Greatest service and efficient. Fresh food fries were piping hot! First time in drive thru second time there. Was not disappointed

Since my first review, I have been back a few times and each time worse than the last. As noted in other reviews, the restaurant is filthy. Garbage on the floor and on tables. Sticky tables with paint or nail polish stains. Slow service. Inattentive cashiers. Whether or not they are high, as noted by another reviewer, or just don't give a shit I can't say, but I shouldn't have to repeat a simple order like "Four original sliders and a small drink" three times AND STILL HAVE THEM GET MY ORDER WRONG. I wrote to corporate and when I finally got a response, they referred me to regional management, who contacted me. After I related my experiences, I haven't heard from them since. No "Here's a gift certificate", no "Sorry...we'll get back to you". No nothing. Not even a "Fuck off". Another minor complaint. I don't know if it's standard at all Castles now, but keeping the ketchup packets and whatnot behind the counter is kind of weak. They make you feel like they're doing you a favor by handing you a couple packs of mustard. Definitely needs a LOT of improvement. read more

Believe it or not, my first time trying White Castle. We were headed to Scale and Feather Meadery which does not serve food, only drinks. They allow outside food so I decided to stop and grab some sliders so we wouldn't drink on an empty stomach. I love the original sliders. I ordered a four pack. They were just the perfect greasy fast food bite with beef, cheese, and pickles on a little bun. These are my favorite. I also tried the panko fish sliders and the crispy chicken sliders. These were OK, but the grease was older or dirty so the taste of the chicken and the fish were off. We went through the drive-through to order and were helped completely by AI at the order screen. Harold and Kumar had me believing this was some incredible delicacy that hits like nothing else when you're high. Unfortunately the reality is much more disappointing. The food isn't bad, but it looks very sad, in particular the patties for the sliders. I thought McDonald's has low quality patties but I guess I wasn't familiar with white castle's. The fries were good, but a lack of anything really substantial makes this a much more niche option. The service definitely could use work, the workers looked very uninterested and I can't really say I blame them. The only saving grace would be the decorations, I like the theming on the outside of the restaurant, and the fun decorations inside. But man, last time I trust a movie to give me food recommendations. read more

The burgers at White Castle are definitely different from other burgers. They are steamed on a grill on a bed of onions, and are all slider sized. They also have panko fish sliders, chicken sliders, fries, chicken rings, onion chips, and mozzarella chips. It's a standard fast-food drink room. We had the nicest, friendliest lady taking out order. She seemed to love being there. It was pajama day, and some of the staff was wearing their jammies. So cute! Hubby and sons had the cheeseburger sliders and fries. Personally I don't care for them because I have a weird thing about onions--too weird to go into lol. I had the panko fish sliders and fries. I love them!!! So yummy! I wish we had a White Castle in Mesa. But maybe that would be bad for me . . . I'd go there all the time for the fish sliders. read more

It's White Castle. I think most of us know what to expect. For starters, everything is white! The sliders are basic; Meat, onion cheese, and that's about it. They do have a fairly diverse offering with tomato & Lettuce offerings, chicken and fish sliders. Mixing it up a bit keeps ordering interesting. My visit through the drive-thru was uneventful. No service issues and the order was correct. My kids like this spot, mainly because of Harold and Kumar. I'm glad we have more variety in the west valley! read more

