Their customer service is the worst! I had no problems whatsoever when it was FrontPoint but as…read moresoon as it changed to Alert360 things went down the hill. FrontPoint always provided the panel's battery replacement and new sensors for free, forget about it with Alert360. Whenever I tried to contact them to get assistance or to talk to a representative it took me about 30 minutes to be able to find a phone number to call them. Once I had them on the phone their assistance was of no help, some of the agents were even curt and didn't see to care about my issue. For financial reasons I had to cancel the service, last thing I remembered I was told with FrontPoint that there were no contracts and could cancel at any time without problems. Well, since moving to Alert360 it seems that one is under a contract since you have to give them 30 days notice to cancel or else you will be charged. Since I cancelled at the beginning of September they charged me for the month, ok that's fine, but I gave them my notification before October and guess what?! They went ahead and charged me for the month with no service! Ha! I called them twice to get the charge refunded (the woman that answered was pretty rude by the way), last agent I spoke to told me the refund should've been made right away on my first call! He said the refund would be posted in my back account within 5-7 days...it's already half month and no amount has been refunded so I had to dispute the charge which is still in process. Please don't trust this people and their business practices, they will screw you up any chance they get and you won't see a penny if you are asking for money back! **UPDATE: I received a call from one their representatives on October 29 telling me they had sent me a check on October 16 and I should get it shortly. Well, it is now November 7 and I still haven't received any check yet. I submitted a review at the ConsumerAffairs website and the BBB. My bank is also disputing and investigating this issue. I still don't recommend them and wouldn't go back to them even if their service was free... **UPDATE (11/22/24): The company called me to tell me that the check they had sent went back to them due to them missing to write down the apartment number (you would think they have the complete address since they're a security systems company! The irony!), fine, I gave the correct address and the agent says they'll resent the check. Next day, I received another call saying they couldn't send the check since they don't have the complete address! This company is just joking with me at this point! What type of training is the staff getting? They don't know how to write down notes in one's file??? It's ridiculous, a joke and a waste of time! My bank still dealing with the dispute (about two months ongoing now!) which they shouldn't have to...shm. I have updated every single complaint I put out there about this company (Google, Yahoo, BBB, Consumer Affairs, Yelp, etc.) so people will realize the kind of business this is and to PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND FIND SOMETHING BETTER!

I know we're probably small potatoes to him; we only wanted two security cameras. Apparently, we're just not worth his time. But a call or email to tell me he was too busy for us right now would have been a nice thing to do. In those 6-1/2 years I can count service interruptions on less than one hand. Heck, they stayed on line during the 2021 "Snowmageddon." Yes, you have to buy your equipment to receive their microwave connection. They install it and Lonny (sp.) knows his stuff. Some folks will scoff at a wireless connection. When we moved into Woodcreek North, there were only one of two wireless ISPs around. Anvil was highly recommended by our neighbors. Since the installation in 2015, the cable guys moved into the neighborhood. Let's just say that my first paragraph describes why I stayed with Anvil even when cheaper alternatives with greater bandwidth arrived. It's called quality. Quality of the people there and quality of the installation and equipment they use.

They came out and evaluated the site and did the installation well. They use high-quality Ubiquity point to point wifi equipment to remotely distribute service. Your mileage will vary however based on a lot of factors. As someone in IT, point to point wifi can get sketch if the conditions/site isn't correct. The only downside is the price. They are pretty expensive for the bandwidth you get... but with low round-trip times, they are still head-over-heels better than satellite internet. I've only had a few minor outages since getting the service setup.

I wanted some hard wired security cameras since WiFi seems to always be spotty these days. They not only gave me great quality cameras that I can view from my TV, I can also view them remotely from my phone. This company also installed a really cool alarm panel that displays my photos when not in use, a keyless entry lock on my front door, and I can remotely open and close my garage door.. I'm gonna ask them back soon for the carbon monoxide detector since we have a fire place, hopefully a sensor on my driveway to tell me when someone passes it, and connect my monitoring system to my irrigation system and my outdoor lights to make them remote as well. So impressed by what this company and its owner can do and how professional they are on the phone and on the job!!

It was a lot to cover properly. I already had a SimpliSafe alarm system and didn't want to hire a company that wanted to sell me monthly video monitoring. After much research and reading reviews I hired Vital Security. Now, I'm a genius. They installed an 8 channel system this week. The cameras are HD and IR. The resolution quality is amazing, even in the dark! We had the monitor and DVR set up in my wife's office. And though she was not entirely sold on the need for such a system she is now a huge fan. Yesterday, she saw some city workers approach the side of our house and went outside to see what they were up to. Later, she came back to her office and noticed a package was sitting on the front porch. She loves it. The phone app is great and easy to view all the cameras live. I was able to get a quick and fair quote from them as they utilized a satellite map of our home. They arrived on time they day we had scheduled, even though a big storm was coming.
