I have been in Walmart parking lot like a homeless Person from Thursday/friday night AM 12/23 somehow I lost my keys. I unlocked my car than they dropped or something it was so dark and with a 1000 dollars worth of cleaning supplies and equipment plus It WAS RAINING HEAVY and I was very very tired. Called Richard at Pop-a-lock. He said his guy would be here in 15 minutes. It's now been 35 minutes. I called and asked Richard where his guy is and that I'm waiting. Asked if I'd get a discount for waiting around for him, he said: "Uh no, I don't think so, you are already getting a discount since my guy is already in your location" I thanked him for being such a great (insert sarcasm here) customer service advocate. Had a request to duplicate an auto key with programming. On-time, courteous, thorough and got the job done in a timely manner. Worked with us on a switched location due to scheduling. Takes cards but there is a card processing fee. Better off paying cash. Prices reasonable. Key works great. read more

Rich was extremely knowledgeable and talked me through the type of lock I had, as well as his recommendations. The lady that took my information and booked my appointment was extremely nice, patient and well mannered. He says, if u ever need a key, give him a call.....as he handed me a business card. I asked if he made motorcycle keys. He made my key and was even able to make a key for my Givi trunk box. They seemed like a friendly enough bunch. The phone operator was informative and the locksmith that made a copy of my key seemed like a nice person. The customer service was good. However the copy they made of my key did not work. The guy only charged me $50 instead of the $75, which was nice. However, it does not change the fact that the key does not work. The locksmith said, they would be in touch regarding a follow-up, which never happened either. I paid the $50, just because he was working for about 40 minutes to an hour. Not really sure what's customary in this situation. A part of me feels there should not have been a charge at all. I paid it anyway, just because the people were pleasant.
