First the server was very nice. Ordered a Burger and asked for no lettuce and tomato. Came with lettuce and tomato. No biggie. I took it off. Fries were barely warm. Some were cold. I told the server and he replaced them with hot fries. At the end of the meal I waited almost 10 minutes for my check. He was talking with a table with his back to me. I wasn't in a rush. But attentiveness kind of lacked. The view was very nice.

The hubby and I were invited to a friend's birthday celebration at Diablo Rooftop bar, on top of the Cambria Hotel. We were part of a large group, so we weren't sure what to expect, but luckily they were able to accommodate us all at one table, which was nice. Our server was great and came around often to make sure everyone was good! The food and drinks were good, and they had a decent amount of menu items to choose from. Best part IMO, is the view of downtown! ! My only complaint would be the chairs. They had 12 chairs around the table, but because of the style of the chairs, they were touching side by side and had to be pulled all the way out to get into them, so it was a bit awkward.

I stopped by tonight for dinner with my man and this was our first time here. I had won a giveaway for this dinner, separate from Yelp! The ambiance and vibe was awesome, love the views. The service was great as well. The food was yummy! For starters we got the nachos with Carne asada, then I got 3 street tacos carne asada, my man got the diablo burger that came with a side of fries, then also got the buffalo wings, then for dessert got the churros we got those togo but I tried one and it was goood!! It has chocolate filling inside, super yummy! Everything was amazing. Loved it all. I also got their strawberry lemonade and my man got the tower station beer on draft. Everything was great and we will be returning! Thank you Diablo!

I recently visited this rooftop bar downtown and had a fantastic experience! The drinks were excellent, with the Hibiscus Margarita standing out as a real treat. It's vibrant, refreshing, and bursting with flavor. The Prickly Pear margarita was a bit on the sweet side, perfect for those with a sweet tooth, while the Coconut margarita offered a light, tropical vibe that was super refreshing. The views were incredible, giving you a gorgeous panorama of the city. It's a great spot for both day and night, as the atmosphere is elevated by some cool tunes playing in the background. I didnt order any food but they have some light bites, perfect for nibbling while enjoying your drinks. The vibe is chic and relaxed, and it's worth noting that the bar is cashless, so make sure to bring a card. They even have someone who comes around to take photos for purchase. $20per photo but they're a nice way to save a memory. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place to unwind! While you can go I the daytime the night time is my recommendations especially as the weather starts to heat up.

Nachos were mediocre, not worth $16 - 6/10

One of the few rooftop bars that Phoenix has. It is located on top of Cambria Hotel in Downtown Phoenix. Came here without a reservation on a Saturday night but it wasn't too busy so I got seated pretty fast! The view was very pretty and it was hard not to take a million pictures because the city lights were so beautiful! Drinks and were pretty pricey. Got a cocktail "Playa Azul' (Malibu, Titos, Blue Curacao, Pineapple, Pamplemousse, lime) and it cost $17! It was refreshing, sweet, tropical, and had a kick to it but it wasn't worth the price. Food was expensive too. Got some nachos, which was $16 and was nothing special. Wish they used real cheese and not just nacho cheese sauce. It'd be nice if the chips were crispier and more fresh.. not worth the price. 6/10 Got the NY steak in medium rare ($34) - it was marinated well and pretty tender but wish there were more pieces for the price. It was decent but not worth it. 7/10 Service was mediocre and just average Pretty much just paying for the view and I'd pass on the mediocre, overpriced food and drinks.. Wouldn't return or recommend

This review is for the restaurant that is off the hotel lobby of Cambria. It's a trendy little spot with floor to ceiling windows and even though it was super hot outside, it was nice and cool inside. The bar was under construction when I was here but the crew was so silent, there was no disturbance. My server was attentive and very clean. She kept the place spotless and came by to quickly remove empty creamer and sugar wrappers and napkin bands. The breakfast menu is a mix of Mexican and American fare. I settled on red chilaquiles and a side of potatoes. The chilaquiles were a blend of crispy and soft tortillas and the sauce was decent, not spicy. The scrambled eggs were perfectly fluffy. The potatoes had a nice crisp on the outside but soft on the inside and were accompanied with peppers and onions that gave it a great flavor. The whole experience was totally worth 5 stars!

Honestly what a bummer compared to last time. We went here to celebrate one of our friend's birthday and it was not a great experience. We were there maybe two hours totally before leaving it was so bad. For starters they don't take cash. Which is dumb. And they didn't play any good music. Only towards later in the night did they play any real music like Chris brown or any of that. But even then it was eh. Nothing old school. Our waitress was horrendous. She was the most inattentive server I've ever had. She stood by the bar most of the time and we kept having to get up and order with her at the bar since she would never come over. Since we had 6 people there was an auto 22% gratuity which is insane. It's only listed very tiny on the menu and not even listed on the website and I don't believe I saw any signs stating the auto gratuity. 22% for what? No service that's what. I tipped her zero since we got NO SERVICE. The food was mid at best. Not that great. Not very flavorful and overpriced. Don't think I'll come back. There's plenty of other reviews on yelp and Google where the running theme is views are good but service is HORRENDOUS

