We liked the sauce it came with as it was flavorful. Would reorder in the future. Katsu Donburi bowl was good. Would recommend and portion was just right. Nagomi Ramen - we asked for beef, but it looked like it was pork instead. It was pretty bland, which was disappointing. So maybe will get it spicy next time if we order again. Great portion size. The staff is always pretty friendly and accommodating. I shared an app, a roll and an order of salmon sashimi with a friend on both visits. The food is always fresh, and delicious! I never feel like I am being overcharged for what I get either. Going to eat for sushi can feel like that sometimes. The quality of the food is great and everything is always aesthetically pleasing as well. I had their avocado bomb on my last visit and I was delightfully surprised with it. I like avocado in most cases, but sometimes, it can be a lot at one. I thought this was going to be like that when I saw it, but I was wrong. I look forward to getting one of these on my next visit! On my last visit my friend and I saved room for a dessert, one that we saw rotating on their screens that they have in the restaurant showcasing some of the menu items. Interacting with the customers and watching the place operate. Well, Sushiya reminds me of those times because they have their boy there who gets to do the same thing. Everything was very flavorful with just the right balance of portions and ingredients. The service was excellent. Our drinks were constantly refilled, and we never went thirsty. The building is definitely older, and where this showed most was in the bathrooms. They could use a fresh coat of paint and a few updates.
