The entire building smells like sewage. 2 stars because the kid was nice. Messy disheveled poorly constructed burgers. The place was dead and one of the burgers was completely wrong. More employees than customers (no exaggeration) I let them know about the incorrect burger, they proceeded to make another one and they still missed the bacon on my BACON CHEESEBURGER. There's too much competition in the area to mess up this bad. Do better guys! People work hard for their money. Overall I found the quality to be poor for the price. Horrible!!!! Let's starts with a 15 minute wait in drive thru. Prices are outrageous for the quality and presentation of the food. $35 for a double bacon cheese burger with cheese fries and a drink and a single bacon cheeseburger. Disappointed the burger came with no condiments and fries were cheese less. It is a new location everything on the out side looks nice but looks are definetly deceiving. Not many options to choose from. Just avoid at all cause better chance of getting more food from sprouts across the way for the money they charge read more

I had the pleasure of going here before the official opening. I was excited to try the French onion soup burger because I do like me some French onion soup. For my side I ordered onion rings. Service was a little slow but they were in training so I expected that and it didn't bother me and they were nice about it and apologetic. Plus it didn't really didn't take too long. Now my problem is the food. Normally Shake Shack is good but I don't go often if at all because it's expensive but what place isn't nowadays. The French onion soup burger smelled so delicious but it was the most disgusting burger I ever had. I wanted to like it so much because I love french onion soup but for me I thought it was gross and salty. That's what I get for trying to be adventurous. Some people like it and went off their recommendation but we all have different tastes of what we like. Now the onion rings were delicious but my issue is there was only like 3 maybe 4 in there. I was able to try this new location before it's officially open to the public. This particular location is situated in Avondale, right off the 101. Nothing really of note other than the entrance/exit to the location is not ideal but not a big deal. The food was great and the speed, service, and attentiveness of the staff was awesome. I'll also add that the bacon on my burger was cold as if it had been in the fridge but I just removed it and went on with eating the rest of my delicious meal. I'm sure the staff will work out any hiccups before they are open and should expect the same great food and service I've gotten from other Shake Shack locations in the valley. read more

Giving one star for the kid working register and cleanliness of new space. Took 25 min for 3 burgers and 2 hot dogs which showed up cold. Also ordered a Gluten Free bun which was cold and stale it literally crumbled apart the entire time i ate my overdone cold burger . If i hadn't spent $50 for our meal and wasn't starving I would have left. Dissatisfied to say the least and won't visit this location again . Which is sad because we live shake shack read more

Wow! I cannot believe people argue that shake shack is better than in n out. Our first visit to an SS and wow! The burger is unevenly cooked - one well done, one medium rare patty, cold fries, the cheese on a grilled cheese isn't fully cooked and the prices are astronomical. I think its absolutely ridiculous that for 1 i have to order myself, whatever, everyone is going to screens, my biggest issue is that i had to give them my phone number to order, i dont like giving it out and the machine doesnt need it because i had to take a number anyways! And then the machine had the nerve to ask me for a tip? Absolutely ridiculous. Tried this location after reading a great review, and the entire experience was a joke. Twenty minutes in the drive thru behind just two cars, cold single burger slopping out of the wrapper, coke without the coke taste. I came last night in the drive through and the young lady that helped me was rude and missed and item for my order that I didn't notice until getting home. There was a line and she seemed to be irritated by the time she got to me. I believe her name was Nika and that behavior reminds me of the manger or shift leader Mackenzie who had a bad attitude and didn't seem to care about that she messed up an order taken in drive through. I think they may have gotten rid of her by now! Now if Ms. Nika & Mackenzie were as nice as some of the other team members this review may have been better. It's always a pleasure to see Bunni, she's very kind, goes above and beyond to make sure guests are satisfied. Thank you Bunni & hopefully you're on my next visit. read more
