We ate here for dinner last night. When we walked in, the restaurant was pretty full, but we were able to get seated right away. Our waitress came over, took our drink order, and we ordered a couple of appetizers. We got the chicken spring rolls and chicken satay, both of which were gluten-free. I didn't try the chicken satay, but I had the spring rolls, and they were really good, nice and fresh. For our meals, I ordered the gluten-free drunken noodles. My daughter, who is also gluten-free, ordered the spicy fried rice gluten-free, and my son ordered the yellow curry gluten-free. My husband had the Tom Yum soup, and my daughter-in-law had the Massaman curry. All of the food came out hot and was absolutely delicious. Everyone really enjoyed what they ordered! Returned here for the first time in a while and unfortunately didn't like the food as much this time. I called in to place a takeout order ahead of time and they were pretty quick so that was a plus though Pad see ew w/ tofu: 3/5 I ordered this same exact dish last time but this time I thought it was a little bland. We recently stopped by Thai Spice and had a great dinner. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere was relaxed but lively. I started with a Thai iced tea, which was absolutely delicious--perfectly sweet and creamy, and very refreshing. For an appetizer we ordered the potstickers, which came out hot and crispy with a tasty dipping sauce that paired really well with them. For my entrée I had the fried rice with tofu, and it was excellent. The rice had great flavor and texture, and the tofu was cooked nicely with a good mix of vegetables. My husband ordered another noodle soup dish that looked amazing as well--it had a flavorful beef broth, noodles, and herbs that smelled incredible. The food was phenomenal. There's really no words:. Wow, I thought I had my favorite Thai place chosen before, I was wrong. Thai spice is everything nice, and then some! The pineapple fried rice was the perfect balance spicy, sweet and savory. The rice had the perfect texture and the perfect balance of flavors, I just don't think anyone could have made it any better. I'm absolutely addicted, I feel the exact same way about the pad Thai as I do the fried rice. It's hard to say which one is my favorite dish here. The pad Thai had a little sweet too but not too much, just enough to really make all the other flavors come home. I have very rarely had a better pad Thai than this anywhere. It is a contender for every some of LA's best Thai food. The drunken noodles / pad see ew. Is good, really good actually. Not quite the same sentiment as the other two but I thought it was great and I would definitely be willing to eat it again. The only criticism I have is I wish their phone customer service wasn't on the weird side. I called and the lady first told me they don't have delivery, I asked her directly and said "not even on Uber Eats or DoorDash? Then she said maybe our website might have an option, so I went on there, it was some unknown third party company I never heard of. I was a little hesitant to put my card on it but I really wanted to try Thai spice so I took the chance, Sure enough the driver arrived on time; food was hot, and I enjoyed my experience. Ate here last night while traveling through Albuquerque after checking reviews. The restaurant was steady the whole time we were there. My standards are high for Thai food. It's not the taste I'm use to. The papaya salad didn't have the lime taste I love and had lettuce instead of cabbage, cabbage gives it more crunch. My daughter had the chicken pad Thai and even though it was good, the chicken was bland. The fried banana was good but I should have asked without chocolate. This place has best of burque awards all over the wall for a reason. This place is top notch Thai food. First of all it might also be the restaurant with the fastest service I've seen in town. I got my appetizer about 2 minutes after I ordered and my main dish about 5 minutes after I finished my spring rolls. They keep the drinks full. It is nice and clean inside but it gets full and the seating is a little cramped. I also love how at a Thai place when you ask for hot spices level they don't play around, the heat really kicks you in the balls. I can't believe this weekend was my first time here! Thai Spice is a small restaurant with great food and fantastic ambiance. It was packed when I went in for lunch at 2pm on a Sunday, which is a testament to its delicious, high quality food. I absoluetly loved the chicken satay and pad thai. The cucumber salad and peanut sauce that came with the satay were both sooo tasty! My pad thai was perfect, I got the medium heat level and it was enough spice without smoking you out. Solid spot for good Thai food! Our group of four ordered a bunch of dishes and shared them eating "family style." My favorite was the drunken noodles. Picked the shrimp for my protein. Second favorite dish was the chicken pad Thai. The chicken satay appetizer was also good. The Tom Yum soup was a favorite of some at the meal. We all agreed that the Panang Curry was our least favorite. I think it needed to cook longer. The sauce was watery and lacking flavor. Pineapple fried rice was also really good. So, we ended up trying this place out because SA thai is not open on Sundays. With that, great business model Thai Spice. This place is super neat, with open views, and is easy to get to. I still don't know why most parking lots that I have been to do not open to the main road, but ok. We have slightly sensitive stomachs when it comes to spice. We