Food is that of typical White Castle. Service was great and staff seemed to care about their jobs and keeping the White Castle name quality. However the dining area every table was filthy and dirty. The restrooms were trashed and outside trash was over flowing. definitely need to get the workers who were outside smoking weed (they had headsets on) and were answering the drive thru. My Mom had never been to a White Castle, and its been awhile since I've been to the one out in Scottsdale, so we decided to stop here for lunch. First of all...the AI ordering is lame. I tried to order 10 cheese sliders (they have a big poster on the window, 10 cheese sliders for $7.99? 8.99?) and the AI could not understand me. Finally gave up and asked to talk to an employee. Even then, the employee wasn't too familiar with the deal (I had to tell her that they have a big poster on their window with the offer). Finally got everything straightened out, went with the 10 cheese sliders, a sack of onion petals, a chocolate shake for my Mom, and a cup of water for myself. Total was about $18.00. How was it? Cheese Sliders- Damn, son! These were great! They were super fresh, hot, the cheese was melted, the onions were plentiful, and the beef was tasty! I've had White Castle maybe 8 times in my life, across the US, and this was the best the sliders have ever tasted. Score! Sack of Onion Petals- These were delicious! They were super crunchy, fried perfectly, and tasted great! Loved the coating/batter! Really solid! Overall, my Mom liked everything, too! Glad to have this closer to my house in Surprise. All these people with the one stars - the place just opened and they are getting into their rhythm and working out the kinks. Have some grace. We went to the Scottsdale and Tempe locations when they first opened and this location has done a much better job of keeping up. What can I say, it's White Castle. If you know, you know! The sliders were on par with the White Castle we know and love. The onion chips and chicken rings were perfect and not too greasy. I've been to White Castel perhaps 10 times in my life. The burger is how I remember it, small and simple. It was cooked fresh and served hot. It is what is it and we all have our opinions on the my favorite burger scale. Not the best but good. I need to do some math to determine if it is a good value or simply lower priced because it's small. The 'onion chips' - I've had batter dipped deep fried onion sections served as 'onion petals' at a C-store chain - for my taste too much batter/coating to onion ratio. The service was prompt, my order was complete and correct. New building open about a year. Clean , the air conditioning worked , all the supplies were available. This restaurant is filthy. I arrived around 11:15 am, shortly after the restaurant opened. There was one other couple there when I arrived. The tables have stains and crumbs on them. Looks like the tables were left dirty from the night before. The men's restroom doesn't appear to have been cleaned in a few days. The service was poor. Not because the young lady taking orders, but because who I assume is the manager stands by the fryers barking commands at the two employees. I returned to the counter after ordering for ketchup. The manager told the cashier to get the ketchup while the cashier was busy with other customers. I felt sorry for the cashier. read more

I was excited to try White Castle. There's always this big hype about them. We got the number nine, which is 10 sliders 20 chicken rings and a sack of fries. It came over $30 with tax. I think it was like 27 and change so when I was told $31, I was like wait.. it was correct. Honestly, the sliders were a little too salted. Even the fries was too salty. The chicken rings were good. But after two sliders, I felt like my blood pressure was high from the salt. Always quality and great taste burgers chicken fish sloppy joes mozzarella sticks and largest shakes anywhere in Arizona with delicious vanilla or chocolate or half vanilla half chocolate giant shakes. I've been three times and have to admit that it has gotten better. The first time the food was bad (chalked it up to being newly opened). Second time my order was wrong and each car in the drive through was paying for/getting the order for the car behind them (chalked it up to being newly opened). Third time just was not pleased. I feel like they use a different supplier that every other WC in the nation...everything just tastes funny. Oddly, the frozen ones actually taste better! Young skinny guy with braids "cooking" is worthless to his one employee running the whole show. Kiddos to that young guy. Will have to give it another try Glad to see White Castle has a location on the west side. I have been dining on the frozen version for a long time, obviously fresh is always the way to go. This was our first visit and the restaurant was packed as was the drive-thru. It was a challenge to find a clean table as most of the staff were busy tending to customers. The food in my opinion was just okay. Everything was made to order but it was luke warm at best and the onion petals tasted as if they were cooked in old oil. Maybe being so new, it's just growing pains. I do appreciate that you can mix and match different small burgers, the condiment area has a great selection of sauces and the self serve soda has a nice selection of refreshments. The ordering system has you waiting 5 min to connect to a server inside. Then takes another 10 to get someone to come to the drive through window to take the payment! Food was not worth the wait. Service is horrible! I'm really frustrated with this store after experiencing my third issue. They sent out an email promoting sliders for just $.50, but when I tried to redeem the offer in the app, there was nothing available. I decided to visit the store in person to see if they would honor the promotion, but the manager was completely unaware of it and refused to help. I reached out to corporate for assistance, hoping they could address the problem. Unfortunately, the assistant general manager, Stephanie, is worthless and even tried to place the blame on me. It's clear that her performance is lacking, and it's time for her to reconsider her role. I understand that White Castle is hurting for sales, but false advertising is illegal. I had a really good experience at the Goodyear location. There was no wait time in the drive thru and my food came out in a timely manor. The guys working the drive thru were also super nice. The food was good and I really enjoyed it! Please bring the spicy chicken rings because all this place needs is something spicy lol. Good job! read more

