I stumbled upon Devocion after walking around the Flatiron district. They source their coffee from Colombia. I ordered a latte - it was fresh, and had a really nice flavor. It was strong without being too intense. Their décor is sleek and elegant, creating an inviting atmosphere. The shop has some greenery, giving it a slightly tropical vibe. I believe there are a few locations around the city and in Brooklyn. This spot had some seating options. There are some pastries - I didn't really paid attention to their food offering. But if I am not mistaken, their pastries are Colombian inspired. Overall, I really enjoyed their coffee.

Coffee at Devoción is always a pleasure. The beans are special. The cafe was packed but we managed to get seats. I had an iced latte and Raj had a pistachio iced latte which he said was delicious. He also had a coffee that had no milk which resembled a pour over. It looked rich to me. Only one pastry was left.

Tea, pastry and open shelf outside

Very popular coffee shop so prepare for a queue as well as scramble to find an open table. Popular with a variety of locals for fun meetings and catching up. Drip coffee pricing is reasonable and tea selection was good and served VERY HOT (so grab that sleeve). Selection of quick grab pastries and things that could be heated quickly.

There are two Devoción locations within a short walk from each other in Flatiron/Nomad (on opposite sides of Madison Square Park), and I visited both in a day this past weekend. This location on E 20th St near Broadway is the much larger location. It had lots of seating (although almost all of it was taken at 9am on a Sunday morning) and fast service. The coffee is great. Devoción has partners in Colombia, dry-mills the coffee at a facility in Bogotá, and roasts the coffee in Brooklyn. You're guaranteed some freshly roasted coffee beans for sure. We ordered two cappuccinos - one extra dry and one regular, and two that were virtually indistinguishable, but I enjoyed my not extra cappuccino because the coffee is so good. The cafe is beautiful, the coffee is freshly roasted and responsibly sourced and well-made, and it's at least possible to get a seat here. That makes it a pretty great coffeeshop in my book.

Flat white

I popped in thinking I'd get a coffee and a pastry and leave but I ended up spending a little more time than I anticipated. The actual food/drink prep didn't take long, but because this spot was so well designed, I couldn't resist staying. My flat white was exceptionally done (the coffee itself, milk steaming, and latte art were all 10/10) and I enjoyed my dulce de leche kouign amann. There's plenty of seating and a nice bathroom so I'd definitely come here to get some work done.

This is a great spot to work or catch up with a friend over coffee. Lots of seating inside but it does get packed. All seats and table were taken when we stopped by. The place is dim with concrete walls but it was warm. The staff is friendly and the coffee I got was quite good. Cream and sweetener is self served and off the the side.

Omg new favorite coffee! My palette for coffee has developed and this coffee place is soo good! My cousin recommended this place and I still think about their coffee. There's always a long line (for a reason). I am a cappuccino or iced americano person. Next time I'm going to try an iced drink!!

was on a hunt for a coffee shop with ample seating and found devocion - this gorgeous spot had tons of tables and couches in a dark wood almost Victorian feeling environment - their was a line but it moved quickly and I had a delicious drink in no time - I got an americano for (4.50) with a splash of almond milk. A SPLASH. and this drink was so smooth and creamy. whatever almond milk they use is quality - my friend got a pistachio milk latte and loved it. so fun they have that choice for alternative milk! - it's Colombian espresso and such amazing quality. not burnt at all - they sadly do upcharge for alt milks and do not seem to have many sizes or asked me what size I want

Great coffee, friendly staff, cool decor. Got a leek and parm cheese puff pastry heated up to go with my latte and it was a perfect pairing.

The PERFECT place to work from with the most awesome hot chocolate and double chocolate chip cookie. This place is stunning but also comfy. Greenery hangs from the walls making it almost tranquil even though it's fairly loud with the bustling of young professionals. The person who helped me at the counter was amazing. Sensing I was coming in to work they asked if I needed WiFi. This is important because you need your receipt to log in to their network. Your receipt will have a code which allows access. The coffee sitch here is lost on me. Just know it looks like they take it very serious. See pics for what I'm talking about because I have know idea what they are doing here. Freshly ground coffee maybe? Great to know this spot

Went this morning and it was really crowded at 9 am with a lot of people on their laptops. It was hard to find a table so we had to sit on two seats in the communal area. Still super cute and line takes around 10 minutes. The latte was really good and prices are pretty comparable to other coffee shops in the area.

The drinks were amazing, the right balance of all in the drink. The staff were super nice and genuinely real. The scene in there was super low in the best way possible. The ambience was super comforting!

Papaya soursop, gooseberry, Andean lime, lemon verbena Aromatica

Came here early on a Saturday morning and managed to pass by the storefront twice because it was so small and of nearby construction obscuring it. Inside, the decor is dark and chic, and there's quite a bit of seating, though it was all full. The wait for ordering as well as for the drink was short. I got the Papaya Soursop, Gooseberry, Andean Lime and Lemon Verbena Aromatica. It was piping hot and fragrant, which was a nice pick-me-up for the cold morning. It didn't particularly wow me -- the flavors were not that distinct and just tasted generally fruity and floral. As someone that's not a coffee person and relies heavily on non-coffee options, I'd maybe go somewhere else for a morning drink. It was a cute shop, though!

The coffee is fine but the line is BRUTAL...only go if you have lots of time to kill. Employees appear fairly indifferent to the chaos.

They have a water dispenser, two locking bathrooms, and plenty of outlets, so I already have a very positive view of Grace Street as a good place to rest. The food is alright. It's a bit overpriced and the teas are not good quality. However, the desserts are delicious. I usually split a slice of basque cheesecake with my friends. The regular and matcha have both been good in my experience. I don't like chocolate cake, so I haven't tried that variety. I wish the pumpkin was available in the smaller size too! I've tried their boba, and it isn't good. The hot teas are okay but not great. They're pretty much just syrup and milk. I would avoid the drinks and just get the desserts! I haven't personally tried the bingsoo, but I've heard good things. The waffle is alright--all in all, come here to recharge and for the basque cheesecake!

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.

They're a little pricey, but each donut is a pretty hefty ring of chewy glutinous rice flour batter. I had them the following morning, and the donuts still tasted fresh. There was a little bit of oiliness from the frying, but it did not taste off or too greasy. I think this is from the meticulous frying process and good management of the oil.
