We decided to try something a little different tonight, so glad we did. The dining area was clean and spacious. The employees were kind and helpful. It didn't take long for our food to arrive once we ordered. I checked out the women's bathroom, nice and clean. Our food was fresh, vegetables tender, flavors right on. We drank iced tea and water, surprisingly the tea was good, not watered down.

I seem to stop here every time I go to the UPS store next door. My last two visits didn't disappoint. I had the baked green mussels and and tempura udon on one visit and pho this last time. The baked green mussels had great flavor and were very good. I'll be ordering that one again. The udon came with perfectly fried tempura shrimp (one of my favorite items). The broth was just right and not too salty and the cabbage and other veggies added a nice crunch. I wish it had more of a variety of veggies or a few slices of fish cake in it. It was still very good overall. The beef pho was flavorful, but too salty for me. I diluted it with some water and it was much better. I liked that it came with plenty of mung bean sprouts and jalapeño. I love spicy food. I'll be back soon to try one of the many items on their menu!

Thai Taste so good..:)

As a dreamer of dreams and a travelin' man I have chalked up many a mile, Now just docked at Thai Taste/Sushi, undiscovered so far on these waters of Yelp. Our crew secured Appetisers of "Chicken Satay" of skewered nicely cooked chicken with a tasty earthy peanut gravy sauce; "Coconut Shrimp" of juicy coconut coated shrimp with a tangy sauce...and an Entrée "Pad Khing Beef" with the most delicious mushroomy-ginger forward /crisp veggies, pepper sauced noodles with slices of spot on cooked delicate bites of filet like beef. Each bite brought us back to our trips to various ports. This was one of the best Thai meals we've had in the High Desert. Thank you Thai Taste/Sushi. Where it all ends I can't fathom my friends If I knew I might toss out my anchor So I cruise along always searchin' for songs Not a lawyer, a thief or a banker.. But a son of a son, son of a son Son of a son of a sailor..:) Best, Avram Buffett Jr.

Stopped in for a sushi fix before running errands. Our server was super polite and attentive. Started with Thai iced teas and they were large and delicious. We only tried sushi this time around and it was all tasty. Some of the rolls could have been better formed but still manageable. We did notice some of the rolls are fairly pricey. Overall, a decent sushi place close to home. We noticed they were doing a ton of to go orders.

Place was empty, should have been my first sign! Plate was full when I left, with three rolls, so gross! Will not return!

Mediocre at its best. Jasmin tea tasted like fish. Why do we have restaurants that just doesn't care about the food they serve??

The food came out quickly and was pipping hot! Nice environment and an overall great experience, the portions are smaller than expected but I guess we should not be eating huge portions to begin with, no leftovers for a second meal later. Comparing them to actual Japanese restaurants wouldn't be fair. We were seated almost immediately and they had a nice Japanese painting over our table. Our waitress had a friendly smile and refilled waters regularly. I ordered the Tonkatsu ($15), which is deep fried panko breaded pork loin. I had this with the fried rice and extra cabbage. My wife and I also split an appetizer of Monkey Balls ($7.50), which are spicy tuna, cream cheese and crab stuffed into a tempura fried mushroom. The sauce drizzled on the Monkey Balls tasted spectacular, but the dipping sauce for my Tonkatsu was very bland and did nothing to enhance the taste. In addition, the fried rice turned out to be regularly cooked brown rice and it needed some soy sauce. Overall, we left full and the service was fast the food good. We spent a total of $40.36 for our dinner.

My boyfriend and I came for dinner and the place wasn't very busy, but it they place was ransacked. Almost every booth and seating needed to be bussed. We managed to find a couple seats up at the conveyor belt. We selected most of our sushi from the belt, but also ordered a few things from the menu. The system is set up pretty easy to understand, I think it was by the amount of pieces on the plate. Overall the sushi options on the conveyor belt were okay, a lot of them had a similar flavor profile. I also ordered a salmon nigiri, but was gravely disappointed. The salmon didn't look that great. I went ahead and had a piece and immediately regretted it. The salmon was stringy and it didn't want break apart. I didn't have another bite or the second piece. The pistachio ice cream was a saving grace and a fortunate way to end our meal.

We did not order sushi this time, and we would love to return to see whether it elevates our impression even further. Chicken Gyoza:The gyoza had a well-crisped exterior and a flavorful, juicy interior. The sweet dipping sauce was a nice touch and complemented the chicken well. Unfortunately I forgot to get a picture. Udon: The udon arrived in a generous portion, with simple ingredients of udon noodles, broth, and green onions. The noodles were cooked very well. The broth was flavorful, though a bit on the oily side. It is offered in three spice levels (regular, spicy, and extra spicy), and we ordered regular. I added a side of shrimp tempura, which was not a highlight. It seemed more reheated than freshly fried, and the exterior was soft rather than crisp. It is not an item I would recommend, but the udon itself was enjoyable. Tonkotsu Ramen: The ramen included broth, noodles, sweet corn, bamboo shoots, a boiled egg, and green onions, with chicken as our protein. The noodles had a texture reminiscent of instant cup noodles, which was a bit different from what we expected. The chicken was somewhat bland, though the sweet corn was an interesting addition, as it is not commonly served in this dish in our area. The boiled egg was a highlight, cooked to a perfect medium-well. Overall: The food was slightly below our expectations, but the friendly service and welcoming atmosphere made for an enjoyable visit. The gyoza and the ramen egg were standouts. We look forward to returning to try the sushi and see how it compares.
