They were super quick and easy to get an appointment during the weekend. They re-keyed the locks from our house.

We had Phil change two locks (front door and bedroom). He was easy to arrange time with, professional and fast on the job. He apparently knows his trade well. Definitely worth it and highly recommended! Thank you Phil read more

I called this company to unlock my car after locking my keys inside. The technician used an air wedge and a metal rod to reach through the slit and grab set of keys (mind you there were like 6 keys). After the job my passenger side door no longer closed tightly and there was a visible gap. I asked the technician to pour some water on that area to check the seal, and water leaked inside the car. Instead of acknowledging the issue, the company became defensive and said things like "Why test it? Because you knew it was wrong?" which came across as condescending. Later they claimed to have before and after photos, but they only took a picture after the job and tried to use that as proof that the damage existed earlier. That is not honest or professional. The leak and misalignment started immediately after their service, and their reaction showed no accountability or respect. I would not recommend this company. If you ever hire them, make sure to document everything with photos and videos because they will deny any responsibility if something goes wrong. Edit: The owner replied by calling me a scammer. I posted actual evidence: photos, a video of the leak, and a Yelp reimbursement confirmation siding with my claim. Insults don't change documented facts. read more

Buyer beware! Go Pro Locksmith was contracted to repair a minor repair - adjust a handle of a Schlage lock. First, they were no show without the explanation twice. Then, they provided a 12 hour window 8 am - 8 pm and eventually came. Go Pro Locksmith removed my Schlage and replaced with a low quality Delaney lock, which did not fit. For this service they charged me hundreds of dollars. When I wanted my Schlage lock back on the door, they said it would cost me a few more hundred dollars. This is not the quality of service we expect from a locksmith. read more

My key fob stopped working, and my two backup keys didn't work, even after I got replacement batteries from O'Reilly Auto Parts and tried to re-program them myself. Pedro came on time, not only quickly created a new key with working remote but also got all my backup keys working. Not sure why the O'Reilly batteries didn't work, but I wasn't charged extra for the backup key repairs. And he came right to where I was. Highly recommend GoPro Locksmith if you need any lock/key services in the Palo Alto area! read more

Phil was great, he arrived on time and completed the fob programming in about 15 mins. His pricing is very competitive.

The tech came on the agreed time, finished the job in less than 30minutes! Thank you!

Wow! Easily a 5 star. Phil went above and beyond. I asked him to program a car key. Drove over and programmed my extra key. Then he found another issue with my car and fixed it on the way! Price was one of the best too. Really professional and fast! Thank you so much! read more

We called GoPro locksmith for repair of a latch on a commercial door. Other locksmiths either would not touch the commercial door latch (they are complicated) or gave us quotes that were ridiculous. GoPro quickly came on site, assessed the problem, ordered the needed parts, and installed them on arrival. Excellent service with just exactly the repair we needed. They're thorough, knowledgeable, and I recommend them! read more

100% satisfied. Call this company for lock help. Every aspect of dealing with them and customer service was excellent.

After calling around for repairing our 25-year-old sliding door that couldn't be opened, and a failed first try by a locksmith, luckily I was able to find Go Pro. The tech came right away, not only the door was able to open, he also was sincere, honest, professional, knowledgeable, and considerate - totally deserved 5 Star rating. read more

2003 Honda Pilot, ignition cylinder stuck, key wouldn't turn. Called Phil. Awesome guy! He was clear and to the point when explaining the issue, gave a great quote, and came to my location as quick as he could. Repaired the ignition cylinder real quick! [Long story] A quick online search will show many old Honda's with the same issue. A few days before the incident, I struggled to insert the key. The day of the incident, key went in, but had to jiggle it a bit to get the car to start and headed to a store. I shouldn't have done that....got out of the store.. key went in fine, but wouldn't turn. *If the key starts to gets stuck, don't wait, call Phil. read more

I regret using this company and feel deceived. They arrived 15-20 mins late beyond the one hour window given. Over the phone I was told they'd be able to make a key for the lock whose key was missing but when they arrived in person they said they could only rekey. And of course there is a service charge to visit so it's not worth just refusing the rekey. It would have been cheaper for me to install new locks had they clarified on the phone that rekeying would be required and they wouldn't be able to make a key for the existing lock. They also came across as arrogant and rude. The rekey works hence the two stars for competence but I would not use them again since they're not clear on the phone. read more

I trusted the reviews on Yelp for Go Pro Locksmith and I'm glad to say my experience was excellent. Phil communicated with me through email for a non-emergency replacement keyless fob for our 2024 car. By the next day we had an appointment for a mobile visit to our house (no extra charge) and he was in and out in about 20 minutes. Excellent communication and very trustworthy. And quite a huge savings over dealing with the dealer and a bonus for not having to take my car to the dealer for pairing to the fob. read more

I emailed the company yesterday asking about getting a second fob / key for my Camry. Renata replied right away giving price options for the type of key required (it differs depending on whether the car ignition has a push button or key insert/turn type). This morning, I confirmed the type and asked if they have them in stock and when the can come out. Phil arrived during the 30 minute window of the appointment this evening and got my new key cut and programmed quickly! Awesome service. I very much recommend them. read more

Superb service! Phil was professional and a delight to work with. He was prompt and very thorough in providing me a quote through yelp -- in fact, he was the most thorough in addressing all my questions in his text messages, which distinguished him from all other replies from the get go. I needed a duplicate fob key for my Mazda (lost the 2nd backup key). His quote was very reasonable. His communication was excellent and courteous. He arrived within the timeframe provided (called and let me know he would be 10 minutes late -- no problem). His workspace in his van is immaculately organized -- a good sign of his work ethic. He was efficient and thoughtful. A great person to work with. May he and his business thrive! Highly recommended business! read more

Phil came pretty much within the time range provided. He also provided a heads-up when he required extra time to arrive. He had the tools available in his mobile unit. He worked quickly to program a remote lock for my car despite having issues with a worn down key and my ignition lock being stuck. Eventually, I also decided to have my ignition lock rebuilt as well. And entering and starting my car has never been so easy for years now. I should have fixed this earlier! In the end, my original key worked in opening and starting my car. In addition, I have the option for keyless entry with my new remote key which I can also start the car with as well. And I also have one spare key that I can use just to simply unlock doors. Overall, it was a good experience and I would likely go with him again in the future. read more

Service was stellar. The rating is for the price. Called and gave my car model, make, and year. They said the service person would call me back with an ETA. After 10min, I get a call back and I ask for a quote. (I didn't mention my car this time assuming he knew, I should have made sure.) I heard the quote to be $29, and was ecstatic. He came in half the time he mentioned, pretty quick. When he saw my car, he was surprised to see it was a 2013, Honda Civic. It was then he explained how much it would really cost. $149 - he drills a hole in my keyhole, but it will leave damage I would have to get fixed myself. $249 - he makes a gap in the door and pulls the door handle with a stick - no damage to the car. He was already there and I had no more time to wait for someone else, so I ask for the 2nd option. It took less than 3min. He was super nice, but saying that service including labor was worth $249, I would recommend calling around for a better quote. Makes no sense to me the easier method would cost more. read more

I'd been dragging my feet finally getting a new key fob for my mazda3 after I put my spare through the washing machine (don't recommend). So glad I ran across Go Pro Locksmith on Yelp -- messaged at the start of the week, we found a time, and Phil came right in the window and got everything wrapped in under 45 mins. If I'd realized how seamless the process would be, I'd have scheduled earlier. Thank you for the above-and-beyond professional help!
