green chile and macadamia nuts (I'm probably forgetting things) over rice. I really liked it - great green chile flavor but not crazy hot - just a nice little kick. I would definitely order this bowl again. One guy was running the place alone, but the wait was right in line with other places in Sawmill, which was really not long. I visited on a weeknight.

Went to the Sawmill District to meet up with girlfriends for lunch. Notorious POKE was delicious! I ordered the Hatch green chili shrimp bowl. It comes with Hatch green chili ponzu sauce, shrimp, avocado, red cabbage, cilantro, macadamia nuts, and of course Hatch green chili. I chose the forbidden rice which I had never tried before. It is a purple rice that has a mild and nutty flavor with a chewy texture. Along with being delicious it has a lot of nutritional benefits. The entire dish was wonderful and I would definitely order it again! Great lunch!

This was a great gem in the Sawmill Market. The set menu makes for easy ordering and the only decision you have to make is the rice - whew, less pressure! I opted for the spicy tuna - what I really liked about this bowl was that the fixings were tossed in the sauce so it was all equally coated. Bonus - there were hot takis on the top. The rice was perfectly sticky!

I enjoyed it, it's nice that it's a dedicated gluten free business, which made it easy for them to accommodate my gluten allergy.

It's got something like a dozen different food outlets to please everyone. There are a couple of bar setups, too, that looked like fun. We got tacos, and some Vietnamese dishes and enjoyed them a lot. The place has plenty of tables, an upstairs area, and a large screen tv to take in while you dine. ... we enjoyed the experience so much that we went back a second night, and got noodle dishes, poke bowls, and a salad bowl. (We took these to go and went up the sandia tram and ate at picnic tables overlooking the city) Everything we ate was really good, and reasonably priced. And there are very many vegetarian options, and at least a few vegan ones, too. People say parking can be a hassle, but we didn't experience that. But the lot is small for the space size, so I can see how it could be an issue.

Our party had frozen lemonade, a tuna poke bowl (a little light on tuna and heavy on seaweed), California roll, and creamy lemon chicken pasta. The pasta was flavorful and a hefty serving. I also enjoyed one of the best iced vanilla lattes I've ever had at Little Bear (balanced, flavorful, not overly sweet).

He went to the back to get a clean cutting board and knife and changed his gloves, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the other employee working with him did not seem to take my gluten allergy seriously. As my order was being prepared, he reached in front of the other employee and used his gloved hands instead of the serving spoons to grab items. He started with the crab (which is gluten-free) and then grabbed other items, cross-contaminating everything. When I noticed this, I asked that my food not be taken from those containers due to cross contamination. The employee preparing my food was very kind and went to get fresh containers. I watched my meal being made and felt comfortable eating it. Everything seemed safe, and the food was really good! I was just disappointed that one employee did not take cross contamination seriously. Since the menu is clearly marked with gluten-free items, I would expect staff to be properly educated on cross contamination.

About 5 min later one roll and about 10-15 min later the remaining 5 rolls came out. So the bulk of the rolls took at least 25 min from order time. We waited at least 20-30 min to place our second order which was for two rolls and tuna tataki appetizer. Rolls came out pretty quickly... tuna never arrived. Either the place is understaffed, it's an AYCE tactic to save money or it was just our waitress? Not sure but for AYCE slow service is a deal breaker.

"Grilled marinated chicken tossed in a sweet-homemade teriyaki sauce." The menu says nothing about the chicken being coated in a "light batter." I called the restaurant told them that I was expecting just grilled marinated chicken, not with a batter. The gentleman who answered the phone, said they've been meaning to take that off the menu. I've seen this item on the Grubhub and restaurant menu before, just didn't order it, and it never said anything about it being battered. So, apparently it's not all that important to change being as the description hasn't changed in all these months. My order was refunded, and I greatly appreciate that, I now need to find something else to eat tonight. Had I been physically able to get in my car, and drive to the restaurant to ask how they prepare their food I would've done that instead of going through a delivery service.
