This was the first food stop we made on our NYC trip. The service here is pretty good and quick. The cafe itself is clean and set up in a very unique way. I ordered the ricotta toast and it was absolutely delicious! My iced latte was also very good!
Ordered an iced latte thinking it'll be $5.75 but end up paying $7.57. Adding a $1 tip and my iced latte was almost $8.
Interesting underground coffee shop in the middle of Penn Station. This place isn't the best WFH place. Music is super loud so can't really take calls. Also, with typical nyer style there are not many seats inside. This place is so hustling and bustling all the time. Ended up getting a drip coffee which was nice. It was great that the barista puts in the cream instead of leaving it up to the customer. The banana toast was a bit too sweet for my tastes.
First off this place has amazing coffee. Tried both the French vanilla latte and the Dulce de leche latte and they were both great! However the main reason to come to this coffee place over any other in the area is Monica!!! She has the best energy and is so sweet!!!!! I looked forward to seeing her in the morning. Made It my coffee place every morning while on a trip just to see her! She was my pick me up before my pick me up!!! So needed in this day and time!!!! Thank you Monica!
Quaint little coffee shop I found on my way to a client's office. Iced mocha was on point, and the servers were very polite and ready to assist! Loved the comfy ambiance of this place too! I'm planning on bringing my wife next time we're in the area to sit, relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee and some sweet treats!
Grabbed a quick coffee here on the way to a play. Not much room inside to hang out and read, etc. but there are a few spots. Coffee was good but a bit on the expensive side at about $9 for a latte. Probably in line with the going rate for the area. The latte was very good and the barista was very friendly.
We were looking for a coffee shop open after 6pm and came across this one! The sign alone makes it seem subpar but the interior was luxurious and high end! There are tall mirrors on the walls with industrial lamp sconces. This location was very clean and the staff was incredibly patient and kind. The coffee shop allegedly closed at 7pm but they weren't booting anyone out. I had the matcha latte with whole milk, it tasted more like whole milk, the matcha got lost. I'd encourage to get maybe a non dairy milk and sometimes that pairs better with the matcha. I also tried the dulce latte which was divine- highly recommend, not too sweet at all. The vanilla latte had an after note of bitterness almost?

A bearable taste but I would never order that from there again. The two stars are there for the cleanliness and good service. The place itself was very small; if someone made a shed into a coffee shop. About 4 people can sit in there at a time. But do not order matcha from there!
It's amazing the foreigners that want inclusivity, but don't know how to be inclusive themselves. This gentleman not only displayed racist motives, but a clear disdain for people of color. Im standing in line, was never once greeted or acknowledged, not only did this individual attempt to take the person who stood in line behind me first, but caught an attitude when I asked if I was invisible. Against my better judgement i still purchased an Iced Tea. One sip in, I realized it wasn't sweetened so I went back and I asked is this not sweetened and I was given an abrupt answer. Well what kind of syrup do you want? No mention of the flavors again no courtesy no customer service just pure sassy attitude.. so a young lady intervenes and gives me a simple syrup and I proceed to sit down. Now the location is very boutique so whispering is nonexistent. Rather than the two ladies diffuse the situation they proceed to gossip and listen to him berate me in his native tongue. So now i say out loud I understand everything you are saying and he proceeds to say he doesn't understand English. I visit these locations often throughout midtown and after this incident will no longer patronize this chain. Do better with your employees and teach them about being inclusive, especially for those not born on US Soil. I could have matched his ignorance but instead I will refrain from spending my hard earned money with a chain whose employees have a problem with my skin. Also since I was denied a refund I will be disputing with my bank!
I popped in at 3:30pm to try their espresso and found their coffee is supplied by La Columbe. The blend they use for espresso is called Nizza, from Brazil, Columbia, Nicaragua and Congo! I didn't know all this when I tried it as I like to just try the espresso and add what I think! It was clearly a medium roast and not dark or burnt. The first word that came to my mind was chocolate! I asked the barista about they coffee and we had a friendly conversation! Add in delicious coffee and a jolt of caffeine and life is good!
Food was good, service was extremely friendly, they complimented my wife's hair..but didn't say anything about minecoffee was outstanding quality Highly recommend!!
So cute and relaxing! I like the bright decor. The cashier was funny and the coffee was good. I went at 10am, after the rush hour, so not sure what it might be like earlier in the day, but I managed to snag a spot to sit and sip my coffee.
Really nice spot! This was across the street to our hotel and so it was a really fast quick walk. There was a couple of people inside but we ordered our drink and got it very quickly! I liked the matcha it was good but I bit bitter but nothing I couldn't work with. If we are in the area I would definitely go back! I didn't get any food because we already had breakfast plans but I would definitely try something
I have blood sugar issues so if I'm out and about it's best for me to have something to sip on. Was in area because my son likes watching trains ("rail fanning" as the kids say) at 42nd street station. I got a dulce de leche latte with oat milk. It was delicious. My son got the brownie cookie. They have stool seating against the walls , near outlets so you can charge your phone or even get some work done (saw a few with lap tops). Staff were kind and efficient. Would return. read more
Unfortunately, this wasn't a great experience. The space felt dirty, and the baristas seemed unsure about the menu and lacked knowledge of some of the items. I ordered the Iced Chai Latte with oat milk and a blueberry muffin, and both were pretty underwhelming. One of the items upset my stomach shortly afterward, though I can't say for certain which caused it. Combined with the mediocre service and lackluster food, it wasn't worth the visit. Le Cafe might be an NYC sleeper...Some of the best coffee in my opinion. I take my coffee and americanos black and Le Cafe might have one of the better Americanos I've had to date. And their food selection is incredible. It is now a part of my rotation when visiting. read more

