Great service, super helpful and affordable. Would come back again to get keys copied.

Ray came to my home and did a free estimate for me to fix my key. He is very nice and was communicative about his timing. Excellent customer service. He did the assessment and let us know that our keys were actually working fine and to let him know if it stopped working, but he saved us $$$. Thank you, Ray. read more

Ray was quick and responsive. He gave me a quote within the hour of me requesting one, helped set up a date and time for his tech to come and program my two remotes for my GMC. Great value, service and communication. Called on a Sunday evening to get a mailbox key copied. Ray answered, gave the price (super affordable at 4$) and we set a time to meet at the shop the next morning. Turns out my mailbox key is very unique in the US (we got our mailbox from China) so the first key he made didn't work but he followed up and ended up coming to my place to look at the lock. He made another key on the spot which worked great and he didn't charge for the house visit or new key either. Will definitely be back for any future key needs I have. Highly recommend Ray's services. read more

Destroyed my lock on my door then told me they couldn't find a replacement after 5 months. Zero communication, very unprofessional. Use someone else. Also expensive. read more

Accepted his offer and he gave me a time and date that worked with my schedule to do the work. Ray was punctual and showed up in the time period specified and started the work. He ran into a problem with my emergency key and was able to help fix that situation. In and out under 45 minutes. Diamond Locksmith (Ray)- Quick and efficient work. Ray was able to give me a quote within about 10 minutes. He was cheaper than 4 other quotes I had received! $50.00 cheaper to be exact! And he was available with 20 minutes, came to my house, cut me a new key and fob on the spot within 10 minutes! Amazing service! I highly recommend this service and Ray could not have been more sweet and helpful. I am super grateful because with a broken key and fob, my car wouldn't remain on. It would start, then die, and a green key light would appear on my car. So thank goodness I got this fixed and found this business! read more

Rarely do I write reviews, typically, like most, when it's really good or really bad, and Diamond Locksmith was really good! The door to our garage had something go wrong with the lock where it wouldn't even close unless you dead-bolted it (super inconvenient) and I poked around Yelp, found Diamond which sounded good and figured I'd try them. They picked up immediately, were here within a couple hours and literally had a new latch or whatever it's called installed within 5 minutes. They charged me the minimum. Now I've got my locksmith for the future. Cannot recommend highly enough. Vaughn was our guy and couldn't have been better. Anyway, if you're on the fence try them. Highly recommend. read more

My battery died in my Mini Cooper and my door wouldn't unlock, with the fob OR the manual key. Diamond Locksmith answered the phone immediately, and dispatched someone within an hour. The dispatched person also called to let me know they were on the way. Got my door unlocked and discovered my battery was dead and the connection was loose. Teishon kindly tightened the connection and also gave me a jump, above and beyond what was originally requested. All with my 3 yr old toddler climbing around my car and also embarrassingly poking Teishon in the butt while he was working on my car (sorry!!!). They take Venmo! Got a copy of the receipt via text from their Square app. So quick and convenient if you need a receipt to submit as an insurance reimbursement. read more

These guys are AWESOME. We asked Vaughan at Diamond Locksmith to come change the locks in our new house, and to install a punch-code lock on our back door. We now feel safe in our new home, and we feel lucky to have had such a trustworthy guy help us out. HIGHLY recommend them. read more

It is good to know that there is one automotive locksmith in San Mateo that will come to your car and make you a new key in an emergency. We called dealer and we called the other locksmith in SM and they told us they can make us a new key but we would have to find a tow service and bring in the car ourselves. That would have added at least another hour to or wait and cost another fee. Ray came by in a hour and made us a new key within a half hour. It cost $350 but it was well worth it! Once we find our keys, it will cost another $80 to program each key to the new code. read more
