Pad see ew

The food was phenomenal. There's really no words:. Wow, I thought I had my favorite Thai place chosen before, I was wrong. Thai spice is everything nice, and then some! The pineapple fried rice was the perfect balance spicy, sweet and savory. The rice had the perfect texture and the perfect balance of flavors, I just don't think anyone could have made it any better. I'm absolutely addicted, I feel the exact same way about the pad Thai as I do the fried rice. It's hard to say which one is my favorite dish here. The pad Thai had a little sweet too but not too much, just enough to really make all the other flavors come home. I have very rarely had a better pad Thai than this anywhere. It is a contender for every some of LA's best Thai food. The drunken noodles / pad see ew. Is good, really good actually. Not quite the same sentiment as the other two but I thought it was great and I would definitely be willing to eat it again. The only criticism I have is I wish their phone customer service wasn't on the weird side. I called and the lady first told me they don't have delivery, I asked her directly and said "not even on Uber Eats or DoorDash? Then she said maybe our website might have an option, so I went on there, it was some unknown third party company I never heard of. I was a little hesitant to put my card on it but I really wanted to try Thai spice so I took the chance, Sure enough the driver arrived on time; food was hot, and I enjoyed my experience. Hopefully their employees learn what they are able to do so the next customer doesn't walk away.

We recently stopped by Thai Spice and had a great dinner. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere was relaxed but lively. I started with a Thai iced tea, which was absolutely delicious--perfectly sweet and creamy, and very refreshing. For an appetizer we ordered the potstickers, which came out hot and crispy with a tasty dipping sauce that paired really well with them. For my entrée I had the fried rice with tofu, and it was excellent. The rice had great flavor and texture, and the tofu was cooked nicely with a good mix of vegetables. My husband ordered another noodle soup dish that looked amazing as well--it had a flavorful beef broth, noodles, and herbs that smelled incredible. Overall, the food was delicious and the experience was really enjoyable. If you're looking for Thai food in Albuquerque, Thai Spice is definitely worth a visit. Five stars all the way!

One of the best Thai restaurants in abq! The food is always so good and fresh never cold. They have really good beef salad as well. The service is always good they always check to see how we're doing. Definitely my go to Thai spot!

Ate here last night while traveling through Albuquerque after checking reviews. The restaurant was steady the whole time we were there. My standards are high for Thai food. It's not the taste I'm use to. The papaya salad didn't have the lime taste I love and had lettuce instead of cabbage, cabbage gives it more crunch. My daughter had the chicken pad Thai and even though it was good, the chicken was bland. The fried banana was good but I should have asked without chocolate. Again, I always want authentic Thai food with the tastes that are familiar to me.

This place has best of burque awards all over the wall for a reason. This place is top notch Thai food. First of all it might also be the restaurant with the fastest service I've seen in town. I got my appetizer about 2 minutes after I ordered and my main dish about 5 minutes after I finished my spring rolls. They keep the drinks full. It is nice and clean inside but it gets full and the seating is a little cramped. I also love how at a Thai place when you ask for hot spices level they don't play around, the heat really kicks you in the balls. I appreciate that, the food is great don't let the corny shopping center location fool you.

I can't believe this weekend was my first time here! Thai Spice is a small restaurant with great food and fantastic ambiance. It was packed when I went in for lunch at 2pm on a Sunday, which is a testament to its delicious, high quality food. I absoluetly loved the chicken satay and pad thai. The cucumber salad and peanut sauce that came with the satay were both sooo tasty! My pad thai was perfect, I got the medium heat level and it was enough spice without smoking you out. I will definitely be back when I am hankering for Thai! I need to try the massaman curry next!

Solid spot for good Thai food! Our group of four ordered a bunch of dishes and shared them eating "family style." My favorite was the drunken noodles. Picked the shrimp for my protein. Second favorite dish was the chicken pad Thai. The chicken satay appetizer was also good. The Tom Yum soup was a favorite of some at the meal. We all agreed that the Panang Curry was our least favorite. I think it needed to cook longer. The sauce was watery and lacking flavor. Pineapple fried rice was also really good. Service was prompt and friendly and this is definitely a spot we would go back for.

