Came to check out their sale. Most of the items were gone. They do not have restrooms in the store. Also you can't even try on any green tag merchandise. That's wild. Like what if it doesn't fit. Apparently if it doesn't have a tag they can't sell it to you either. read more

We like the selection in this store. Everything is laid out fairly simply and if in stock, what you're looking for is usually pretty easy to find. Most importantly, the prices are usually very low. However, the store is not air-conditioned. And that makes it miserably hot in the summer and just hot all the other seasons. read more

Absolutely worthless from the way they run the store to strong arming entry into the store 10 minutes before closing. I'm currently cutting up my Dillard's credit card. I drove 45 minutes to get here. Only to be turned away watching others getting attended to. Stay away! read more

Disgusting and wrong: flipped dressing room doors let people see you trying on clothes from the outside. I brought this up to several employees they said management was aware and seemed generally uninterested w the problem, somebody took my number but I doubt they'll change anything. Would not recommend trying clothes on in these exposed fitting rooms. read more

Man, I'm telling you, this Dillard's is a gold mine in the west valley! It would be a day trip for me to drive to a decent mall to go shopping. However this Dillard's has come through for me so many times. When I need a quick outfit and don't have all day to shop I hit up this place. I'm always amazed at how good the sale items are and there aren't that many people shopping here so the selection is great. There is this one rack of jewelry by the escalator that is marked at 30% - shit needs to go or be priced to sell at 70% off. After Christmas I scored some nice decor at 80% off, I look forward to going back next year. I grab my Clinque products here and the makeup counter ladies are a pain in the ass but still, I appreciate the convenience. read more

I decided to stop in for the first time ever. I've always known about the clearance center I just never had much desire to go. I was not expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. First of all its not nearly as crowded or chaotic as the Last Chance owned by Nordstrom. It's laid out well and easy to access a changing room. Of course, it's a clearance Center so don't expect it to be a luxury experience! I did find a few designer pieces and in perfect condition. I spent around $200 for around $600 worth of clothes. Not bad! I will definitely stop in again. The shoes and bags were not good, I suppose it's hit and miss. One thing I noticed is that everything comes from the main Dillards store, nothing is made for the clearance Center like some brands at the Nordstrom Rack, which is nice. Finding your size may be a bit of a challenge but if you like a treasure hunt then it's worth it. A few items were overpriced, a rough-looking sweater for $79 during the off-season is a bit ridiculous! Still worth a visit. read more

They always have some pretty great stuff on sale and if you find something you like but don't want to pay full price , come back in a few weeks and it's probably on some sort of sale . Honest Review: Has Great customer service not to mention Bilingual staff. Clean store, up to date on the lates styles. My favorite shopping store. This is a smaller location with not a big selection for womens plus size clothing but I usually find something. They do have a good purse selection with a variety of brands. The perfum selection for women and men is also good. Staffing varies sometime there is no one available on the second floor and I have to go look for an open register. read more

4 stars is fair enough. I don't think it merits a 5 star rating since this particular location is somewhat in disrepair and has definitely seen better days. I remember shopping here with my mom in the early 80's. The quality was way better and only the "upscale" people shopped here which made us feel a bit awkward because we were NOT upscale by any means. I get a sense of melancholy when I frequent this location because I can still see the original structure and detail which denotes a once lavish department store...which is lavish no more. I shop here quite often though but prefer the Dillard's in Scottsdale since it's so much cleaner, modern and the selections are beyond what the Desert Sky location can ever offer. read more

Not the best location for quality and inventory. They are flooded with Michael Kors and Coach and needs an update like 5 years ago... I rather drive to the Arrowhead location. The cosmetic counters def need an update especially with lighting. Asked for help at the Lancome counter and the gals there are extremely helpful. Walked over to the Estee Lauder counter and the girl there seemed bothered and didn't even go out of her way to match a foundation correctly. I go here for necessity and for the great cardholder sales but otherwise I just head over to the Arrowhead location. read more

I was on my way back from California and was looking for a Dillards to catch the New years day Sale at. Despite all of the negative comments, I thought this would be an ideal choice due to its location from the freeway. I was appauled with the service that I received. From the moment I step foot in this store the workers were speaking Spanish to one another and yelling across the store at each other. There were groups of workers standing together in each department. I felt hesitant asking for help as it was intimidating approaching the group of people speaking another language. When I did ask for help the workers seemed very annoyed and directed me to go to a different department to ask for help. When I went to the specific department to ask my question, no one knew how to answer it. They would go ask someone else. It got to the point where I didn't even want to ask for help since it was apparent that it would be more of a hassle. I overheard one worker upstairs tell the other, "I don't care if they fire me". I have never been to a store so unprofessional. I would recommend that the hiring process for this store to be better organized and management should pre-screen potential candidates thoroughly before hiring someone who is just capable rather than motivated. read more

Ive lived in this area about thirty years when I first bought my home. Desert Sky Mall [formerly Westridge] was built soon after. As the years have gone by there has been many changes. I still shop this Dillards for my Clinque makeup. This might be the last time. When I went to purchase some powder the cosmetic girl greeted me in Spanish, grant it I am Mexican -American I answered her in English . Her whole demeanor changed after that. She got me my powder, and I asked her about the lip color she had on she told me me It was a pencil. I asked her what color it was and she said she didn't know. How are you going to work behind a cosmetic counter and not know your product. She rang up me up and I was done. I still wanted to look at some eye shadow, but she was very rude.