We've been to this bar a number of times through the years, and it's had a few different incarnations. Diablo's food is, by far, my favorite! Our server, Cesar, was spot on. They were super busy, but he set expectations about the wait on the food, and he kept the drinks coming. They did have a two-hour max on table use, which made us a little nervous when our food hadn't arrived after the first hour had passed, but the food finally came and they got us out in just under two hours without anyone feeling rushed. Food-wise we only got appetizers, but the ceviche was 10/10 - fresh-tasting, chilled, and just a hint of spice. The nachos were a little fiery, but nice and crunchy. The Diablo Fries had a little kick, but were tasty. Lastly, I didn't personally try it but the burger got a good review from our group, too. The views from this bar are ! There's live music or a DJ - sometimes both. Lots of room to dance and plenty of seating to lounge, eat and drink, or just people watch. This bar also hosts a range of people from newly-minted 21YOs to elderly traveling couples, and everyone in between. There's no dress code, so you'll see jeans and Ts or people in their cocktail-best. A few things to know: - Make reservations for the weekend if you can, especially if you're a larger group. - Plan to wait for your food. - For groups they require a single card to be put on file before ordering (unless you're charging it to your room). - They don't split checks. - Their auto-gratuity for groups is 22%. - It's a rooftop, it's windy. (My chips actually blew off my plate a couple of times, but they brought more).

Came here on a Saturday, dance floor was nice and full, there was ppl everywhere but it didn't feel crowded. This place is so spacious and the aesthetic is gorgeous. Definitely felt right at home with the belico music . Drinks here were delicious I'm a Paloma girl so it can go good or really bad and they nailed it perfectly to my taste. The views from up there are absolutely gorgeous at night I can't wait to come back . I wish we would've got the hosts' && our servers' names they were both amazing , super welcoming and polite

Cute rooftop bar. The drinks were tasty and the wings were served fresh and as ordered. Would come back if ever back in phoenix. Our server was attentive but not overbearing which we appreciated since just stop by for late night drinks.

The drinks were okay; got an espresso martini- very obvious it's just a mix for $16 I expect real espresso! The decor is great the view is awesome as well. The service very good attentive and thorough.

It was busy, but not packed, which made the service stand out more than it should have. I had to ask for water twice, never got a refill, and overall felt largely ignored--minimal eye contact, no real warmth, just an impersonal feel that didn't match the space. It felt like a place that may be a bit of a victim of its own success--popularity has grown, but delivery hasn't fully kept pace. Part of the appeal here is the permanent taco truck outside, which I know from past visits is excellent, and I love the truck's outspoken, unapologetic support for immigrants. That said, the cocktail itself was excellent. I was specifically looking for a coffee-based drink before heading to another event, and the Cambures al Estilo Foster delivered on flavor. It was tiny, though--served in a small stemmed glass, gone in a few sips. It did the job, but some may find the portion underwhelming for the price. No major complaints, but nothing pulling me back either. I'm adding a fourth star on a bit of a hunch--I'd like to think they can dial it back in if I return.

However, after attempting to reach out to the company via their online platform with no response, I feel I have no other choice but to share my experience here in hopes that it will finally be addressed. On April 13th, I sat at the bar and ordered a glass of wine. As I continued to search the menu to eventually order food the bartender had informed me of a special that gave me a bottle of wine for half the price, so I asked him to go ahead and pick a red wine. He delivered the bottle and as I started to enjoy my very first sips of the first pour, I continued to browse the menu to decide what to eat. While browsing, I noticed a roach crawling on the bar top in front of me and making its way around my wine glass and bottle before going back behind the bar where all garnishes are kept. I quietly but immediately alerted the bartender and he asked me what I would like him to do. I told him that I truthfully had no answer as I have never experienced this before but I would give him discretion to do what he thinks is right. He understood and apologized stating that there is recent construction behind the bar and they have been having an issue. He approached the end of the bar where I was sitting and pulled out a can of Raid and sprayed the area where I was and in the direction the roach traveled. This completely ruined the evening, and I asked to close out. The bartender, while polite, asked what he could do to make it right. Being quite frantic and uncomfortable in the moment, I let him know that given the circumstances I would be leaving without ordering food and would not be taking the now untouched bottle of wine. Given that I had a nearly full bottle of wine that I could no longer enjoy due to the environment, I expected the bottle to be comped or something. Instead, I was only credited for the initial single glass and was charged full price for the bottle that I left behind and did not drink. I understand that pest control issues can happen unexpectedly in the industry, which is why I didn't want to make a scene or immediately jump to a negative public review. I wanted to give management the opportunity to address both the handling of the situation (spraying chemical pesticides next to a guest's beverage) and the billing. Sadly, the complete lack of acknowledgement or response to my inquiries over the last four weeks is what brings me here. I had hoped the leadership team would take these matters with more consideration. I truly hope the next guest is able to enjoy their experience more than I did, and that management takes this as an opportunity to improve their communication and protocol.

The double portions were really nice since our party was so large, we needed to split the food between 4 different grills (so each table got 2 grills each, feeding 6-7 people in total or 3-4 people per grill), but then we had to share the portions where we only got one serving. It wasn't bad, but to me, didn't make sense. The food was really good though; I didn't care too much about the soup, but the green sauce was SO good. Mixing a little with the soup was incredible. I thought the beef and pork were really good. I personally left the restaurant full, but many others in my party did not. I think it's a really good amount of food for 2 people, but when you push to 3+, you probably do not want to come hungry. Also--the live music at Pemberton next door is SO LOUD, you're going to be shouting at your table the entire night when you sit outside. I think I would come back if I wanted to show this place to someone who didn't live here, but it isn't on the top of my list for when I'm trying to eat out, but I will definitely consider this for special date night occasions. It is extremely expensive for what it is though. For $70+ you risk the chance of leaving not full which SUCKS.
