    Sausage Hogie

Dried Sausage Hogie, over cooked, burnt peices, waste of money. 3rd time trying this place, and it just get worst. Coleslaw get delivered warm. All kinds of health concerns with this place. Done

I had a buy one get one free coupon and decided to stop into this Dickie's location. The employees offered their suggestion to upgrade one of my sides to a loaded giant baked potato. I appreciated the suggestion and was almost convinced to try it; but the baked potato casserole was calling my name. I will keep the loaded baked potato in mind for next time! (Additional $2 for the upgrade) My son got a side of waffle fries (I had to snag one fry, of course) and they tasted freshly fried. Perfect crisp and saltiness to them. I always enjoy a free ice cream cone after my hearty bbq meal. If you're feeling spunky & bought one of their BIG YELLOW CUPS you can turn your ice cream cone into a root beer float! Mmmmm mmmm!

Late day for my hubby and dinner was not happening on this rainy evening. So right by his job, there's a new Dickey's location. Perfect for tonight. I knew exactly what I wanted... their bbq ribs. They're my favorite. Today they were exceedingly tender and juicy. Which is the only way for me. No smoke flavor. That's one thing I can not eat, ever. When the actual smoke flavor is all you smell and taste. No thanks. Today it was great. My hubby has the three meat option. The chicken, the ribs and the brisket. Personally, we think they could have given him one more rib, one doesn't seem fair for the combo. But either way, it was delicious and I wasn't able to finish my portion so I knew he'd end up with a couple of my ribs. By the way, I opted for the Texas toast they have right now. Might be limited time. We definitely will return. The sides are always yummy and hot. My Mac and cheese was perfect and my potatoes were just right.

We've been to this location before and didn't have any issues. We came by today and are leaving disappointed. The soda machine is out of half the beverage options, they have an employee handing out ice from a bowl, out of forks, brisket was too fatty, the rolls were hard, the ice cream cones were stale and taste rancid.

    Brunt ends.

I have to say I wasn't impressed. In fact I really don't care for their BBQ. Ordered the brunt end and they were dry, hard, cold and tasteless. I don't think I will be back. Sorry.

Medium Caesar salad with dressing from my fridge since it only came with roughly a tablespoon worth of dressing

We ordered from here and it was pretty good. The delivery was great and the food was packed well accept I wish they'd pack the BBQ containers in a separate bag. One busted open and got on everything but luckily didn't get into the salad so it wasn't that big a deal. The sandwiches were good, BBQ beans where very good, the Mac n cheese was ok. My biggest complaint is the salad. My husband got a small side one and I got a medium salad. We both got less than half of the tiny containers of dressing. Luckily we had some on hand so I guess that was ok. But the lettuce was pretty gross. I picked out several pieces of black or brown lettuce. I ate around that but I had to look over every single bite before eating it which is tedious and annoying. All and all it was pretty good. Just a few issues that unfortunately were big enough to make it less than enjoyable. Salad is my favorite part of any meal so I was pretty bummed at the gross lettuce and dressing from my own fridge.

    Wednesday Special.

You know the feeling you get after you finish getting a good massage and it's time for you to put your on shirt and leave? Getting some good BBQ gives me the same feeling except I'm only slightly ashamed afterwards. Hah! Dickey's is a decent BBQ place. I got the Wednesday Special and it was spectacular. The meat was cooked perfectly. It gave me the fuel I needed to go on a beer run aftewards. #MeEatMeat So come here for some reasonably priced eats without all the fancy frills.

As I write this review, I will remind you that we are smack dead in the middle of the Coronavirus Pandemic. We love the area we live in and want to support our local businesses. At the time of this review, Dickey's BBQ Pit is only offering Takeout & Delivery. I ordered the Rib dinner platter and the food was nothing short of amazing. The sauce they use is perfect (not too sweet) and the Ribs were fall off the bone great. We had Potato Salad/Macaroni & Cheese as sides, and both very good. We don't know what lies ahead during these strange times, but Dickey's is an awesome Restaurant with excellent food and a great staff (I believe the person I spoke with was Carla). I Highly recommended Dickey's BBQ and will be back for more very soon!

Oh--and a kale tonic drink to feel responsible, plus iced coffee because balance. Everything? Absolutely delicious. Not one weak link. We ended up sharing everything and still had more than enough food for two people--which is rare unless you accidentally order for a family of four like we did. The real problem now is we've seen the rest of the menu... and we want all of it. So yeah, we're definitely coming back with a better strategy (and probably more stomach capacity). Staff was super attentive, our waiter was phenomenal, and the whole modern farmhouse vibe is actually really well done--clean, bright, and "Instagram-but-not-trying-too-hard." Also, underrated detail: the bathrooms. Four individual private units instead of the usual awkward stall situation. Huge win. Final verdict: great food, great service, great vibe. Downstairs host was nice, asked if we wanted to eat upstairs or down. We decided upstairs. They just told us to head up and talk with the host. We went up. Someone from the bar did shout hi! There was no host seen. There was a handful of workers chatting at the bar even the downstairs host came up and walked by us to join the group chatting. Upstairs had 2 tables of 6-10 people, a handful of small parties outside. We stood there for 4-5 minutes before someone in a St. Patrick's day outfit running food said someone would be with us shortly. Waited another few minutes before the host emerged from the bathroom and sat us. Both my husband and I waited tables and I bartended before (10 years experience). We have a lot of patience and understanding. We were sat and not immediately greeted but a woman came up and quickly dropped water off. Her body language was dismissive and only said just "dropping off water". I really thought it might have been another host or busser, that was tired of getting mistaken for a sever. I brushed it off. We waited so much longer before our server (happened to be the same girl that dropped off the water) came back to take our drink order. She was cold and didn't make eye contact. She was very short with us. Left to put the drink order in. She did bring the kids their soft drinks, but again with an attitude. It was as if we were ruining her day by coming in. 10 min went by. In that time, we saw her walk by and again avoid eye contact. Not even a "your bar drinks are being made", or "I am just going to run these dishes back and come back to take your order. " A really nice bartender came back and started talking with us about baseball because we were coming from a spring training game. After waiting longer and still no sign our server was going to come back in a timely manner, I told my husband, that I would rather leave now and not let this server ruin our experience. There are plenty of places around that I would rather give my money too and they will treat us better. We left, on our way out we did let a manager know. They did apologized and asked where we were sitting. Two stars for the nice female bartender that was decked out in St. Patrick's day attire upstairs. Rating is strictly for service because we didn't get to try anything. I am willing to give this place another try. I will update my review if we do.

The place is right out of a movie (maybe "Roadhouse" or "Urban Cowboy minus the mechanical bull). It's part biker bar, part honky Tonk, pub, and cocktail bar. We came for the burgers and were not disappointed. They were absolutely solid and worth it in every way. The nice, fresh beef patty was grilled to perfection and set in a soft bun with all the usual trimmings. I'd recommend you add thousand island for an extra touch of goodness. The resulting burger was juicy and meaty and drippy and excellent. It was not a throwaway "bar-food" item. The menu has a lot of great things in it, including sandwiches and all manner of comfort food and bar staples. A big surprise were the onion rings and ranch dressing. They were some of the best I'd had in a while. I found them better than the fries which were fairly standard. Others have complained about the service, but ours was really good at lunchtime on a weekday. Our server was also the bartender, and she was attentive and nice, albeit busy with all the workers that frequent this joint. It's filled with a mix of blue-collar, cops, office people, truckers, bikers, and just plain folks. And they play some great songs on the jukebox. Definitely worth it. And try one of the burger variations on the menu (with bacon or mushrooms, avocado, etc).
