Iced horchata latte, really awkward bag to carry around lol but the finger holes at the top worked
    Rachel G.

I tried the horchata iced latte and it was flavorful, creamy, and unique. I have to admit, I thought it was kind of silly that it came in a plastic bag, but I can't complain too much. The barista was very nice and warm, she helped me pick out the horchata latte (a great choice). I do wish there was indoor seating, especially since it was so hot the day I visited. Overall, a fun spot to grab a coffee on the go with a great menu, worth trying if you're in the area.

It was a decent cup (or er, bag) of coffee, but it was overpriced. Um, $11 for an iced latte? Never again. I did enjoy the iced horchata latte. It was sweet but not cloyingly so, and it did have the flavor of a horchata. But was it $11 good? Um, no. The employees were nice, though I wish that they were upfront that the "most popular" choice of coffee - the rum infused beans - came with a $3 surcharge. With another choice of bean, the latte would have been $8, which isn't cheap but is more reasonable for a latte in the city.

First coffee I got in NYC! Service was quick, we had to go inside where the storefront shares a building with a strange ghost kitchen food pickup situation? So there were a lot of people waiting for food inside which was kind of odd. And the coffee was just okay. But the cups are cute!

Great coffee!! Great service. Lots of choices in NY but im glad I made this choice..When I think about coffee its not something that I get excited about..but this coffee is DIFFERENT! The next time im in NY, ill be excited to return for a cup..

Cutesy walk in place to grab a delicious coffee and empanada(if they're not sold out). There's no seating indoors at this location but I did enjoy their Coquito latte iced. Service was quick and efficient.

Fast service got the horchata latte. Small pop up kind of hidden since maps shows it about 100 feet off.

    Latte w/ whiskey infused beans

Ordered a latte listed at $6 on the menu, but they had three specialty beans that came with an undisclosed extra charge--ended up costing me $9 for a 12 oz cup. Coffee was great, but definitely pricey. *Latte w/ Whiskey Infused Beans $9 | 8/10: solid, great coffee but pricey There are multiple locations, so it's convenient if you need something quick, but not a must-visit. Also tried their cold brew another day at a different location, which came in a plastic pouch. It was quite bitter and had a sour finish.

Staying in the city we were looking for a cup of Joe to start the day. My sister found this place pop up which was very close to the hotel. It's a small coffee booth for this location but they do have several cafe locations around the city as well. I liked that you have the option of what type of coffee beans to make your coffee. There is an up charge (currently $3) for the rum or whiskey types or you can choose the standard supreme for no extra charge. Now after trying all three I like the rum beans the best. I thought the latte options were so unique. I got the Coquito latte with the rum beans. Wow oh wow was it amazing! I liked how it truly captured the flavor of being like a coquito. I would definitely be going back again.

Coworker and I decided to check out 787 and enjoyed the chat with Jonathan and the lattes we ordered. I got the iced horchata latte using the whiskey espresso and coworker got the classic latte with the rum espresso. Coworker originally ordered a matcha latte but they ran out. We didn't know there was an up charge for the rum and whiskey espresso so keep that in mind (about $2-3 extra). Also didn't know my drink would come in a plastic pouch which I didn't mind. Would recommend if you like lattes.

    Vanilla latte

Hi my name is Lauren. I ordered a hot vanilla latte and a hot matcha at around 12:10 on Friday January 2nd. It is very possible that I lost my ring in the coffee shop. It's a silver ring with a couple gem stones. If you find it, please let me know so we can find a way to get it back! It was my grandmothers ring and is very important to me. The coffee was amazing thank you

I've always loved 787 Coffee and when I knew they were opening a location in the theater district around the time I was coming to see a show, had to get pre-show caffeination! This is a pickup window spot located in a new ghost kitchen food hall called Backstage Food Hall. I had been wanting to try the Tres Leches latte. This place had only been open 2 days and they didn't have supplies to make iced drinks so we ordered them hot. Order with oat milk, it's perfect!

    Latte and Americano

Coffee was good but hard to justify the price tag. Comes in a cool plastic bag container although a cup with bag would likely have been easier to hold. Was educational to learn about the beans (especially alcohol infused ones) but didn't taste very different.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.

I believe Seoul Sweets is currently the only spot in NYC specializing in ssal cakes (korean rice…read moreflour cake), and I love how light and not too sweet it is. Made with rice flour and egg whites, it is so airy, and literally feels like cutting through a cloud. Plus, it's gluten-free! A perfect little cake for a small celebration They also make the prettiest korean dessert sets, alongside bingsu, dubai chewy cookies, and einspanner. They're seriously always keeping up with the trends! *Black Sesame Ssal Cake $16.5 ** My top pick. The black sesame layer on top was the richest. Super nutty without being too heavy. The sponge and cream cheese had a subtle black sesame flavor. It reminded me of the cream in their black sesame einspanner. *Mugwort Ssal Cake $16.5 * This one was surprisingly rich. The mugwort had a strong earthy, herby flavor, while the plain cream cheese layer helped cut through the richness. *Mango Ssal Cake $16.5 This was a bit of a miss to me as there wasn't any mango-flavored sponge or mango puree inside. It was just a plain rice flour cake with a few slices of fresh mango on top. Though I could really taste the mild, clean rice flavor in this one. *Da-On Sang Set $26 ** A must-order if it's your first time here! The mochi was super soft, and the strawberry was so ripe and sweet. The yak-gwa and joo-ak were chewy, sticky, and just sweet enough, especially paired with the tea that came with the set. *Black Sesame Einspanner $8.5 *Mugwort Einspanner $8.5 The cream was lighter compared to other einspanners I've had. The mugwort one was bursting with earthy flavor. Definitely try it if you're a mugwort fan. The black sesame was alright. I personally wish it was a little richer.
