Don't sleep on the GOAT di an pho! I appreciated how they used a wider bowl to get you to appreciate the clear broth. Good portion of different meats in the pho dac biet. Best part is a large pho comes with a free iced coffee (I believe +$1 for viet iced coffee, which ngl was a little too chocolate-y for me) and you can take home the chopsticks!

This place has gotten all the hype recently on social media and while it was decent, I wouldn't say it's enough to warrant all the hype. For starters, there's plenty of parking, they were running a promotion of getting a free vietnamese iced coffee (no substitutions) with your meal, and yes, you get to keep the chopsticks if you so please. Service was quick and place was large and clean. What was lacking was the flavor in the broth. It was good, but not incredible as many have said. Maybe I'm just used to deep, complex flavor in my broth, but this just didn't do it for me. Quite a few of the meat pieces were pretty dry and definitely needed sauce, but the one standout meat piece was the brisket, which was nice and tender. Overall, it's a decent spot if you're in the plaza, but there are plenty of other great pho spots in the Bellaire area.

So glad we finally got to try this place! Tried to come a few times when they first opened and they were either sold out or the wait was a few hours. There is ample parking in the back, but can get full sometimes. We came around 9PM on a weekday so it was fairly empty. The restaurant has a great interior, very aesthetic and spacious. The service was quick and everyone was so nice and accommodating to any requests we had. They have S, L, XL sizes for their pho bo. We ordered the L pho tai and XL pho tai bo vien. The L was the perfect portion for me and I think the S wouldn't have been enough - good if you want something lighter or maybe for kids. The pho broth was clear and flavorful and the meat was decent quality. It's not the best pho I've had, but was solid and something I'd come back to! For drinks we got the bac xiu la dua (pandan foam), ca phe sua daddy (the original viet coffee), and sua dau nanh lanh (iced soymilk). Coffee was nice and strong! At the time we went, there was a special going on where you get a free coffee for any Large bowl of pho, which was really nice! I really liked the high-quality chopsticks and how they encourage you to wrap them back up & take them home. Such a cute idea and I still use them! Highly recommend!

5 stars mainly for amazing service, nice ambience, and coffee! Tri, our waiter, was attentive and friendly throughout the dining experience. Di An Pho was busy even before noon. Initially waited for a table but got offered bar seating sooner instead, which we didn't mind. Ordered pho tai. Not the best broth ever but it was still a solid bowl (4 stars). They have a promo for free ca phe if you get a large bowl. Ca phe muoi (salted coffee) was my favorite! Ube ca phe & pandan bac xiu were pretty good as well! It's cute that you leave with a chopstick souvenir!

Went here to meet up with some friends. Didn't realize it was their re-grand opening for the restaurant. They were giving away free shirts to the first 100 customers. Guess it was just good timing for us. They had a special going on if you ordered a pho, you got a regular Vietnamese coffee for free. The restaurant itself isn't too big due to the design of the place. Service was quick and fast. I got a pho with brisket and meatball and a regular Vietnamese coffee. Overall, it had a nice taste, but it was too fatty. The coffee had a nice balance of bitterness and sweetness. The parking lot is on the smaller side, and they share it with multiple other shops. So come a little early to find a space.

Solid pho spot on Bellaire! Although located more west from all the other Chinatown spots, it's worth a drive. Can't say I tried their chicken pho (which is why I'm reserving my last star), but their house special pho (P6) was not a disappointment. If you order a large pho, you get a free coffee! So we ordered the viet coffee with ube foam and the bac xiu with pandan foam. Both were really good. The bac xiu is slightly creamier than the viet coffee. You can definitely taste the flavors of ube and pandan in their cold foams. Would recommend trying. Ambiance is nice. It's bright and clean. The service is quick and they were nice to answer any questions. Also by the way, you get to keep the chopsticks. Parking was okay, but if it's at peak hour, I think it could be full and hard to park. Overall, great experience at a reasonable price and would definitely come back again. Thanks, Di An Pho!

I love this pho spot! When you walk into the restaurant you are greeted warmly by the staff and shown where to sit. The interior is decorated so cutely especially because it's tet season. I got the large pho with meat balls, fatty brisket, and lean brisket. Even though that wasn't on the menu my server Henry was able to accommodate me which I appreciated greatly. He was so sweet and helped me with my order and checked up on me to make sure everything was good. The pho had the perfect flavor and I could tell that they really put their love into the broth. The flavor of the meat was deep and soothing after a long day. What I also loved is that if you order a large pho then you get a free Vietnamese coffee to go with it. Their coffee was perfect; strong but sweet. Will definitely be back again!

Came during the opening when it was 50% off, so it made the drive deep into Alief more palatable. The line at the time was crazy but there was comfortable seating. Plenty of parking in the back. Food-wise, I don't think the pho particularly stood out. Pho was as expected. The, at the time, $17 for an XL was CRAZY to me, when you can find similar sizes sub-$15 easily. And then the portions didn't look like a large to me. I got the pho tai bo vien (filet and meatballs), and it was only 6 ball-quarters, again CRAZY. Service was okay, and they do everything off the ipad. Keeping your chopsticks is kinda a nice plus, though I'd rather not keep them, and just shave $1-2 off my pho.

