Sean is so efficient and knowledgeable, charges very reasonably (much lower than what's expected by market quote) for new home rekey service. Our mailbox ends up much more difficult to disassemble but he was very patient. He is also kind enough to share his experience with me (I am a first time home owner) which is super helpful. He will be my go-to local locksmith. He is not using iPhone so there might be some delays in sending over photos from an iPhone but if you get to interact with him I bet you'd be thrilled with his service. Glad I found this gem on yelp! read more

Sean is incredibly knowledgeable in his field and a hard worker! When we called, he gave us an accurate time estimate on when he could swing by on a same day turnaround. He quickly assessed our door hinge, frame, and locks to identify the root issue. His pricing transparency was great (without us even asking) and the service went by quick. He also doesn't try to squeeze you to get anything unnecessary, and was informative on security + how to avoid common locksmith/door repair pitfalls. Overall, he was extremely professional, polite, honest, and diligent. We really appreciated the care he put into our home. We'll definitely be contacting him in the future when we run into any problems! :) read more

Sean is awesome. Super nice and good quality of work. He's definitely going to be my go to person moving forward

I needed to rekey my home and mailbox, and after asking ChatGPT for recommendations, Lock & Key World came up as a top option. They were one of the few companies that responded quickly and provided enough information for me to feel confident moving forward. Sean handled the entire service, and although the mailbox turned out to be more complicated than expected, he took the time to walk me through what he was doing and why. The full visit took about an hour and a half. He was professional, friendly, and clearly takes security very seriously. That level of care really matters when someone is working on the locks to your home. The pricing was reasonable and actually lower than the second quote I received. I am very satisfied with the service and would highly recommend Lock & Key World. read more

I had a home lock problem and called the lock & key world locksmith. Sean responded my call quickly and nicely and came to my home to fix it. I have already appreciated about this part of his action because not all service people respond and take a proper action to my call. He explained the problem of my door lock and repaired it with proper parts because wrong parts had been used in my home lock. I also consulted another lock problem which lasted years with him and he solved it within 5 minutes. Now, all my home lock problems are fixed which gave me a peace of mind. Thank you very much, Sean!! read more

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Sean, who installed a new lock on our front door. It was easy to communicate with him via text to set up an appointment (same-day), and he called when he was on his way. He is very knowledgeable and is happy to share his expertise with his customers, helping them to understand what he is doing and why. I appreciated the time he took to make sure our new lock was properly aligned and even fixed an old issue with the door frame. He spent a few extra minutes discussing options for a few of our other doors, as well as additional security for our side gate. I wouldn't hesitate to call Sean again for any of our key/lock needs. Thank you, Sean! read more

Sean is responsive, honest, and very detail-oriented with his work. I asked him to help replace and re-key 3 doors in my new house, and he recommend/suggest good brands, did his work promptly, and even inspects the security around the house and make recommendations for free. He's not the cheapest, but it is quality work and he makes effort to make everything secure (without ridiculous up-selling) and aesthetically pleasing at the same time. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of security work around the house. read more

Thorough, professional, and honest! I cannot recommend him enough. He came out to fix a faulty installation of my new electronic keypad (done by a TaskRabbit -- never again). Not only did he fix my problem, he also spent time showing me how to change the battery, align the doorframe, etc etc. Sean has spent 20+ years so he really knows his stuff. I'm grateful to have found a local lock expert vs. all those scammers popping up on Google Search. Strongly recommend!! read more

Sean came out right away. Great service. Very professional! Would recommend him very highly.

I needed a lock smith to rekey two locks and Sean took care of it super quickly! Very professional and polite; we conversed about a variety of things all while he took care of rekeying the cylinders and even going so far as to finish installing one of my locks for me. If you need someone in the bay area, I highly recommend Sean! Pricing felt fair and for the quick weekend service I received, I'd pay it again no questions asked. Thanks Sean! read more

Lock & Key World Locksmith - Added a deadbolt to our door - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

I had a loose door handle and needed to rekey three locks. I called Sean at 12pm, he came at 3:00pm, and he was done by 4:00pm. He even fixed a latch that wasn't engaging on a door that had sagged, all for a reasonable price. I am very happy with his service and highly recommend him! read more

Outstanding customer service, fair price, great work, timely and fast. Shawn was very nice in explaining everything he was doing.

I reached out to Sean and his company because I recently moved into a new house and the previous owner had a very poor door lock installed. (Never buy an Ultraloq!!!) When I called Sean about my problem, he not only asked me about my issue, but he also EDUCATED ME. He made recommendations and said that a deadbolt is better than a dead latch. He explained why he recommended certain brands such as Schlage. He walked me through the process of picking the right one to ENSURE I got the right one that fit my door, BEFORE he came out, so that he doesn't charge me twice. The reviews speak for themselves. Sean at Lock and Key is one of the best in the business. He is polite, informative, and is clearly very good at what he does. Most importantly, he doesn't try to scam or upscale you. He wants what's best for the customer and his rates are very fair. I will need some of the door handles and locks replaced on some of my sliding doors and I will ONLY go to Sean and his company from now on. He is very busy, but he will respond to call or text. 10/10, highly recommend. PS: I reached out to 3 other locksmiths, and Sean was the only one that gave me an estimate/quote BEFORE asking me what area I lived in. He was the only one that didn't ask for an exact address. Two other companies asked for my exact address and wouldn't give me a quote until I did, which I found very odd. Very sketchy, and I found out from Sean that some locksmiths do this so that they will come to your home even if you don't book or if you cancel, and they pressure you to pay the fee. Sean didn't ask for my address until I confirmed my business with him, as well as a date and time. This is professionalism. Thank you, Sean! read more

Lock & Key World Locksmith - New Schlage!! - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

Excellent service and super professional locksmith! The owner Sean is the main person and picked this business cause of the excellent ratings. The work was just as people commented on yelp -- he was professional and friendly. We had a brand new front door lock and handle installed and the rate was very reasonable for a professional locksmith to do all the work. It was not the easiest install since we had such an old door and existing set but he did a wonderful job. We will absolutely use Sean at Lock & Key World again for any other lock related business! read more
