Stopped in cause I heard this was a Seattle thing. Thought eh maybe it's like In N Out and will surprise me. Actually this is worse than the McDonald's value meal. The cashier was a bit curt. The burger we got was really pretty unremarkable. It said it came with chopped pickles but really it was sweet relish. It said mayo but it was so little it didn't even make it onto the burger so it was rather dry. And who knows how long it had been sitting there. Lastly the floors under where you eat were pretty dirty like caked on. Thank you next.

Quick grab and go burger spot! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Liked that this location had plenty of seating around big windows.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Came to this location only to have their milkshakes because my mouth was feeling some sweets after an event. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is an indoor version of Dick's that most Seattleites are not used to seeing if they go to or even pass the Cap Hill location a few times; there's seating around the walls and the front counter has several registers and houses the kitchen.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It will get really noisy in here the more people there are.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was actually quite slow given tons of people came from the event and formed several lines up front. I just got their strawberry milkshake since I wasn't hungry. Nothing special, it was a decent size cup and I was satisfied for the most part. It was on the borderline of being too sweet and just right, but that doesn't really matter if your mouth's feeling dry and needs some liquid or something close to it. I do need to get their burgers again though, be it at this location or any of their other ones.

There isn't much I can add to the many positive comments but I will say this, they have the meats. At first I was skeptical of the limit placed on customizations BUT if you like meat and cheese, then this will bring you vibes of peace and love.

    fries so crispy

First and foremost they make the food hot and fresh before your card even hits the card reader. Extremely swift service with a positive attitude. I had the pleasure of getting the Dick's deluxe burger with a side of ketchup and fries. The grand total came out to $9.67! Not too bad for a fast food restaurant and pretty cheap in comparison to other burger joints like five guys. The overall quality of burger was truly impressive. There was a sweet tang to the pickles and onions that was remarkable. If you have the opportunity to try this gem of a spot ... do it !!

Went during a weekday in the late lunch period and this location was almost empty with instant service. I feel like this place is a staple in Seattle, so I definitely wanted to visit at least once. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like that this location had seating along the perimeter with bar stools.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The burgers themselves were ok, nothing too special but I do love relish which I feel like is most of the flavor of the burger. Fries aren't the crispy kind but tasted pretty good. They do charge extra for condiments like onion and ketchup.

Dick's Drive In is something of a local legend. I love their burgers and they are generally quick, consistently good and near free price wise. I've been to every one of them more times than I can count. Except this one... [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is the only one with a public interior too. Along the edge there is barstool seating and the middle area reserved for long lines.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But back to my order of a deluxe. The lettuce, non-existent. What was there had wilted to nothing. The salt... One bite and I had to throw it away. It was truly inedible. I've never had this happen at a Dick's.

Stopped by for a quick bit of a double patty with cheese, fries and some pop. Having been here years ago I knew the portions were small but wanted something to tide me over before dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very casual with the usual local Seattle characters with seating facing the Queen Anne street and seeing the homeless taking cover on the opposite corner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Fulfilling affordable burger. Amazing fries. Ready fast. Spacious waiting area. (watch out Californians it's cheaper than in n out)

Burger was good, though I will admit, I'm not a fan of relish. I did enjoy the chocolate shake very much! And the fries were great too! Quick service, menu and staff at the counter were easy to read and quick to order from

Burger and diet soda (no sugar tax)

We stayed at the hotel across the street and got in from a delayed flight to Seattle kinda late, around 9 at night and saw this place open for dinner. Fast and friendly but food not anything to write home about. The burgers were small and dry. My son did like the fries. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself is big and open with only seating around the perimeter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Many people were taking their food to go, including us. Food was cheap so that was a plus but what surprised us out of Towners was the sugar tax for nondiet beverages. A quick google search informed us it's been in place since 2018 and has actually reduced the amount of sugary drinks sold since then so it seems to be working if Seattle wants to cut their sugar intake!

    Emily M.

This place is good for the late night eats when you need something filling, sloppy good and affordable. I've had my fair share of dicks lol and it doesn't disappoint. The location is near the space needle and climate pledge so good location however parking can be a bear. We did get a nice parking spot so can't complain. The one thing I would complain about is the non-diet soda tax! WHAaaaaaAT?!? When did this happen?!? since I don't drink pop I'm OK with it but still... Seattle... wow! It def lives up to it its name and nice to see they have been in biz forever!

    Jessica S.

It's Dicks! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great food, service, and ambiance as always![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love supporting them and this location is great.

About a minute after getting my drink, I took a sip and was surprised that it was cold--not even lukewarm, but actually cold. I didn't go back to ask for a remake because there were several people in line behind me and I didn't want to wait. Instead, I ended up microwaving it when I got back to my Airbnb. The latte itself was decent and had a strong espresso flavor, but the mocha syrup was way too sweet for my taste. I think it would have been much better if it had been about half as sweet. The price was also pretty high for a 12 oz latte. The customer service was disappointing. The young woman who helped me came across as rude and seemed like she didn't want to be there. That's especially unfortunate for a business located in the middle of a major tourist area. As for the drink, I'm not sure how a hot latte ends up being served cold, but it definitely shouldn't happen. I also sampled the tiramisu gelato, which was overly sweet and didn't taste very authentic. Overall, I regret spending the time, money, and calories here. There are too many great coffee shops in Seattle to settle for an experience like this.

I am sure on summer evenings this place is insanely busy, but on a Monday at approximately 2PM, I didn't wait in a line at all. They had fun summer flavors such as apricot crisp, blueberry cheesecake, cherry chunk, and strawberry sorbet. I tried two different flavors, and both were delicious. Both flavors were extremely creamy, even the fruity flavored ones. I started with the strawberry sorbet. It was refreshing. The strawberry really shined through and was extremely fresh tasting. I feel like strawberry flavoring can sometimes come off as artificial, but I did not have that experience with this ice cream. The second flavor I sample, and my favorite one of the day was the honey lavender. It felt like you were walking through an organic lavender field.
