fries so crispy
Emily N.

First and foremost they make the food hot and fresh before your card even hits the card reader. Extremely swift service with a positive attitude. I had the pleasure of getting the Dick's deluxe burger with a side of ketchup and fries. The grand total came out to $9.67! Not too bad for a fast food restaurant and pretty cheap in comparison to other burger joints like five guys. The overall quality of burger was truly impressive. There was a sweet tang to the pickles and onions that was remarkable. If you have the opportunity to try this gem of a spot ... do it !!

Dick's Drive In is something of a local legend. I love their burgers and they are generally quick, consistently good and near free price wise. I've been to every one of them more times than I can count. Except this one... It is the only one with a public interior too. Along the edge there is barstool seating and the middle area reserved for long lines. But back to my order of a deluxe. The lettuce, non-existent. What was there had wilted to nothing. The salt... One bite and I had to throw it away. It was truly inedible. I've never had this happen at a Dick's.

Went during a weekday in the late lunch period and this location was almost empty with instant service. I feel like this place is a staple in Seattle, so I definitely wanted to visit at least once. I like that this location had seating along the perimeter with bar stools. The burgers themselves were ok, nothing too special but I do love relish which I feel like is most of the flavor of the burger. Fries aren't the crispy kind but tasted pretty good. They do charge extra for condiments like onion and ketchup.

Stopped by for a quick bit of a double patty with cheese, fries and some pop. Having been here years ago I knew the portions were small but wanted something to tide me over before dinner. Very casual with the usual local Seattle characters with seating facing the Queen Anne street and seeing the homeless taking cover on the opposite corner.

Burger was good, though I will admit, I'm not a fan of relish. I did enjoy the chocolate shake very much! And the fries were great too! Quick service, menu and staff at the counter were easy to read and quick to order from

Burger and diet soda (no sugar tax)

We stayed at the hotel across the street and got in from a delayed flight to Seattle kinda late, around 9 at night and saw this place open for dinner. Fast and friendly but food not anything to write home about. The burgers were small and dry. My son did like the fries. The place itself is big and open with only seating around the perimeter. Many people were taking their food to go, including us. Food was cheap so that was a plus but what surprised us out of Towners was the sugar tax for nondiet beverages. A quick google search informed us it's been in place since 2018 and has actually reduced the amount of sugary drinks sold since then so it seems to be working if Seattle wants to cut their sugar intake!

This place is good for the late night eats when you need something filling, sloppy good and affordable. I've had my fair share of dicks lol and it doesn't disappoint. The location is near the space needle and climate pledge so good location however parking can be a bear. We did get a nice parking spot so can't complain. The one thing I would complain about is the non-diet soda tax! WHAaaaaaAT?!? When did this happen?!? since I don't drink pop I'm OK with it but still... Seattle... wow! It def lives up to it its name and nice to see they have been in biz forever!

Fulfilling affordable burger. Amazing fries. Ready fast. Spacious waiting area. (watch out Californians it's cheaper than in n out)

It's Dicks! Great food, service, and ambiance as always! Love supporting them and this location is great.

Whenever I need a late-night meal in Seattle, I know I have to go to Dick's Drive-In! On my most recent visit, we stopped by here just past midnight coming back to Seattle from a long road trip. It was still packed with hungry customers! I ordered the Deluxe Burger and fries. The prices are super cheap, only 8$ (at the time of this review) for the burger + fries. The burger isn't made to order, it's already wrapped up in its shiny McDonald's-esque aluminum wrapper when you order. The deluxe comes with two patties, cheese, lettuce, mayo, and pickle relish. If I'm being honest, the burger reminds me a lot like a nostalgic McDonald's cheeseburger -- the bun is kind of soggy from steaming in it's wrapper, and the patty is rubbery and not that flavorful. I do like the flavor of the pickle relish and sauce, as well as adding raw chopped onions (+20 cents) for that extra bite. The fries are super limp, but I actually like them. They're well-salted and have a delicious distinct potato flavor. Be sure to get an extra side of tartar sauce to dip the fries in for that Pacific Northwest experience! Sorry Seattleites, Dick's Drive-In doesn't hold a candle to In-N-Out in terms of burger quality, but I think it's amazing for what it is: cheap but decent fast-food burgers and fries that's open late at night when you most need it.

Cookie Dough Ice Cream Sundae with hot fudge

We had to try burgers from Dick's while we were in Seattle and we weren't disappointed! The patties are pretty small and it's not the most filling burger but you really can't beat it for the $3 price! The ice cream sundae was absolutely delicious, they don't skimp on the hot fudge.

No soup for you!

Dicks burgers are perfect after a night out on the town to drink your feelings to the bottle of sour mash whiskey while fighting space cowboys in the world of tech. Whomever the done deaf douche canoe is who came here with three stars needs to go find his or her-self a vegan cage free soy burger somewhere else. Dicks is an institution of delicious cholesterol flavored cheese burgers and well paid staff. Seriously these employees seems to always be happy or maybe the smell of all this delights them to push through the pain of hours on their feet. Dicks is old school good burgers and I guess I will have to keep coming back to remind the children what a great burger is. Three triple cheese burgers with chilli and a side of tater tots for the win.

One of the only places you can still get cheap good fast food. This location gets very busy due to being right beside climate pledge. The cashiers are very fast at taking your order. There is only bar seating across the edge of the restaurant. A Seattle classic you can't beat.

While visiting downtown Seattle on business from Florida, I was looking for a good, reliable lunch…read morespot and ended up at Potbelly Sandwich Works three days in a row during our lunch break. That alone should say a lot. On my first day, I ordered the Regular Cuban Sandwich, and it was a great choice. The bread was perfectly toasted, the ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were well-balanced and satisfying. It set the tone for the rest of my visits. What made the experience even better was the service. An employee took the time to recommend the Italian Sandwich for my next visit, and I'm glad I followed that suggestion. I went back the next day and tried it, and it was outstanding. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were bold, and everything was put together with care. It was so good that I ordered the Italian again on my third day, and the quality was just as incredible. Across all three visits, the consistency, freshness, and friendly service really stood out. It's not easy to find a place that delivers that level of quality day after day. If you're in downtown Seattle and need a dependable, delicious lunch option, Potbelly Sandwich Works is definitely worth it.

I was expecting a great sandwich, but sadly the sandwich wasn't anything special. Basically like going to any average large chain, but I didn't feel full at all afterward and the price was high. I wouldn't recommend going to this specific location, and I have a feeling they'd all be similar with their flavor and sizes since it's a chain. You might find better staff somewhere else though. But yeah, don't bother with this location.
