The coffee was indeed very good but the location is meh, no cool coffee shop vibes to justify the $11 price tag for a small coquito latte. Pricing is a bit misleading as you see one price on the wall ($8) but then are instructed to pick your beans, and it's not really clear there's an upcharge. The guys were nice but could have done without the sniffles. At least wear a mask, dude. It's unsettling to have someone sniffling while handling your cup during flu season. The location is wheelchair accessible inside a ghost kitchen facility and there is an outdoor seating area. read more

The lady who helped us was so nice. There was no one ahead of us so we were helped so fast. I didn't see anyone else working and she worked very fast. We ordered an iced coffee and an iced chai. Both tasted good. The cheese danish was delicious. I wasn't a big fan of the drinks coming in the bags but that's not a huge deal. Just couldn't get a bigger size drink which we were hoping for. But it was a good experience and a nice change from a typical coffee spot. read more

I walked through Times Square to come to this location, that's how good I've heard this place was! Even at prime time sun during a hot day, this place is clutch. My friend told me about the coquito latte and as a lover of all things coconut, it exceeded my expectations! Light hints of cinnamon with more generous portions of coconut, this drink was the real deal! I appreciate that you can choose your roast with your drink and felt it was appropriate to get the rum roast. The guys working here were fantastic as well, you can tell they really care about this place! I don't know when I'll be around Times Square again, but if so, 787 will be seeing me again! read more

I tried the horchata iced latte and it was flavorful, creamy, and unique. I have to admit, I thought it was kind of silly that it came in a plastic bag, but I can't complain too much. The barista was very nice and warm, she helped me pick out the horchata latte (a great choice). I do wish there was indoor seating, especially since it was so hot the day I visited. Overall, a fun spot to grab a coffee on the go with a great menu, worth trying if you're in the area. read more

It was a decent cup (or er, bag) of coffee, but it was overpriced. Um, $11 for an iced latte? Never again. I did enjoy the iced horchata latte. It was sweet but not cloyingly so, and it did have the flavor of a horchata. But was it $11 good? Um, no. The employees were nice, though I wish that they were upfront that the "most popular" choice of coffee - the rum infused beans - came with a $3 surcharge. With another choice of bean, the latte would have been $8, which isn't cheap but is more reasonable for a latte in the city. read more

Strange hole in the wall place. Shares space with a ghost kitchen, making it feel desolate and out of place. No atmosphere at all. Coffee was ok. Be ready to wait; with no drip coffee and even with two baristas it took about 20 minutes to get an Americano. Lots of better coffee shops in the area. Staying in the city we were looking for a cup of Joe to start the day. My sister found this place pop up which was very close to the hotel. It's a small coffee booth for this location but they do have several cafe locations around the city as well. I liked that you have the option of what type of coffee beans to make your coffee. There is an up charge (currently $3) for the rum or whiskey types or you can choose the standard supreme for no extra charge. Now after trying all three I like the rum beans the best. I thought the latte options were so unique. I got the Coquito latte with the rum beans. Wow oh wow was it amazing! I liked how it truly captured the flavor of being like a coquito. Delicious flavored lattes. Personally I love the marzipan one which is made with peanut candy. The iced ones come in fun plastic bags. Service is friendly. The only issue is it's extremely extremely slow especially there is one particular barista who keeps making my drink wrong repeatedly (maybe she is new or could be partly a language barrier, not sure). If they speed up the service to anything comparable to any other cafe it has so much potential. Would recommend, as long as you're not pressed for time and there is no line. read more

Coworker and I decided to check out 787 and enjoyed the chat with Jonathan and the lattes we ordered. I got the iced horchata latte using the whiskey espresso and coworker got the classic latte with the rum espresso. Coworker originally ordered a matcha latte but they ran out. We didn't know there was an up charge for the rum and whiskey espresso so keep that in mind (about $2-3 extra). Also didn't know my drink would come in a plastic pouch which I didn't mind. I like to give mom and pop cafés the business instead of mainstream coffee shops. This was a great find and my go to every morning during my stay in NYC. Beans shipped in from Puerto Rico and available for purchase. Highly recommend and would definitely return on my next stay. read more

I went to buy a coffee, at 3:18 pm today Wednesday, January 28, the guy who was there was attending without much desire, I understand it because this weather is to stay at home, the bad thing came when he was looking at his phone threw the rag with which the filter holder of the espresso machine is cleaned on the floor, a floor that already looked quite dirty. He picked it up and had no qualms about continuing to clean the filter holder with the same dirty cloth. I asked him why he didn't change the rag and he didn't want to answer me. Expensive coffee, but I'd buy it again. I got an horchata latte and it was fantastic. It was the perfect balance of cinnamon, milk, sweetness and espresso. I always really appreciate a latte where I can distinctly taste the flavor they're trying to make while still being able to taste the espresso, which proves to be a difficult task. However, 787 Coffee did just that and for that reason I definitely think they deserve the Best Coffee Shops title they claim. This location is cute on the outside, but just be warned that it is part of a digital food court so it will be busy inside and there is minimal seating. The wait was a little longer than I would have liked, but the friendliness of the staff made up for it. I look forward to visiting their other locations in the future! read more

The cafe is located as an offset to a hotel lobby. A little confusing on where to enter. Once there staff was pleasant. Although I ordered a regular coffee with cream, the barista made me an Americano with cream as they didn't have regular coffee at that time (2pmish).