had alittle spice with Pad Thai and Yellow curry. Absolutely delicious meals, and the flavor is banging. I mean, it's delicious. Even when eaten as leftovers the next day, the food is absolutely awesome. So kudos there. The only issue we had, I think it came more from the pad thai, but jesus christ. Our favorite place is Krung Thai, but when in a hurry or when they are not open we'll opt for Thai Spice. A news article framed on the wall of Thai Spice described the restaurant as reliable, and I have to agree. We split an app and ordered two different noodle dishes. Both entrees were solid, though the service was quite slow - even for a Saturday night. The wait for two around 5:30 was said to be 20 minutes, though I believe we were seated in about 15. The wait for our noodles, however, was at least 25 minutes...and the party of three seated after us received their food a good 5-10 minutes before we did. The restaurant was busy but did not appear under-staffed, so I'm not sure what caused the delay. For app, the fresh summer roll with chicken was tasty and well complemented by the house-made plum sauce. My only note is that it could've been rolled more tightly. For dinner, I liked my pad see ew with beef, and his chicken pad Thai was yummy though light on the veggies. Portions were very large, so we both brought home leftovers. Biggest complaint is on husband's behalf: The spicy isn't spicy. I'd read this in other Yelp reviews, but even after emphasizing that he wanted his pad Thai "very spicy," I was able to eat it...and I'm incredibly sensitive to heat. Hot is mild at best, so if spicy is a must for your Thai fix, Thai Spice isn't the establishment for you. read more

Saturday. December 9, 2023. Dinner. We lucked out. They had an empty table as soon as we walked in. Sat us down immediately. There is an outdoor patio, but no one sat there because of the freezing temperatures. I heard the waiter tell subsequent people walking in that it would be a 30-40-minute wait. They are located Northwest of Wyoming and Paseo Del Norte. Our waiter, Johnny, looked young and energetic. He told us the restaurant had been opened seven years. We ordered 2 shrimp spring rolls ($5.95). They were large but had very little shrimp inside. The vegetables inside didn't taste old, but they weren't super fresh either. I ordered the Jasmine tea ($2.50). The tea came in a heavy, black metal tea pot with two tea bags and a black metal cup. I liked the presentation, and the tea had a nice, light floral flavor. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with seafood ($15.95). I believe the seafood included mussels, shrimp, squid and some sort of fish. Johnny told me that the Thai Spice level was hot. He joked that I couldn't send it back. So, I ordered that level and found it to be not hot at all. I had to add Sriracha to it. Johnny checked on us multiple times during our meal. He had a pleasant, positive attitude. The restaurant is decorated impeccably, with swimming fish, multi-colored upside-down umbrellas hanging from the ceiling, romantic lighting and modern artwork on the walls. I can attest, from personal experience, that the men's bathroom was very clean inside. Let me be honest, this isn't the best Thai cuisine in Burque. It was a bit bland and not very spicy. However, the service and ambiance were hitting the mark and the prices are reasonable. If you want an average Thai meal, this is your spot. read more

We picked this up to go recently and I was very happy with the green Thai curry I ordered. The website says there's no online ordering (or that it's unavailable) but you can actually order via Selflane which is great! The order was ready early which was great since the app requires at least an hour heads up which was surprising. I have a weakness for Thai curry and hadn't had it in forever- this totally hit the spot. It was a huge portion and just perfection. I ordered it with the 2nd level of spice (right below "Thai hot") and it was a good level of heat if you like spicy food. If you're more sensitive to heat, stick with the medium. There was a good amount of veggies as well as chicken. I can't speak to the service since we did takeout but when i went to pick it up they were efficient and quick. I feel like the highest spice level is too spicy to enjoy - this is coming from someone who loves spice. My girlfriend loves the curry here and wanted to show me a good spot while visiting from out of town. I ordered the pad thai with chicken and hot spicy level. Because of the bowl used to serve the noodles, it was soggy and way too sauced. I'm pretty sure they forgot to spice it up because there was no spice at all. I was hungry and at that point didn't care about the spice level was. It was the run of the mill pad thai for me. The curry my girlfriend had was good, that is something I would get myself and a strong recommendation. Her dish was spiced up correctly. We mentioned the spicy level to our server at the end of the meal. The decor is pretty nice and everyone was polite. This place is good, but they missed the mark on my dish. Thai Spice delivers. The food is flavorful, has the complexity and depth of flavor i expect from various dishes and always tastes fresh. The service is quick and efficient and dependable and the ambiance is big, open and has beautiful traditional decor. I usually get the drunken noodles, chicken satay but have tried a few other things throughout the years. I appreciate the chicken satay has the creamy peanut sauce instead of the see through chili sauce I have gotten in tons of other places throughout New Mexico.
