Our keypad lock ran out of battery while we were gone on vacation, so I contacted Marco from the airport before our flight home. He agreed to meet us at our house when we got home. I texted him when we landed and he met us within 5 minutes of us reaching the house. We asked him to open another (mechanically locked) door, and he was able, with a little bit of work, to get that lock opened. He rekeyed that door for us since we didn't have a key for it, and he also showed us how to deal with the keypad lock when the battery runs low. I am extremely pleased with Marco's delivery, we worked together two times already. The first time I got to know Marco when the main door lock got stuck in the evening, but worked perfectly fine the next morning when Marco arrived. I was speechless when he did not asked for payment. He just inspected it, and then wished me a good day, without sending an invoice. I don't know about others' experience, but for me, this is rare. So it was no surprise that I called Marco when the lock really broke: it was a funny situation when I was unlocking the door from outside with the key, while my wife opened the door from inside, at the same very second, by pressing the lever. The cylinder got into a situation the lock designers did not foresee, I think, and it simply popped out of its encasement, in a shower of small springs and little metal cylinders. Marco showed up the very next day, in the morning, and he *repaired* the lock - I was convinced that he would ask me to buy a replacement. Since then, the main door lock works *better* than before - the lever moves easier and it is easier to unlock the door. I purchased a 2019 HONDA CIVIC used car from a HONDA dealer. However the dealer gave me only one duplicate Chinese copy key fob. I got several estimate from other locksmith, and I pick Mustang Locksmith. Afshin can quickly reprogram to the new key fob. That's a normal process. He tested not only lock/unlock, but also tested all the remote key functions, such as remote engine start, window closed, etc. Other locksmith I hired only tested open/close function before. But the main problem we encounter is the physical emergency key needs to be fixed. The key cylinder was broken!! Afshin removed cylinder from door and check the ID number. The cylinder ID number does not match for my car model in the locksmith special database. Somehow, the dealer swapped the key cylinder!! I should've checked before I purchased this used car, but it's too late. I have few choices. 1. Forget about the emergency physical key since mainly used the remote key fob. 2. Replace the key cylinder and re-cut the emergency keys again. 3. Ask Afshin to fix the cylinder. Afshin recommend #1, but I decided #3, Afshin is a professionally fixed cylinder with a bit extra cost with 20 min of work and I'm very happy with this result. Marcos gave me peace of mind and security. I was burglarized by a man with a knife who broke in by tampering with the front door, which only had the top deadbolt working . I live in a Victorian house so I thought having 1 out of 2 deadbolts working on the front door was still secure. Thankfully I survived the intrusion, but the police concluded he broke in through the front door. The next day, Marcos came. When he tested my front door, only the top deadbolt was working, while the bottom deadbolt wasn't functional. After contacting several locksmiths, we were told that only the top bolt could be fixed.