This is the most disgusting food I have ever had. Since they steam/cook the buns, the consistency of the bun quickly turns into a gummy paste and nauseous texture. The meat is either overcooked or a sickening pale grey that makes me question it's origin. I think one of their breakfast items was nearly palatable, but I have since scrubbed all memories of my traumatic White Castle experiences. If anything encapsulates the definition of "enshittification" it's this grotesque fast food company. read more

I stopped by Monday, 7/16, around 7pm. The wait was a bit long. The young lady at the first window was so nice & apologized for the wait as they were short staffed. I accepted that there might be a wait. I got exactly what I ordered, and it was great. I'm not sure what other people expect it to be, but it's exactly what I know it would've been. Drive-thru is extremely inefficient. There wasn't even a big line when I arrived at 11, not the "lunch rush", there were only 4 cars ahead of me in my lane to get to the ordering menu but there was a solid 10min where everyone sat and not a single car was moving. What was going on?! I tried calling the store while sitting because everyone was essentially stuck, if I could have left I would have, unfortunately you can't call to actually speak to anyone...so we sat. After ordering I watched as they had one person walking to each car and walking back collecting payment. There was one car at the front now holding up the line. At this point they could had another person running food to the other cars while waiting but nope. This one employee was handing things one at a time, walking back and forth, not attending to anyone else even though everyone else's food was ready. Also how are they not pumping these little burgers out? Clearly there are some growing pains with this new location but when there's hardly a line at 11am and I'm still waiting 30min to get 4 small burgers...it's got to be a joke. The food was just okay, nothing appealing and overall NOT worth the wait. Super disappointing considering I hadn't had White Castle in maybe 15years from one of its original locations. My advice? Skip the Drive-thru at all costs, even if the line looks short it's not, maybe one day they'll get it together but try your luck ordering inside if you must. read more

I saw 2 Cars drive off because they didn't want to tolerate it. I truly think it's losing business and just going back to the old-fashioned way will get this place booming and more sales but really those two made my experience amazing and I definitely will be back!!! We drove a pretty good distance to get some white castle sandwiches. We have always enjoyed them...until today. We tried the fish, the 1921 burger, onion chips, shake, and cheeseburgers. The only good item was the vanilla shake, basically $36.16 down the drain. The food was terrible. The fish smelled and the 1921 had lettuce on it that should have been in the trash. We didn't inspect the order. I tried to leave feedback to white castle online and after filling out all of the info, I couldn't submit it. It just sat there. Another car rolled up to the first lane, and they started taking his order. I backed up and went in the first lane. They tell me to please hold. Went there at 2 o'clock in the morning. One car in the other lane. There was no pickles or ketchup on any of our burgers. It took an additional 10 minutes to get our drinks, but I could tell that the girl was trying and was learning. I'm pretty sure it was the manager standing next to her watching her struggle the whole time when they could've been assisting her. Seems like management isn't up to par. I can see this location going down pretty soon if changes aren't made regardless of whether or not you're brand new you shouldn't have this many issues.
