What a joke of a store. They wouldn't let me exchange for the correct fitment size. Even though I was with in the 30 day return policy. Will never shop there again. The only reason for this post is because I had to come here for an exchange and it took me over an hour!! A freakn huge department store and it took forever. I was literally sent to 4 different counters...all in the women's dept. it's not like I was returning a dress in the kids or men's dept. and at every counter there was no one to be found. I had. To walk around to find someone ( and you can't tell who was working or a shopper) Finally at the 4th counter there was a huge line, but I waited. 2 employees walked by and chatted with the sales person for leisure conversations, but never thought that they could maybe help out. Found out the person in front of me and the person behind me also got the same crappy treatment by the entire women's dept. The sales rep was apologetic and I told her she doesn't need to be, because you are the only person working and working hard at helping people. Too many dept stores in the mall for me to ever, I mean ever shop at Dillard's again. Even if they have sales, I will never come back bc the crappy service I received. read more

The customer service here is abysmal! I was in the store for 45 minutes and not one sales associate offered to help me. At least 6 sales associates walked by me without saying a word. I even had someone stare at me across the way, but didn't offer any help. The only time someone spoke to me was when I checked out and even then the conversation was minimal. read more

Came to return a dress for my daughter. I approached a staff member who returned my approach with neither a smile nor a friendly word. When it became obvious that her blank stare at me was her way of asking me what I wanted, I explained and she briskly took the dress from my hands without a word. We had all the proper documentation, so no problem with the return. Not bad service, just very unfriendly and unappreciative service. No reason to shop here when there are so many other options. read more

Went to mens store at Lakeline Mall. Stood in the shoe department for 15 minutes until someone appeared and finally helped me. Asked to try on 3 pairs of shoes, had none in my size.A total waste of my time. If you are shopping take this store off your list. read more

Stopped off to buy a dress for wedding and the sales lady made absolutely certain that I was very aware of where the woman's section was. I'm overweight, but at a solid size 14, have trouble finding things that fit in the woman's section. When checking out, as there were no other close registers open, she also made certain to comment on how the dress I bought is nice and flowy, comfortable for all sizes. I know I'm not a rail, you don't need to remind me in such a passive aggressive way, especially as you are a sales woman and representing your store. Don't plan on stepping foot in there for some time, I'll shop in Macys or online from now on. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars! Today was the worst experience I've ever had shopping. So I start off by getting two Nike shirts hoping to try on and purchase, I continue looking for clothes to try on when I notice an employee keeps following me from section to section. I stop to acknowledge her and she says to me "Are you trying that on? You need to tell me if you are" I said "Not yet" and she walks over to other employees and whispers and points at me, (funny enough this is not the first time this employee does this to me) I found this very odd because it was not her section, like there was clearly 3 other employees designated to that section who saw me! So why was it necessary for her to follow me and why did I have to tell her when I wanted to try something on? She continues to do this the whole time im there until I literally just decide to put everything back on the rack because I felt so uncomfortable with her just eyeing me down! I unfortunately had to stay there since my sister was trying on prom dresses, the whole time im sitting on the chair she is circling and staring at me! Which I thought was hilarious because she literally did not do this to any other customer who was walking around with clothes. I felt very violated, harassed, and profiled by this employee. Wow! I'm shocked to have experienced such bad customer service. I went into the shoe department to check out their summer clearance. I found a pair of sandles that I really liked and decided to take them. As I'm checking out the lady charges me more than the price I had seen. Well one shoe had one price and the other a different one. She precedes to tell me it was an error on their part or that someone could have changed the tag?!! She was accusatory and made me feel very uncomfortable and awkward. I didn't catch her name but she's an older woman. There was also a young African American man and he didn't make it any better with his comments. I'm so disappointed and will not shop there anymore. I also called the store manager, Greg and he didn't sound very apologetic or even attempt to make it better. However, he did say that he will contact the shoe department manager, Rachel. I will take my business elsewhere. So sad....I am so glad we live in a city with a lot of choices. I will be driving to the Domain or Barton Creek Mall for all my shopping. read more

We found some good deals today. They usually wait too late in the season for markdowns, but we got lucky today. Their selection was good, as usual. I'm so glad that they still have a children's shoe department and that they carry youth sizes. Too many places stop at youth size 2. read more

