Sunday evening, about 6 pm, I called Alex because I wasn't able to open my trunk. (I'm an Engineer and very handy; I spent some time trying to open the trunk on my own but couldn't.) Alex offered to come and fix it immediately. 30 minutes later he was in my house. He spent a few minutes to study the lock, and within less than 10 min, he opened the trunk. Highly recommend Alex the Locksmith if you need any of your locks replaced! Our existing Schlage front door lock broke after 30+ years, so we bought a replacement Schlage Encode smart lock thinking it would be easy to do. However, the new lock required larger holes to fit into the door and the screws for the old deadbolt were like welded in with no way to remove them. After thinking a bit, we decided to hire pros to do the replacement. I contacted Alex the Locksmith, and his team came out promptly. After spending an hour drilling thru the deadbolt lock screws, it was finally removed. He then had to spend another hour enlarging the existing holes to fit the new lock. But, after all was done, the new lock works perfectly. It took a while to complete, but we're happy with the quality of the work. read more
