Just meh. It's just an average burger that does not allow any additions or removals. The fries are too soggy for me and they fill their cups at about 75% ice. Only I kept reading online that this place came highly recommended. My hopes were a bit too high. The restaurant itself is a bit weird as you could only sit at counters going around the restaurant. It seems like they may have had tables before and removed them all?

Stopped in cause I heard this was a Seattle thing. Thought eh maybe it's like In N Out and will surprise me. Actually this is worse than the McDonald's value meal. The cashier was a bit curt. The burger we got was really pretty unremarkable. It said it came with chopped pickles but really it was sweet relish. It said mayo but it was so little it didn't even make it onto the burger so it was rather dry. And who knows how long it had been sitting there. Lastly the floors under where you eat were pretty dirty like caked on. Thank you next.

Came here after a late night flight and I heard this place was iconic among the locals. I really like how affordable this place was and there was plenty of parking. Deluxe burger (5/5): I'm not a pickles guys, so I was disappointed they could not make substitutions. However I thought it really enhances the flavor and I was so glad it was not subbed out. It wasn't innout but it was still packed with flavor. Definitely recommend this for a late night spot

Came to this location only to have their milkshakes because my mouth was feeling some sweets after an event. This is an indoor version of Dick's that most Seattleites are not used to seeing if they go to or even pass the Cap Hill location a few times; there's seating around the walls and the front counter has several registers and houses the kitchen. It will get really noisy in here the more people there are. Service was actually quite slow given tons of people came from the event and formed several lines up front. I just got their strawberry milkshake since I wasn't hungry. Nothing special, it was a decent size cup and I was satisfied for the most part. It was on the borderline of being too sweet and just right, but that doesn't really matter if your mouth's feeling dry and needs some liquid or something close to it. I do need to get their burgers again though, be it at this location or any of their other ones.

Quick grab and go burger spot! Liked that this location had plenty of seating around big windows.

There isn't much I can add to the many positive comments but I will say this, they have the meats. At first I was skeptical of the limit placed on customizations BUT if you like meat and cheese, then this will bring you vibes of peace and love.

First and foremost they make the food hot and fresh before your card even hits the card reader. Extremely swift service with a positive attitude. I had the pleasure of getting the Dick's deluxe burger with a side of ketchup and fries. The grand total came out to $9.67! Not too bad for a fast food restaurant and pretty cheap in comparison to other burger joints like five guys. The overall quality of burger was truly impressive. There was a sweet tang to the pickles and onions that was remarkable. If you have the opportunity to try this gem of a spot ... do it !!

Went during a weekday in the late lunch period and this location was almost empty with instant service. I feel like this place is a staple in Seattle, so I definitely wanted to visit at least once. I like that this location had seating along the perimeter with bar stools. The burgers themselves were ok, nothing too special but I do love relish which I feel like is most of the flavor of the burger. Fries aren't the crispy kind but tasted pretty good. They do charge extra for condiments like onion and ketchup.

Dick's Drive In is something of a local legend. I love their burgers and they are generally quick, consistently good and near free price wise. I've been to every one of them more times than I can count. Except this one... It is the only one with a public interior too. Along the edge there is barstool seating and the middle area reserved for long lines. But back to my order of a deluxe. The lettuce, non-existent. What was there had wilted to nothing. The salt... One bite and I had to throw it away. It was truly inedible. I've never had this happen at a Dick's.

Stopped by for a quick bit of a double patty with cheese, fries and some pop. Having been here years ago I knew the portions were small but wanted something to tide me over before dinner. Very casual with the usual local Seattle characters with seating facing the Queen Anne street and seeing the homeless taking cover on the opposite corner.

Fulfilling affordable burger. Amazing fries. Ready fast. Spacious waiting area. (watch out Californians it's cheaper than in n out)

Burger was good, though I will admit, I'm not a fan of relish. I did enjoy the chocolate shake very much! And the fries were great too! Quick service, menu and staff at the counter were easy to read and quick to order from

Burger and diet soda (no sugar tax)

We stayed at the hotel across the street and got in from a delayed flight to Seattle kinda late, around 9 at night and saw this place open for dinner. Fast and friendly but food not anything to write home about. The burgers were small and dry. My son did like the fries. The place itself is big and open with only seating around the perimeter. Many people were taking their food to go, including us. Food was cheap so that was a plus but what surprised us out of Towners was the sugar tax for nondiet beverages. A quick google search informed us it's been in place since 2018 and has actually reduced the amount of sugary drinks sold since then so it seems to be working if Seattle wants to cut their sugar intake!

The restaurant itself leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm not asking too much. I believe the owner said he was trying to revamp the place. I hope that the area comes alive in the future years, that should help. Here's the issue though, this is the slowest spot ever. I've waited 30 minutes for fries - FRIES. I don't mind waiting for food, but it should remain reasonable. There were only two or three people working, and one man did tell us this, but I need to be honest - this was on Super Bowl Sunday. No one was able to get anyone a beer from the tap for 40 minutes, the food took forever and it appeared that online orders were being prioritized (which makes sense, you make as you get orders coming in, but that puts your in person customers in an odd and sometimes frustrating position). To be honest, I probably wouldn't have minded as much if I just had some fries to snack on. I didn't mind as much this one time because I was just happy to find a place to watch the Super Bowl Half Time show, but other days, it's a little hard to look past. I wish this business the best, I live too close to not hope for its improvement! Looking forward to updating my review. At the end of the day, if you're hungry, it's late, this is your spot.

There was no garlic at all, but what I did get was a pretty large appetizer that did its job and more. The main dish, the hotstone beef bibimbap, was a lot worse. Firstly, this came with ground beef rather than the beef slices I was expecting. The rice at the bottom was dry like it should be in a clay pot, but lacking really any of that slightly-burnt, hard qualities that makes a clay pot rice what it is. It just tasted dry. But the ground beef was probably the worst part. It was dry, lacking in really any seasoning, and the portion was tiny. I'd finished the beef with still half the bowl remaining. This was not a bibimbap I would come back to at all. Overall, there are way too many better places in the international district for me to ever recommend this. 5/10

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. It's not my favorite Hawaiian by any stretch, but it definitely does the job for visitors to the food hall. Since the seating can be a little limited at lunch time, the first challenge is just simply finding a spot to sit. Avoiding the peak lunch hour is recommended, but this probably be better if traveling in a group. When in doubt, take it to-go. Teriyaki chicken ($14) is one of their most popular dishes and an obvious nod to Seattle's thriving scene. Their katsu loco moco ($16) is hearty with the gravy, but sometimes a bit too heavy with the green onions. Personally, I'm a fan of the kalua pork ($13.50) and the spam and eggs ($11.50), but the garlic shrimp ($18) was a bit lackluster. They also serve burgers, which are actually a bit underrated. Their double cheeseburger ($11) features nice size patties with a goop of American cheese. The musubi is nearly $4 each, but are also mini-bricks of spam and rice. Lastly, it doesn't take much to realize the prices might feel a bit high here. They're even higher on the website, which i would recommend using for most folks, but recently I noticed various selections are listed for hundreds of dollars each. Unless this is a catering order, it's just another example of another oversight. ____________ (#1) Uwajimaya is dope: https://www.yelp.com/biz/uwajimaya-seattle
