Just walked around the shoe department browsing and not one of the 4 sales people greeted me or asked if I needed help. The department was not busy and as I held 3 shoes to try on while looking directly at one of the clerks she finally decided to ask if I needed help. I bought one pair but plan to go to Stonebriar to purchase the other two. I just didn't want to give anymore of my money to this store. And when did clerks stop saying thank you after a sale.....she replied "here you go". Very Annoying! read more

Free standing store. It is in a great complex surrounded by many other businesses. This Dillard's seems to be much nicer than most Dillard stores. Great selection of items and the individual departments are huge! read more

DILLARD'S RETURN POLICY SUCKS! First let me start by saying that the ladies that helped me today in dresses were wonderful, kind, and helpful. They are the reasons I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. Here's what happened: I ordered a formal dress in January from Dillard's.com for my daughters wedding. It fit ok at the time but recently I've had some health issues and the dress got tight around the chest area. I kept all the paperwork and all tags were in place. I knew I wouldn't get my money back because it was longer than 90 days, not a problem as I planned on exchanging for something else. So went today, found a much better dress and started to exchange it. The first dress is still for sale online at Dillard's.com for the same price I paid. Well guess what? You can't return or exchange from an online order in the store even with a receipt IF the item isn't carried in store. So instead of having $130 towards my new dress they only allowed me $45 from my original dress which was "discontinued " in the store. Even though the dress is full price online no dice! The manager tried all different ways to try and override and give me back my money toward the new dress but the best she could do was $45. So I lost out on $85 which completely unacceptable. If I didn't need the dress very soon I would have probably thrown a fit and given my new dress business to another store, like Nordstrom where the return policy is fantastic and they stand by their products. Very irritated with Dillard's policy. I try to support Texas based companies but I can promise you that this was my last purchase at Dillard's. read more

Worst customer service!! Rude and unprofessional from stir manger to customer servise employees.

Though the store is nice, with wonderful selections, they have a terrible return policy! I bought a gift for someone, and it turns out that the item ran small. When I went back to return the item, I could not believe how very difficult they made it to return it! It was my first time buying from Dillard's, and my experience was enough to discourage me from shopping there again. It is for this reason that companies like Amazon are doing so well. The Amazon return policy is pretty customer friendly. read more

This is a terrrible store and the manager is horrible do not go there. Ifu wantto return an item they give u a hard time and do not return it. Waste of ur time and money and disrespectful read more

This place has zip ties on all their clearance shoes! This system makes it impossible to try on a pair and walk around. Seriously, Dillard's?! read more

I am disgusted by the way this store is run. don't spend your money here. the managers are rude. the security guard followed me from the moment I walked in.- up and down the escalator for over 30 minutes- and later had a very rude associate accuse me of stealing a bag.- when I hadn't even been in the handbag department. I can't even believe I was followed and treated so rudely just because they couldn't get their facts straight. that security guard wouldn't last a day in any real law enforcement. I won't ever shop here again. read more

I've been a Dillards shopper (in store and online) for a long time now. I've always experienced great service. If you need to return something at the Fairview location and specifically if you need to go to the customer service department to handle online returns, deal only with the manager on duty. Unfortunately, I had the pleasure of enduring patronizing and very unprofessional service from one of their customer service representatives. You would think that they would have their most seasoned employees in that department. read more

This Dillard's never has very good sale prices anymore but they do have an organized store and helpful staff. The girls at the makeup counters are super hateful though. I try to avoid going there. I had change to get out (exact change, like 74 cents or something) and as I was digging in my purse the girl kept huffing and sighing. Like girl - pause. I'm workin on it. So if u have to make a fast gift card purchase and are cheap like me and also hate coins and wanna get rid of them - do noooot check out at the makeup counters! At least the store appears clean and I would choose it a million times over the trashpile that Macys has been the past few years. read more

This store has excellent customer service. Loaded with merchandise. It is a hidden gem, store has lots of mark down clearance merchandise. If you cannot find it at a busy Dillard's you can find it here!!! read more

I have repeatedly experienced over-the-top service from Jinsyn at the MAC counter and have recommended her to several others who have always been super satisfied. This young lady definitely loves her craft, and is very talented. She never disappoints! read more

Great selection on men's clothes. A tad pricey but it's nice to have the selection ( which I normally find fleeting at other places)

Sarah is totally awesome! She's the manager at Mac. Every encounter has been pleasant. She takes her time and really gives you undivided attention. I lover her bubbly personality! read more

I love this store! It is so convenient and it has the best shoe department! Also, I am a Clinique user and the gals at the counter are always super helpful. read more

My sister went in to speak with customer service and she has never felt so uncomfortable in her life. She got the ladies names Nancy and grace, made fun of how she looked, kept speaking behind her back repeatedly, made her wait to speak with a manager for 30 minutes. The ladies were poking around the corner staring at her, speaking loudly about her, and doing little gestures that my sister had been doing( ex. Pulling down her dress) and she watched one of the ladies act like she was pulling down a dress. My sister finally just got up and left because she knew she was gettin made fun of. So freaken rude. Grown ass women. Making fun of a 19 year old. read more