I visited 2 of the Dillard's this past Sunday. At the location at Barton Creek Mall I was trying to return/purchase a dress. I asked for a couple pairs of shoes to take with me to the second floor. The salesman gave me the shoes but asked that I leave the boxes behind. Fair enough. The problem was with the sales associate in Womens' Wear. She did very little to assist me (I had met her previously when I was looking for a dress) so I knew what I was up again. Finally, I asked another customer for some advise and she helped me narrow down my choices. She told me as I was leaving that she has problems with that associate, too. The associate never helps her, either. Then I went to the Dillard's at the Domain with the same task in mind. However, when I went to the shoe department, I was told I could only take one shoe with me. The associate on the third floor was surprised that I couldn't bring both shoes with me as the shoes weren't clearance items. With one shoe, it was difficult to gauge the length of the dress without stepping down to my flat foot. It was humiliating and embarrassing. I made calls on Monday to both stores but I 'm not sure what good it may do. I'll not be shopping at these stores in the future. read more

Today my sister and I had to worst experience possible. We've never been so humiliated in our lives. It all started by going to the intimate department, my sister wanted to check out some Calvin Klein sport bras and other items that we saw, we had other items that we had liked in other departments and were planning to try it on after we checked out the intimates. There were 2 ladies working in that department, they addressed to us that we could only try on those items in their dressing room so we were like okay we'll try it on here. I had 5 items and my sisters walked in with 8 items and came out with 8 items. And me with 5. We put the stuff back that we didn't want and walked away to go upstairs because I wanted to exchange some jeans. As soon as we started walking away the African American manager or whoever she was yells at us asking where the other 2 items were? She thought because there were 2 Calvin Klein hangers in her dressing room she was stealing Calvin Klein items. We went back to show her that we didn't have anything and then she continues to take my sister to the fitting room and pretty much harasses her and makes her show her her underwear. Then goes on oh I didn't check the inside of your sports bra??? Like what are you serious, at this point my sister and I are fed up and put hers hands all over her sports bra. Like what I'm sure that is not legal in any way!!!!! first of all, I'm pretty sure it's YOUR JOB AS THE MANAGER to ensure that you fucking clear out the dressing room before anyone goes in. Second of all, it's YOUR JOB when you assume a customer is stealing to be very specific on what the product is and if the customer says no, then you fucking call the cops IF YOU OBSERVED HER STEALING. THIS needs to be addressed and she needs to be reprimanded for her actions. I never been so disgusted in my life. My sister left crying and embarrassed Oh I also forgot to mention that my sister is a MINOR. This person needs to pay for what she did. read more

So a while ago one day after new years day we heard from a family friend that Dillard's has great deals so this year we decided to go. Our cousin had stayed the night with us for new years so we told her to go along with us she was hesitant and didn't want to go but we convinced her.We went and bought some stuff at Dillard's went to another store and decided to go back to Dillard's once the crowd had settled down.As we were paying she noticed that the small plastic Dillard's bag with the shirt and her wallet incide, was gone(she put her wallet incide the bag because it was bugging her and she was afraid it would fall and loose it since it had nearly 700 dollars in it) so we went crazy looking for it for like 15 minutes when we found a mall security guard.We asked him if they could check the surveillance cameras long story short they "found nothing" .so we went to lost and found and costumer service and asked them if they had someone return the bag they said no one did but that they could give me the mall security number and Dillard's number too incase anyone found it because the malls lost and found was closed that day and we were also told that we could return the next day to see if it had been turned in.anyways we returned the next day to look for it in the malls lost and found the lady told us to write down my cousins name and phone number incase anyone found or returned it. We left and we never heard of them again until yesterday when someone in a clinic called my cousin claiming to have gotten the information of someone who claimed to have a bag that belonged to my cousin with her belongings incide of it .So today we decided to call to the number belonging to the supposed finder of the bag after confirming it was my cousins bag we agreed to meet up with the kind lady who had found it.Once there she went on to explain how she was shopping on the day after new years to save a few bucks when then she found a bag containing a shirt and a wallet with loads of money in it and how she was about to turn it in to Dillard's but she didn't trust the workers there so she kept it and gave her phone number to the store instead for them to give to whoever had claimed to loose a bag. So this means while we were asking the store about a lost bag with a wallet incide they were denying the fact that they had information as to where the bag was.and even if she did turn it in after we left the whole mall they could have still told us the very next day that someone has information as to where it was.And then after a while the lady got worried as to why nobody had contacted her after a week.so she called Dillard's AND YET AGAIN THEY DENIED ANYONE HAD ASKED ABOUT A MISSING BAG WITH A WALLET INCIDE .so this lady got tired of it and went a long way to find us something that was Dillard's job but had to be done by a generous bystander instead .So please be careful about this place it really angered us to have had dealt with such ignorance from a place we thought was good. read more
