Ray was such a lifesaver! We drove up to the Bay Area to empty out our self storage unit, but we accidentally left our lock keys back home... 400 miles away. The businesses that the office recommended were closed on Saturdays. However, we found Ray and his business shortly after searching up Yelp, feeling reassured that he was licensed and had extremely high reviews. Lock out situation. Arrived within 20 mins. Quoted $70-100 on the phone. Charged $140 ($30 service fee + $110 lock open fee), which seemed pricey compared to other quotes and was bait & switch imo. Was able to open the door within 10 mins. Your job will be done and done quickly, but the price will be steep. read more

Ray was pretty cool. he was really flexible and he's very busy, which is good. but he came on time when he said he would. he just does runs a really professional quality key making service. I get a lot of keys made and my key guy left the country so now Ray is hopefully going to do that for me and it's going to go well I believe. you know I wasn't able to get back to him on the first key that I made with him for a couple of days because of some stuff that came up but he was cool about the whole thing and you know, you want someone like that. Someone who understands that things come up. I told him that I would give him extra and I did because i wanted to let him know that I did appreciate his work- that it was valuable to me. I came to where he was at, so as not to cost him any extra time than he had not already projected and took care of it. So now the good news is is that as a result of that situation, I am now aware of a certain trait it's very important to have in any business inc a locksmith business. I learned that he's not the type to let issues that come up throw him off or get him frazzled. he's a good guy in that way. He knows the importance sticking with a positive attitude and he does it in a way that works. So that's cool. It's good to have somebody as a vendor. Someone that's got a good temperament, you could say. Like i said, he doesn't let problems throw him off too much. I'm a guy who is a pretty straight shooter. I never make promises that I can't keep. I will definitely take care of someone that can understands when problems come up and Ray's that guy-which is why I'm leaving this review.. He really does do his best and he's pretty knowledgeable btw. He can do some of those unusual keys (I found out just by asking him) that a lot of guys say they "Don't Do".... LOL o.
