BEWARE SCAM ARTIST…read more Shay Ben Simon was the representative I spoke with who I believe is the owner. I asked Shay to assist me with a lock issue at a property I own. He told me he would go and fix the mail key and a door knob. Without confirming a price with me first, Shay worked and then called me saying I owed him $300 to replace a simple mail box key and for work he did to partially fix a door knob. He said it would cost another $200 to fix the door knob completely saying he needed a "special lock" to fix it because it was a "commercial lock". He wanted $500 for something that should have cost $200 max. When I asked him to send me a link to show me this "special $200+ commercial lock" he sent me a an Amazon link to basic door knob and said the special one only a locksmith could buy. I had another locksmith come the next day and fix it for $80. When I pushed back on the price with Shay he started yelling at me. At this point I paid him to shut him up. Shay lied to me multiple times and when confronted he yelled. Extremely rude, unprofessional, and not trustworthy. He didn't confirm a price and just worked knowing he could try and scam me. After a lengthy process of exchanging information, we were told that it would be about an hour before someone could come out. At least we were parked in the lot that had a beautiful view of the ocean. Fortunately, the wait for help didn't take long at all! A nice man pulled up next to us in his own car. (I was expecting a tow truck). He immediately brought out his battery tester/charger. It turned out the battery was indeed on it's last leg. This was unexpected since the battery was not that old, so Joe was sure something more mechanically serious would be the problem! In only a few minutes flat, the pick up started right up, and we were back on the road to a nearby auto parts store to reluctantly purchase a new battery. This put a delay in our road trip to the next vacation destination, but thankful that "Roadside 24 hour Service" was there to help us out!
