I'll say it every time and mean it... sushi xuan is hands down the best of the best in Abq when it comes to sushi! The service is always exceptional, The sushi is always fresh, and the food is always hot and made to order! It's a smaller location but that only adds the to charm and adds more of a reason to go. If you have not tried them yet... check them out!

Chirashi don - mixed sashimi on rice (ordered delivery)

Ordered via GrubHub with gift card. Packaging was smart, separating the ramen broth from the noodles to prevent over-saturation. Alas, I did not enjoy the black garlic tonkatsu ramen broth. The portion was very large, and they didn't skimp on chashu, but the broth was not my bag... Maybe it'll be yours? Also ordered chirashi don (12 pieces of mixed sashimi on rice). Included nice extras, like seaweed salad and imitation krab and tamago (egg)...but only one of the fresh fish impressed me.

Quick update. The egg drop and hot and sour soup are very good. I find myself dining here at least once a week as it is the closest sushi place to my home and rather convenient. The brewery and dispensary in the same shopping center can sometimes make parking challenging, but a short walk to work off an excellent meal is not a bad thing. Eating at the bar is also an interesting experience since you get to meet the takeout customers and delivery drivers waiting for orders.

My second favorite sushi joint! Phenomenal Hamachi with jalapeño. Just be aware that sometimes there is shellfish and it doesn't say that on the menu. Everything is delicious! Services, fantastic, and ambience is nice as well.

Came in for sushi. We are pretty basic when it comes to sushi. California Roll, Tiger Roll, Caterpillar Roll and Tempura. All of it was fantastic. Service was great.

Ordered via Uber Eats. Love at first sight roll and nigiri were pretty good. The fish was fresh enough. The "Korean Spicy Chicken" was confusing because it's not at all what I was expecting. The description doesn't state that it's breaded and fried so I wasn't expecting that. And if you're going to call something "Korean" and fry it, it had better be crispy AF. It had a light coating of breading which is fine but it was not crispy at all. Korean fried chicken is usually a thicker breading and double fried. The use the dried whole chili peppers is more Chinese than Korean. I did taste some gochugang but that's about as Korean as it got. It's not a bad dish, it's just not that Korean. I would maybe try ordering some more sushi rolls but maybe not the "Korean" dishes.

Traveling out of our usual circle brought us here for dinner. We walked into a dimly lit store and greeted by the exuberant manager telling us to sit anywhere and following with menus. Complimentary egg drop soup and our drinks came next. A lot to choose from by we settled on a lobster roll and for entrees the Sizzling Beef & Thai Curry Chicken. The sizzling beef came out sizzling on a cast iron platter(think fajitas). It was well seasoned and tender with onion, mushrooms and white rice in the side. The Curry had a strong yellow curry flavor with tender chicken and loads of veggies. The Lobster Roll tasted fresh. Excellent service topped off the day. Glad we stopped and this place will see us frequently.

I absolutely love this place. The service was top-notch, friendly and attentive. There is plenty of seating with nice, big booths and tables but it is not a huge place. The sushi and specialty rolls menu is amazing and creative. I took my whole family here and we ordered a lot of different things off the menu and everybody enjoyed their food. The sushi fish was extremely fresh and well portioned. Very competitive prices as well for Albuquerque. I also ordered the spicy Korean shrimp and I can honestly say I have never tasted anything like that and it was delicious. I just can't say enough good about this place. It has consistently stayed quality over the years.

Solid sushi. Great prices. Good service. I can't say if it's the best sushi in ABQ. I haven't tried that many Sushi places here.

They offer tons of condiments and ice cream for desert. I've also ordered this as delivery which I thought was impossible. But they make it work. You order your broth (single flavor uless you get two orders of broth). You also order your ingredients and whatevder sides you want. I usually get beef, pork and meatballs. Rather than cooking yourself they come cooked in a container with a little brother and you add them at your leisure. I usually get the spicy chicken nuggets as a side and they are delicious. First the food. It was absolutely fabulous. The appetizers were perfectly crispy and the sauce was not overpowering - they let the chicken do the talking. The broth was spicy but a little oily tasting. I was sweating the whole time which was awesome! The veggies, meats and mushrooms all had great flavor. This place was obviously using fresh ingredients. I'm sharing a copy of my bill so you can see that they itemize for things like the sauce/ ice cream bar as well as the cc fee. I like when restaurants do this because it means that they don't make everyone pay for things if they don't want those things. It means that this restaurant is going the extra mile to provide a good value. We were impressed and we'll be back for more awesome food and excellent service!

Sushiya is my goto for sushi in Albuquerque. It is consistently good, or it has been for me over the past six years. The food has always tasted fresh and they make a nice variety of rolls. I also frequent this restaurant with people who are NOT seafood or sushi fans by any means. So they have a nice variety of foods that are not sushi. In terms of the food, I'd always recommend it to anyone looking for good sushi. As for the service, which in my opinion separates the good from bad, it has been consistently good for six years. The service is always friendly. They are attentive and they anticipate your needs. This is a mom and pop place. I remember spending my days at my dad's bakery and coffee shop when I was young. Interacting with the customers and watching the place operate. Well, Sushiya reminds me of those times because they have their boy there who gets to do the same thing. So it's a nostalgic family and personal experience for me. It sets the ambience of the restaurant. People are friendly and you feel comfortable there. Overall, Sushiya has good service, it's family owned and operated. You just can't beat that! It's people who are passionate about their business. You know they care because they have skin in the game. This all shows at Sushiya. So go, check it out! Are you going to be blown away like Marty McFly by the food? Maybe not. But, you'll be comfortable, in a nice friendly environment and feel at home. Smiling people good food, affordable, and worth it!

I had been wanting to try this place since they opened, and thankfully the family was onboard with trying somewhere new. The outside of the building is nothing special, but you can't always judge a book by its cover. As we entered, we were warmly greeted by multiple staff members and seated right away. We ordered the miso soup, teriyaki chicken, bulgogi beef, and dumpling sampler. We all sampled each other's dishes, and everyone loved the food. Everything was very flavorful with just the right balance of portions and ingredients. The service was excellent. Our drinks were constantly refilled, and we never went thirsty. The building is definitely older, and where this showed most was in the bathrooms. They could use a fresh coat of paint and a few updates. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and will definitely be back.

Sushi including the sashimi plates are 50% Food: Dragon Roll: The roll was a nice size so that it could be eaten in 1 bite. Mini Sashimi Plate: The fish was fairly fresh tasting. This was included in the 50% off. Sesame Scallion Noodles: The noodles have a savory sesame scallion sauce coating it. It is very savory but also has a very heavy sesame flavor to it. Shrimp Fried Rice: They used short grain rice for the fried rice. It does have the wok char taste, but it is very oily (probably because they need more oil to prevent this type of rice from sticking together). There are nuts in it. Pan Fried Chicken Buns: This was the highlight of the dinner. These buns are handmade at the store and have a juicy chicken filling. Service: 5 Our waitress was super nice, but there was a little trouble in ordering due to the language barrier. Most of the food didn't take too long to come out besides the pan fried buns.