I ventured to this Dillard;s today and very happy I did! I'm usually a Sephora girl, but they don't carry the Lancome product I was wanting to try. Thankfully, I found Zeba at the Lancome counter who was wonderful! She was super sweet and helpful! I've never been to this Dillard's before, but will definitely return. As I browsed the makeup area, a few ladies were super nice and checked to see if I needed anything. Its great to see good customer service still exists :) read more

I cannot believe how rude and bitchy the handbag people are... making eye contact with me SEVERAL times but not saying hello or can I help you find anything? NOTHING... complete rudeness... and when she would catch my eye she'd turn around and act busy... there was no one else in the store except the other employee... so as I was walking out pissed off I called them both out and told them how rude they were and she actually said..."sorry we are just in the zone"... WTF does that mean?? The zone of being rude? The zone of not acknowledging people?? Anyway I will not be back there EVER even if they do have the best selection of my favorite handbags... I'll carry a plastic Kroger bag before I buy anything from this Dillard's... read more

We were double charged for a dress and noticed once we walked out to the car. When we walked back in and to customer service the manager on duty was VERY rude and made us feel like it was our fault we didn't catch it before we paid and was almost irritated we wanted the money back. We will make the drive to a different Dillard's now. read more

Yesterday I went into Dillard's and encountered a very polite and attentive young lady. Miss Judy in fragrance, helped me above and beyond with what I was looking for and needed. She was very sweet to say the least. When I go back to this Dillard's, I hope to see her again. If her manager is reading this, just want to say that you have a true team player on your team! Thank you for your help, Judy! :-) read more

Dillard's is the hardest store to do business with. They're return policy is too restrictive. I have never heard of 3 day return limit for clearance items. I tried to return at 6 days. No go. I hate Dillard's read more

I have been shopping at this Dillard's for a while now - ever since they opened up. However, this past weekend, I went to get a receipt straightened out and experienced very rude customer service. My mom had bought two purses for which she was overcharged and to top it all off, the tags and the receipts weren't matching. Instead of helping, after making me wait for an hour, the manager, Angela, came by and completely blew me off. I don't return things often so I was taken completely by surprise. Would not recommend this place if you need to return anything. read more

I always come here to shop, well not anymore! This woman (the sales manager Connie) was so rude and has horrible customer service. I wanted to speak to the Store manager Aaron yet the associates brought this lady which obviously is new and looks like she has no experience with customer service. I will never come to this shoe department ever and I will make sure I let all my friends know to not return there either. read more

I am so tired of the complete lack of service at the Dillard's in Fairview. I know that if I plan to shop at this store, then I need to allow myself a 2 hour time slot because the service is so unbelievably slow. I am assuming that it is always understaffed since I always have to spend the majority of my time seeking out an employee just to complete my purchases. The employees have Never once offered assistance to me without me asking. On Thursday, December 18th I was in the children's department attempting to purchase $500 worth of children's clothes. Several of my items were marked down and were not ringing up at the discounted price. I explained to the associate the situation and she completely discredited me and told me that someone must have placed the items in the wrong spot.. She refused to confirm my to see if my items were marked down. After asking numerous times, a lady from the children's shoe department offered assistance and found that my items were on sale, The associate attempted to raise her voice at me to tell me that she did not even work in that department(she works in the bedding department), so she did not know how to check on the scanner to see if items were on sale. She continued to raise her voice to tell me that it was my fault that I didn't check first. When asked by another customer, she was completely unaware of the return policy. Once again, she blamed it on not working in that department. She also refused to scan the previous customer's receipt to give her the full amount of her return until the more knowledgeable associate from the children's shoe department took care of the problem again. I work too hard for my money to be treated with such blatant disrespect from Dillard's. And yes, I blame Dillard's because she is a direct representative of the company as a whole. Dillard's need to reevaluate their customer service training. I will never shop at this Dillard's again. If I do decide to shop at Dillard's, I will drive out of my way to the Frisco location. (That is a big IF) There is way too much competition in the DFW area to put up with the terrible service that I received. read more

I own a Levian ring I purchased at this Dillard's fine jewelry dept in Fairview. I had lost a chocolate diamond so Macys sent my ring into Levian, as there is a lifetime warranty. It came back with the diamond replaced but the jeweler changed the structure of the ring. (It is a cross over type of ring). Levian argued with Macys when they attempted to send it back to be restored to its former shape or structure. In comes fine jewelry mgr. Tammy. She spent two weeks calling, sending photos, even searching the web on her own time at home to convince them of their repair error. They argued with her saying they did not reshape the ring but they clearly had, hence all the pictures and research to show them the error of their way. Finally they took it back and restored it. Whoever is Tammy's manager, you got a good one here, don't let her go! She went over and above for a customer, and that is extremely rare nowadays and was duly noted. Thank you! read more
