Stopped by after an event at the Seattle Center. Walked iver- they have a parking lot but sometimes difficult to get in/ out. As always the location has security. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Limited inferior seating and some customers tend to homestead instead of being courteous and move on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Line went fast. 2 Dicks Deluxe, two fries, small soft drink and chocolate shake. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Didn't take long and I was able to secure two chairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hamburgers were hot/ fresh. Fries were good (one hot, one warm). Wife loves their shakes. Overall, good experience. Just meh. It's just an average burger that does not allow any additions or removals. The fries are too soggy for me and they fill their cups at about 75% ice. Only I kept reading online that this place came highly recommended. My hopes were a bit too high. Came here after a late night flight and I heard this place was iconic among the locals. I really like how affordable this place was and there was plenty of parking. Deluxe burger (5/5): I'm not a pickles guys, so I was disappointed they could not make substitutions. However I thought it really enhances the flavor and I was so glad it was not subbed out. It wasn't innout but it was still packed with flavor. Definitely recommend this for a late night spot read more

Stopped in cause I heard this was a Seattle thing. Thought eh maybe it's like In N Out and will surprise me. Actually this is worse than the McDonald's value meal. The cashier was a bit curt. The burger we got was really pretty unremarkable. It said it came with chopped pickles but really it was sweet relish. It said mayo but it was so little it didn't even make it onto the burger so it was rather dry. And who knows how long it had been sitting there. Came to this location only to have their milkshakes because my mouth was feeling some sweets after an event. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is an indoor version of Dick's that most Seattleites are not used to seeing if they go to or even pass the Cap Hill location a few times; there's seating around the walls and the front counter has several registers and houses the kitchen.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It will get really noisy in here the more people there are.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was actually quite slow given tons of people came from the event and formed several lines up front. I just got their strawberry milkshake since I wasn't hungry. Nothing special, it was a decent size cup and I was satisfied for the most part. It was on the borderline of being too sweet and just right, but that doesn't really matter if your mouth's feeling dry and needs some liquid or something close to it. I do need to get their burgers again though, be it at this location or any of their other ones. read more

First and foremost they make the food hot and fresh before your card even hits the card reader. Extremely swift service with a positive attitude. I had the pleasure of getting the Dick's deluxe burger with a side of ketchup and fries. The grand total came out to $9.67! Not too bad for a fast food restaurant and pretty cheap in comparison to other burger joints like five guys. The overall quality of burger was truly impressive. There was a sweet tang to the pickles and onions that was remarkable. If you have the opportunity to try this gem of a spot ... do it !! read more

Went during a weekday in the late lunch period and this location was almost empty with instant service. I feel like this place is a staple in Seattle, so I definitely wanted to visit at least once. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like that this location had seating along the perimeter with bar stools.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The burgers themselves were ok, nothing too special but I do love relish which I feel like is most of the flavor of the burger. Dick's Drive In is something of a local legend. I love their burgers and they are generally quick, consistently good and near free price wise. I've been to every one of them more times than I can count. Except this one... [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is the only one with a public interior too. Along the edge there is barstool seating and the middle area reserved for long lines.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But back to my order of a deluxe. The lettuce, non-existent. What was there had wilted to nothing. The salt... One bite and I had to throw it away. It was truly inedible. I've never had this happen at a Dick's. read more

We stayed at the hotel across the street and got in from a delayed flight to Seattle kinda late, around 9 at night and saw this place open for dinner. Fast and friendly but food not anything to write home about. The burgers were small and dry. My son did like the fries. Food was cheap so that was a plus but what surprised us out of Towners was the sugar tax for nondiet beverages. A quick google search informed us it's been in place since 2018 and has actually reduced the amount of sugary drinks sold since then so it seems to be working if Seattle wants to cut their sugar intake! read more

The burgers are a great deal and adequately priced for the portion. The burgers can be plain or if it is the special, all come with chopped lettuce and chopped pickles...so if you are not a fan of pickles you may need to get the plain. If you want customized you have to wait. The huckleberry ice cream was special as that kind of flavor we have not had before... definitely recommend if you have kids with you. read more

This place is good for the late night eats when you need something filling, sloppy good and affordable. I've had my fair share of dicks lol and it doesn't disappoint. The location is near the space needle and climate pledge so good location however parking can be a bear. We did get a nice parking spot so can't complain. The one thing I would complain about is the non-diet soda tax! WHAaaaaaAT?!? When did this happen?!? since I don't drink pop I'm OK with it but still... Seattle... wow! It def lives up to it its name and nice to see they have been in biz forever! read more

I go here pretty often considering I work within the vicinity. All of the staff always smile and are very nice when placing your order. The food is very quick where you don't even have to leave after placing your order which is a huge plus when in a hurry. Whenever I need a late-night meal in Seattle, I know I have to go to Dick's Drive-In! On my most recent visit, we stopped by here just past midnight coming back to Seattle from a long road trip. It was still packed with hungry customers! I ordered the Deluxe Burger and fries. The prices are super cheap, only 8$ (at the time of this review) for the burger + fries. The burger isn't made to order, it's already wrapped up in its shiny McDonald's-esque aluminum wrapper when you order. The deluxe comes with two patties, cheese, lettuce, mayo, and pickle relish. If I'm being honest, the burger reminds me a lot like a nostalgic McDonald's cheeseburger -- the bun is kind of soggy from steaming in it's wrapper, and the patty is rubbery and not that flavorful. I do like the flavor of the pickle relish and sauce, as well as adding raw chopped onions (+20 cents) for that extra bite. The fries are super limp, but I actually like them. They're well-salted and have a delicious distinct potato flavor. Be sure to get an extra side of tartar sauce to dip the fries in for that Pacific Northwest experience! Sorry Seattleites, Dick's Drive-In doesn't hold a candle to In-N-Out in terms of burger quality, but I think it's amazing for what it is: cheap but decent fast-food burgers and fries that's open late at night when you most need it. read more