A news article framed on the wall of Thai Spice described the restaurant as reliable, and I have to agree. We split an app and ordered two different noodle dishes. Both entrees were solid, though the service was quite slow - even for a Saturday night. The wait for two around 5:30 was said to be 20 minutes, though I believe we were seated in about 15. The wait for our noodles, however, was at least 25 minutes...and the party of three seated after us received their food a good 5-10 minutes before we did. The restaurant was busy but did not appear under-staffed, so I'm not sure what caused the delay. For app, the fresh summer roll with chicken was tasty and well complemented by the house-made plum sauce. My only note is that it could've been rolled more tightly. For dinner, I liked my pad see ew with beef, and his chicken pad Thai was yummy though light on the veggies. Portions were very large, so we both brought home leftovers. Biggest complaint is on husband's behalf: The spicy isn't spicy. I'd read this in other Yelp reviews, but even after emphasizing that he wanted his pad Thai "very spicy," I was able to eat it...and I'm incredibly sensitive to heat. Hot is mild at best, so if spicy is a must for your Thai fix, Thai Spice isn't the establishment for you.

Stopped by here for lunch with a friend and it was delicious! It got busy around lunch time but service was efficient. I'll definitely go back to try other dishes!

Thai Spice. Beautiful fish in their two relaxing aquariums.

I've never been disappointed eating at Thai Spice. The food is always good, even if it's takeout. The staff are also very friendly.

With the menu board, it feels like fast food less sit down style. Service has changed as well. Now, you place your order and PAY at the counter and seat yourself. You are asked to tip before you receive service. tipping is supposed to be base on quality of service. You do receive table service once your food is ready. The menu has changed as well. We loved the jerky and sticky rice, now gone! Fish cakes is new but it was too chewy and dry with little flavor. Shrimp cocktail and dumplings were good. This was the only Thai restaurant in town that served good Thai rice noodle soup similar to pho. Sadly it's no longer the case. It was bland! Traditional beef soup included meatballs, now gone. They also charge ridiculous prices for some add-ons such as crushed peanuts $2.00 per order!! Really, for 2 ppl we could have bought a whole jar. Service ended up being good especially since we were the only patrons. I low balled the tip at time of order and ended up giving additional tip in cash. Sadly to say, it's off our list of favorite restaurant in town. Probably will not go back.

I had the Pad Thai, Pad See Eww (but it's quite the opposite of eww ), the crab Rangoon, and the money bags. So my absolute favorite item was the Pad Thai, I absolutely loved it. Arguably the best in New Mexico. The Pad see eww was also the best I've had in New Mexico. Neither compared to big city Thai food, but they were close! The crab Rangoon was the best crab Rangoon I've had in a long time, in any city. The way they wrapped it was clever, you could taste the cream cheese filling as you bite, it was great. The money bags was fine, the sauce was too watery I think that came with it which made the flavor run off of it quickly. Huge star bonus for their to go containers not being cancer causing styrofoam. For this alone I stopped ordering from other Thai places in town. Many states have banned styrofoam, it's very very bad, I'm so glad they don't use it.

Disappointing first experience…read more Why would you call a customer and not leave a voicemail? For a first experience with Tokyo Bangkok, this was incredibly disappointing. My husband picked up an order that I had placed online. About 30 minutes after he picked it up, I noticed I had a missed call from the restaurant. The only voicemail left was essentially, "It's like a robot." Yes--that's the call screening...but why not leave an actual voicemail explaining why you were calling? Since I was still at work, I asked my husband to call the restaurant. We then learned that the main item we had paid for was never included in our order. I appreciate that you offered a refund for the missing item, but my husband specifically asked if the missing food could simply be delivered since it was the restaurant's mistake, and that request was declined. That was particularly frustrating. If the restaurant realized an item had been left out, why not clearly communicate that when calling? And if we hadn't noticed the missed call or followed up, would we ever have been notified about the missing item? Mistakes happen, but it's how a business handles those mistakes that makes a lasting impression. Unfortunately, this was our first experience with Tokyo Bangkok, and instead of leaving us excited to order again, it left a very bitter taste. I hope this was an isolated incident, but better communication and customer service would have made a significant difference
