Buyer beware! Go Pro Locksmith was contracted to repair a minor repair - adjust a handle of a Schlage lock. First, they were no show without the explanation twice. Then, they provided a 12 hour window 8 am - 8 pm and eventually came. Go Pro Locksmith removed my Schlage and replaced with a low quality Delaney lock, which did not fit. For this service they charged me hundreds of dollars. When I wanted my Schlage lock back on the door, they said it would cost me a few more hundred dollars. This is not the quality of service we expect from a locksmith. read more

My key fob stopped working, and my two backup keys didn't work, even after I got replacement batteries from O'Reilly Auto Parts and tried to re-program them myself. Pedro came on time, not only quickly created a new key with working remote but also got all my backup keys working. Not sure why the O'Reilly batteries didn't work, but I wasn't charged extra for the backup key repairs. And he came right to where I was. I called this company to unlock my car after locking my keys inside. The technician used an air wedge and a metal rod to reach through the slit and grab set of keys (mind you there were like 6 keys). After the job my passenger side door no longer closed tightly and there was a visible gap. I asked the technician to pour some water on that area to check the seal, and water leaked inside the car. Instead of acknowledging the issue, the company became defensive and said things like "Why test it? Because you knew it was wrong?" which came across as condescending. Later they claimed to have before and after photos, but they only took a picture after the job and tried to use that as proof that the damage existed earlier. That is not honest or professional. The leak and misalignment started immediately after their service, and their reaction showed no accountability or respect. I would not recommend this company. If you ever hire them, make sure to document everything with photos and videos because they will deny any responsibility if something goes wrong. Edit: The owner replied by calling me a scammer. I posted actual evidence: photos, a video of the leak, and a Yelp reimbursement confirmation siding with my claim. Insults don't change documented facts. read more

He was clear and to the point when explaining the issue, gave a great quote, and came to my location as quick as he could. Repaired the ignition cylinder real quick! [Long story] A quick online search will show many old Honda's with the same issue. A few days before the incident, I struggled to insert the key. The day of the incident, key went in, but had to jiggle it a bit to get the car to start and headed to a store. I regret using this company and feel deceived. They arrived 15-20 mins late beyond the one hour window given. Over the phone I was told they'd be able to make a key for the lock whose key was missing but when they arrived in person they said they could only rekey. And of course there is a service charge to visit so it's not worth just refusing the rekey. It would have been cheaper for me to install new locks had they clarified on the phone that rekeying would be required and they wouldn't be able to make a key for the existing lock. They also came across as arrogant and rude. The rekey works hence the two stars for competence but I would not use them again since they're not clear on the phone. read more

Phil came pretty much within the time range provided. He also provided a heads-up when he required extra time to arrive. He had the tools available in his mobile unit. He worked quickly to program a remote lock for my car despite having issues with a worn down key and my ignition lock being stuck. Eventually, I also decided to have my ignition lock rebuilt as well. And entering and starting my car has never been so easy for years now. I should have fixed this earlier! In the end, my original key worked in opening and starting my car. In addition, I have the option for keyless entry with my new remote key which I can also start the car with as well. And I also have one spare key that I can use just to simply unlock doors. Service was stellar. The rating is for the price. Called and gave my car model, make, and year. They said the service person would call me back with an ETA. After 10min, I get a call back and I ask for a quote. (I didn't mention my car this time assuming he knew, I should have made sure.) I heard the quote to be $29, and was ecstatic. He came in half the time he mentioned, pretty quick. When he saw my car, he was surprised to see it was a 2013, Honda Civic. It was then he explained how much it would really cost. $149 - he drills a hole in my keyhole, but it will leave damage I would have to get fixed myself. $249 - he makes a gap in the door and pulls the door handle with a stick - no damage to the car. He was already there and I had no more time to wait for someone else, so I ask for the 2nd option. It took less than 3min. He was super nice, but saying that service including labor was worth $249, I would recommend calling around for a better quote. Makes no sense to me the easier method would cost more. read more