I'm happy to say that we got a new go-to pho spot after visiting Di An Pho! First of all, they put a lot of effort into making the interior of this place really beautiful and festive for the season! The menu, place setting and utensils were perfectly placed on the table. The server was very helpful and asked us if it was our first time visiting. He explained recommendations and told us their current promo of buying an XL pho gets you an included coffee. I ordered the P7 Pho Ribeye and it was delicious!! They also did not hold back with the beef slices! It was protein packed and opened my face up with the chili oil and sriracha we asked on the side. This place is also conveniently next to a Chase, dessert and even a claw machine arcade. It's a great spot for any occasion.

I'm impressed with this place! For the price, you get very fresh quality pho with a great selection of different options! Got the Pho Tai Bo Vien here and they definitely don't skimp out like most pho restaraunts do for the beef balls and meat. Even for a large bowl, it's definitely plentiful! Generous amount of vegetables as well They were running a promotion where you get free viet coffee with the purchase of any large size bowl. Add a extra dollar fee and youre able to add any foam like salted cheese foam, ube, or pandan foam. I opted for the Pandan and it was very light to my surprise. Definitely not overpowering at all especially when mixed which to me is perfect! Restaraunt is clean, service is great and very attentive. Plenty of seats inside and plenty of parking outside. I'd recommend it!

Don't let the bowl fool you! The bowl may seem big but the portion of meat and noodles they give is ok. I ordered the signature combination meats pho large size and I only felt just normal full like there's food in my body now I don't feel hungry. I could definitely finish an X-Large bowl haha Overall, the broth is pretty clear and good flavor, they offer fish sauce on the side if you like to add more yourself. Veggies are very fresh. I like the interior is very modern and aesthetic, spacious and comfy seats, also got the hook on the table side for purses/bags. Friendly service and lots of workers working and always checking up on us. It's a go to spot for the atmosphere and vibe but probably not my top choice for pho quality.

Heard stories about the owner hard working ethics and passion for opening up his own restaurant . We finally Had a chance to try it . The broth was flavorful and delicious. Staffs was amazing and even the owners husband and wife was so sweet they came out to greet and took pictures with us . Even gave us their t shirts out for free to us . It was a great moment and a great meal . Btw the coffee was also good and will come back again since their broth was very clean .

Service is ordinary, she speaks little English but can get by ordering, we order first at the counter the sit anywhere. Braised egg is 2 for $3.50, salty but expected since it's marinated. Came out steaming hot, and yolk was not overly cooked and dry, not bad. Starting with the Chinese hamburger I felt sad and know not to expect too much from the other dishes we ordered. First the meat look different than what others have posted before, and it was kinda dry and too salty to eat. There was no other spice, only the meat juice flavor. The bun they use was stale to eat. Traditional way of making this should be the flaky oily pancake, or at least make the buns softer to eat. The mutton stew was clear and very heartwarming to drink on a cold day. But the portion is super small for the price. The glass noodles were gone in literally two bites. I had none to share with my boyfriend. This dish come with the burger bun too that you can soak them in the soup so I guess this is the extra carb make up for the less noodles. Oil splash noodle is their specialty? It was good but didn't wowed me. Noodles are chewy and well cooked, came with lots of bean sprouts. The sauce is flavorful and actually not too oily which I enjoyed more. You can add the beef for an extra charge, it's the regular braised beef, was just ok. I find it funny that their all food arts on the wall look nothing like the actual way they serve it.

On my most recent visit we ordered mapo tofu with pork intestines off the specials menu - a hybrid of two of my favorite Sichuan-style dishes. The blend of bouncy, savory morsels amidst tender, saucy tofu was at once revolutionary and so obvious; why hadn't I yet seen this at any other restaurant? And sure, innards may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's important for you to know that none of my past orders from the 50+ item menu have ever failed me, whether enjoyed in the restaurant or at home. Maybe you'd prefer the aromatic, classic, perfectly balanced three-cup chicken? Or the sweet-skinned duck, glazed so delicately that specks of sugar crystal threaten to jump off onto the plate as you pick up a juicy slice with your chopsticks? And if you're vegetarian, might you consider the punchy garlic eggplant or the wok-kissed string beans? I could go on. Do yourself a favor and come see for yourself, though I'd recommend parallel parking on the neighborhood streets behind the restaurant rather than the rocky parking lot, to save you some trouble. Bring friends and chow down family style - you'll need help covering as much of the menu as you can, but you'll definitely have to come back to try everything.

She immediately asked what we wanted in a rude tone, which set an uncomfortable atmosphere from the start. There was a sign on the table advertising a "free appetizer" if you take a photo and tag the restaurant on social media. I followed the instructions exactly as stated, but when I mentioned it, the server initially refused to honor the promotion. After I pointed out the sign, she appeared upset and walked away. I saw she went to speak to another employee and cracked a smiled and looked over. She later returned and offered a small discount instead. The issue wasn't about the money or the discount, it was the principle. The promotion was clearly advertised, and I simply followed the restaurant's own policy. It was disappointing to feel like the restaurant was reluctant to honor something they were actively promoting. I hope management addresses this because customer service and consistency with advertised promotions make a big difference in the overall dining experience.
