The pad Thai over here is my favorite! The sushi is also always fresh and delicious! There's always room to sit without a wait and the service is always on point and quick. The place overall (including bathrooms) are always clean which is most definitely a plus! We frequent this location quite often!

This was our first time here and we enjoyed it. We started with the calamari. The tempura was light and it was cooked well. The only down side was the batter kept falling off. No biggie. The miso soup was just okay for us. We ordered 2 California rolls. One tiger. One unagi and one Albuquerque (the green chile was tasty and had some heat). They were all big and really flavorful. We had lots of leftovers. Our total bill after tipping waitress as well as the sushi guy was $80. No drinks. Not the cheapest but worth it.

Small family owned business that has THE BIGGEST sushi rolls. Combo A was perfect and only $18! Picture below. High quality fish compared to the new modern ones opening up in the area. Quiet place but service was great and everything was clean

Wow! This place is just amazing! A small facility but cozy seem family owned. Appetizer Seaweed salad was pretty good and great portion! The shrimp pad Thai is absolutely delicious! Amazing flavor! We ordered about 5 different rolls lol waaayyy too much but just perfect and fresh! The only thing I didn't like was my bill was about $10 more for paying with debit card. I thought that was odd . But great service

Holy Moly this place is good! The fish is supa fresh and the prices are decent. They have multiple choices for sake. I got the Hana Apple and it was amazingly delicious. I ordered nigiri yellow tail and unagi and they were huge pieces of fish! The rolls were also great. I ordered a Philadelphia roll and the salmon pieces inside were huge! I also tried the Red Lady which is a green child tempura roll topped with crab, mayo, and spice sauce. Wow everything was to die for. The service was outstanding also. I would highly recommend this place for sushi. I can't wait to come back and try some Pad Thai or Curry. It all looks great. Cheers!

It shows their prices for each, but they are charging minimum $1 more for each menu item.

Their menu has pricing and they want to charge more for each item and won't honor the posted pricing on every single one of their menus. Bad business practice.

    All specialty rolls.

All you can eat sushi was good. The service was also good. Not my favorite place to get sushi but still a decent choice if you are feeling like eating ALOT. The place was clean and the servers were great. I think if you can eat alot it is worth it but we didn't save much. It's 28.99 each and we ordered 9 rolls for 4 people. They said the specialty rolls were 14.99 each so we basically saved money on one roll. Three of the rolls were so so. The rest were good but I have had way better and they only cost me $8 a roll. I would only go back if I have a major appetite.

Sushiya is my goto for sushi in Albuquerque. It is consistently good, or it has been for me over the past six years. The food has always tasted fresh and they make a nice variety of rolls. I also frequent this restaurant with people who are NOT seafood or sushi fans by any means. So they have a nice variety of foods that are not sushi. In terms of the food, I'd always recommend it to anyone looking for good sushi. As for the service, which in my opinion separates the good from bad, it has been consistently good for six years. The service is always friendly. They are attentive and they anticipate your needs. This is a mom and pop place. I remember spending my days at my dad's bakery and coffee shop when I was young. Interacting with the customers and watching the place operate. Well, Sushiya reminds me of those times because they have their boy there who gets to do the same thing. So it's a nostalgic family and personal experience for me. It sets the ambience of the restaurant. People are friendly and you feel comfortable there. Overall, Sushiya has good service, it's family owned and operated. You just can't beat that! It's people who are passionate about their business. You know they care because they have skin in the game. This all shows at Sushiya. So go, check it out! Are you going to be blown away like Marty McFly by the food? Maybe not. But, you'll be comfortable, in a nice friendly environment and feel at home. Smiling people good food, affordable, and worth it!

Highly recommend the dumplings and to try one of their sake's. This was the only place I have ever been to where they breakdown what sake is and which might be best for you. We started with miso soup, which was warm, light, and comforting with plenty of seaweed and green onion. It was a great way to start the meal. Next we shared a sushi roll, which was nicely presented and topped with sesame seeds. The roll had a good mix of avocado and crunchy filling, and it came with the classic ginger and wasabi on the side. For the main dishes, we ordered pad thai and a tofu vegetable noodle soup. The pad thai had soft rice noodles, bean sprouts, egg, and green onions, plus a big pile of crushed peanuts for extra texture and flavor. It was savory, slightly sweet, and really satisfying. The tofu vegetable noodle soup was packed with broccoli, mushrooms, and tofu in a rich, dark broth. It was hearty and flavorful, and the broth had a deep savory taste that made it feel like a comforting bowl of ramen. Everything came out hot, fresh, and filling. The portions were generous and it felt like a great casual spot to grab noodles downtown. If you're looking for comforting Asian noodle dishes in downtown Albuquerque, this place is definitely worth checking out!

I added the sriracha and hoisin and that added to the flavor! Overall a pretty solid pho and a good portion.
