I was excited to hear about this place as there are very few dim sum choices in Bergen County. And it's always nice to get the chance to support a small business. Unfortunately because there is virtually no competition, a mediocre place like this can exist. If you need a fast fix, it will do (for certain dishes). But there are so many things that need improvement and it's really unacceptable given the absurdly high prices Dim Sum Station charges ($6 for har gow / steamed shrimp dumplings). I lived in Hong Kong for many years and had the best dim sum so everything is a difficult comparison, but Dim Sum Station is a disappointment on many levels. We tried the Hong Kong Style wonton noodle soup. No good. The broth was completely tasteless - and you need a tasty broth to add flavor to the wontons and noodles. The noodles were "okay" but not as thin and chewy as the authentic version. The har gow (steamed shrimp dumplings) were over cooked and falling apart. The skin was too soft. The plain rice rolls also suffered from the same problem. Overcooked and ended up too soft (and stuck together). The other thing that was difficult to see was that each dim sum item was served in a plastic clamshell, even if you stayed in to eat. Absurd. All the trash (recyclable or not) goes into the same bin. Yikes. The turnip cakes were okay as were the shrimp spring rolls (thin and crispy). I also don't have a problem with the takeout counter setup. read more

Really glad this place opened up. Dim sum is not easy to find in northern NJ, and this spot is comparable to the dine-in places I grew up with in Chinatown & Flushing. I had a perfect dim sum visit today. I ordered chicken feet, bean curd rolls, and spare ribs in black bean sauce. All were excellent, meeting the Hong Kong Cantonese Dim Sum standard. Also, I was pleasantly surprised as they offered me a cup of hot tea. When I ordered my food, I told the cashier that it would be for take-out as hot tea was not available. Not like your classic dimsum restaurant where you have ladies pushing carts. Ordered at the counter with self service, they will call your order number and you will pick it up. Order chicken feet, spare ribs, Cantonese beef balls, black pepper short ribs, Chiu chow dumplings, shrimp rice rolls. All food tastes like what you can get from the dimsum carts, was highly impressed. Food was super delicious, but sadly they don't offer any milk tea/ hot tea. Would pair nicely with dimsum. Seating area kind of small, and it's mainly seating booths. Would recommend ordering in advance because they have lots of mobile orders as well. So if you're on you're way to dine in, better to order in advance so when you get there you will be able to eat. They have a small parking lot in the back of the store. . . . . . I don't normally write reviews unless food are really good or really poor. They are delicious! We ordered some dimsums and steam vegetables which I didn't have time to take picture. They were all very fresh and good. We enjoyed every bite. Then we ordered some dessert- Egg tart, fried sesame ball and sponge cake. They were also very good especially egg tart!