Whomever the done deaf douche canoe is who came here with three stars needs to go find his or her-self a vegan cage free soy burger somewhere else. Dicks is an institution of delicious cholesterol flavored cheese burgers and well paid staff. I finally tried Dick's. Starving on 11 PM on a Thursday night. Was about $3 for a cheeseburger. It was strangely incredible - soft spongey bun with thin flavorful salty patty and melty savoury American cheese. Small, like almost slider size. Fries were limp and salty, obviously made with real potatoes. Burgers are just sitting on a heater so they give it to you right away. Trip Report: This was a NO for me!!What in the McDonald's was that? My hubby's deluxe was flat like my cheeseburger! Chile, they had me paying for ketchup, like I was in Europe! I was in the car doing build-a-burger, trying to put my side order of onions on my burger! McDonald's, Checkers, Burger King, Wendy's for the win! 5 Guys, BurgerFi, & The Habit for the ultimate! Dick's is a Seattle staple! You'll often find crowds lining up at Dick's after a night out in Capitol Hill or after an event at Climate Pledge Arena at this location in Lower Queen Anne. I ordered the Dicks deluxe ($5.30) and the side of fries ($2.80). They premake their burgers and leave them wrapped and warm, but the steam softens the burger and melts the cheese into deliciousness. The fries are not crispy but they are well-seasoned and don't even need ketchup. This location is open late so you'll often find long crowds here after an event at the nearby venue. The lines to order can be a little confusing because there are two counters and during busy times the lines will go to the back of the store and curl. There are no places to sit down and eat but there are counters around the exterior of the store to stand. read more

Service is super fast and not customization and food is made in advance and continuously and is ready to go. Any add-ons are on the side. It's a nice size location but there is no indoor seating just a massive open space that you could do some ballroom dancing in. You're better off going to a McDonald's, at least they have a place to sit. Also they charge 20 cents for ketchup which is just strange to me Cheeseburger patty was thin and salty, I actually think the pile of cheese on top was thicker. Bun was covered in grease and my husbands deluxe was equally disappointing. I'll give them points for how quickly they get the food out. I didn't love watching my cashier use his bare hands all over the lid on our milk shakes though. The shakes taste like they came straight from McDonald's too. read more

Average across the board. My brother raves about this place and said it was a must visit while in Seattle. Inside is bare bones, but I'll say the service was super friendly and the bathrooms were very clean given the needle storage containers propped against the wall. We got the cheeseburger and fries. Tasted like a McDonalds cheeseburger, which was fine. The fries were okay; mushy but still has a slight crisp and nice saltiness to them. I wouldn't come back, but definitely worth one visit. read more

Stopped in this Dicks to double dip on the $0.19 burger day after the latest Yelp event for some burgers. In my party of 4 I proudly exclaimed "I got this", as I stepped up to the counter and order 4 cheeseburgers, and two orders of fries. The Dicks order taker stopped me and said, "sorry one per customer. " I gestured to my crew behind me and he quickly changed to "oh my apologies! " and quickly went over to get the burgers. Came to a little lest than $3.50. They were wrapped up tight and nice and hot. Even better than the previous $0.19 visit I made a couple days ago at Dicks Wallingford. The fries taste fine but some were a bit limpy is my only gripe. Also how they charge you for ketchup. $0.20, it's even more than the burgers on $0.19 burger day! C'mon! They handled the crowd here well and this Dicks has a slight advantage over the others as it is indoors, perhaps the only indoor Dicks, so if it's cold out, it's more appealing. read more

This is a workin Dick's. You're not gonna get tables and chairs in the dining room except for the bar top along the windows because they need that room for big lineups after the hockey games and concerts in this Queen Anne area. What they lack for an ambience and atmosphere is still there in the great service and the delicious simple burgers. I paid extra for onions this time because I had never done it before and they tasted old and not that great. Didn't really eat them. The ketchup was worth it for dipping those fries into And man, the deluxe burger is just pretty dang delicious. Couldn't imagine putting a shake on top of it, but I did notice that they were a small sensible size perfect for pairing with this meal. I grabbed this meal before I went to SIFF cinema across the street, it had been after many years. Glad I check back in. read more

I haven't been to this Dick's since pre-pandemic and was sad that there was no seating available inside like there once was. We didn't order anything crazy and was able to still eat our burgers and fries inside. We just had to stand by the window where they have little ledges available to place your food. All in all, it was a good experience. Good customer service, fast turnaround time from ordering to receiving our order, and not busy. It's a convenient place to grab something cheap and fast in the Queen Anne area. It is right outside the Climate Pledge Areana. read more

That's especially unfortunate for a business located in the middle of a major tourist area. As for the drink, I'm not sure how a hot latte ends up being served cold, but it definitely shouldn't happen. I also sampled the tiramisu gelato, which was overly sweet and didn't taste very authentic. Overall, I regret spending the time, money, and calories here. There are too many great coffee shops in Seattle to settle for an experience like this.

No introduction, no recommendations, no plates cleared. When I asked for something as simple as pepper, I got attitude, like I was putting her out. I typically tip 25%. I left 15% and honestly felt that was generous for what I received. At these prices, the food needs to be executed properly and the service needs to match. The chowder alone isn't enough to carry a $60+ meal. Would I come back? Maybe for a cup of chowder at the bar. Not for the full experience.

We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
