Focaccia MARY LOU (HOT SUB) THE BEST OMG

This sandwich should be on a show somewhere omg I swear I swallowed it whole I couldn't stop

Vegan meatball sub, fries and blood orange cider

I had heard good things about the pizza, but then noticed that there were a variety of vegan items on the menu so I had to try those. I will be back and try the pizza next time this is a great place to stop in after a hike on the east side of the Sandias! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so whether and bug-depending, you can enjoy more outdoors![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place isn't huge, so I could imagine it might get crowded at various times of day, but it was pretty quiet at 7pm on a Saturday and I was a bit surprised.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Anyway, the wait staff was all very friendly and our food came out quickly. They also have Tractor blood orange cider on tap, or at least did the evening we were there. I had the vegan meatball sub which came with fries. Since I'm not vegan, I did swap in the dairy-based cheese. The sandwich was delightful and huge. It was definitely two meals, especially with the fries which were done just right. Give this place a try, go for the pizza, go for the vegan options, but regardless just go check it out!

Another great lunch at TrailRider. Smoked pastrami Reuben with salad was great and buffalo chicken always tasty. Service was spot on. Must visit.

Front signage. It's a little hard to see on your fist visit. But my GPS got me right there

My first visit to this establishment. In the time I have lived in Albuquerque (little over 3 years) I have not done much up Tijeras and Cedar Crest Way. They featured Irish music tonight, so I ventured up and was pleased by 1. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The scenic location[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 2. The food 3. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Staff greeted me warmly as I entered and were attentive during my time there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is casual and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Although listed as pizza restaurant, the menu includes many other items as well. The beer and wine list looks good; I stuck with soda on this trip. I went with the vegan meatball sub. It included vegan cheese and came with side of fries. I do a lot of vegan cooking at home; ended up being very impressed with the vegan meatballs. Nice texture, good herbs and spices. Prices are on the low side! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music was very pleasant and importantly to me, was done at a subdued volume.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll be back!

Had an amazing waitress, Kayden (I hope I spelled that right). Food was delicious, it deserves a return visit to try other things on the menu.

Greenside Cafe not only had friendly, attentive, and professional staff like Tara and Miss Emily, but the FOOD!!! (We will make a point to drive to Cedar Crest just to dine here now.) I'm definitely a fried chicken expert. Their fried chicken sandwich is one of the best ones I have ever had. They start with a chicken breast that is buttermilk battered and fried, and is then topped with a gochujang aioli and kimchi slaw. PERFECTION on a brioche bun. House made chips! My guest had the slow cooked beef brisket enchiladas...shredded and stacked between white corn tortillas with cheddar and jack cheese. Served with basmati rice, and bacon pinto beans, X-mas all around. (I was so blissed out eating my sandwich that I didn't get photos of his meal.) As soon as you step in the entryway you are greeted by healthy plants, then lofty ceilings, hand painted murals, and natural light...a welcoming place to be.

There was a bit of live music on the patio after some rain. Both outside and inside spaces were plenty. The young server was very attentive and was on top of things. We went with friends so we sampled a few things. Our friends ordered the chicken bbq pizza and dry rub wings, while we ordered the chicken pesto and the New Mexican pizza. The thin crust on all pizzas was perfect, with a good balance between crunchy and soft. The green chile from the New Mexican pizza had a kick, the bbq chicken was tasty, and the pesto was smooth and mild. We all agreed that the pizzas needed more cheese. The wings were crispy but the rub didn't have flavor and the chicken was a bit dry. For our drinks, I got the Golden Ale while everyone else got La Madera. The Golden was smooth, lagers, with a bit of hoppiness. La Madera was a mild, dark, sweet ale that was quite good. Overall, this was a very nice experience on a rainy evening, with good brick oven pizzas and a nice dark beer. The wings, though could have been better.