Really cute coffee space in midtown. Met up with a close friend and had a latte and some pastries. The barista was nice and knowledgeable. The vibe was super chill and pleasant. I would definitely go back seeing as the coffee was really good and well balanced with the syrups used to make our rose latte. Totally should give it a shot for a meet cute! read more

The service the lovely. The cashier was helpful and nice. She didn't rush us, let us take our time and look over the menu. Surprisingly, we didn't get any drinks. We got food-The Express and Açaí bowl. The Express bagel was warm, fresh, and the perfect little lunch (I should've brought chips to satisfy my lunch haha). The açaí was almost too pretty to eat. Down artfully. We gobbled everything before heading to our broadway show. It was good food. Made in reasonable time and fresh. The cook made delicious food. read more

No customer service or what's so ever. Coffee tastes like super glue. I got three coffee today and they gave me a poor quality tray that almost crack while I was on my way back to my apartment which is only three minutes away. The coffee already splash out from the lid and everywhere on the lids, including my white shirt. I think this is the worst experience no one wants to experience. All they need is to provide a good quality tray so it doesn't crack. Will never come back again. read more

Cute cafe in the Times Sq area of NYC. I was visiting and needed a coffee fix stat! I saw this shop and decided to pop in. I got a medium drip coffee with cream which was about $5. The coffee was tasty and strong! I would come back to try their sweets next time. read more
Such a cute coffee shop in the middle of Manhattan, walking distance from Time Square. I absolutely loved this place. The ambiance was pretty cool. Chill and relaxed atmosphere with all white, calm colors. I just had a black coffee and love the taste. My friend go a latte and it was absolutely delicious as well. If you love yourself a good, quite place with great service this is your spot. read more

I honestly never leave reviews as I have worked in customer service but this specific location is so shady and I would be careful. Me and my sister visited this store earlier this week and they had some flyers of some deal they were having. The deal said that if we scan the qr code we would receive $7 off a purchase of 8 or more. We scanned the qr code even downloaded the app and created an account. When we went to go place the order the discount was not added. We had asked the baristas why it is not working and all they had to say was "We have never had this issue before" and " Just place the order they won't charge you". We should've walked out but we listened to the workers that obviously had no idea what they were talking about and placed the order. We were charged the full amount and the workers didn't seem to care that their "promotion" didn't work. One of the workers said that "oh the promotion might not be valid anymore". Well thank you for finding that out after you made us place the order and why do you have the promotion set out if it is invalid. Obviously the owner knows people will fall for it and is trying to scam people. When we tried to talk to costumer service they said that the promotion ended more than a month ago and that they can not do anything to help us. Why are flyers with this promotion still out a month after it ended and it had no information saying when it ended. This is very shady and it's honestly not about the 7 dollars just a waist of time and i wonder how many people they got with this. We would've gone to any other coffee shop. The coffee is mediocre at best and way overpriced for the smallest cup that is half ice. Honestly just disappointing and i've never ran into worse customer service. read more

I happen to be walking by this morning a young man was outside handing out free samples of iced coffee. I'm not an iced coffee drinker but, I came inside anyway. The cashier was polite. They did have a leak in the ceiling and it was dripping in the middle of the shop. They appeared to be cleaning it up. I ordered the seasonal Dulce de leche latte with oat milk. I was shocked that the oat milk/ coconut milk was an additional $1.00. Which is more than what Starbucks cost for non-dairy milk. Unfortunately, the latte was subpar in taste. I could only taste the oat milk. Dulce de leche has a distinct taste and flavor. I did not receive any of that taste in this latte. I truly feel like I wasted $6. They do serve breakfast foods and pastries. I am not sure if there doughnuts are from Dough but, they do look alike. I am not sure if I would go back. read more

Don't understand why the reviews are bad.. This cafe serves its purpose. The manager here is awesome, the barista is really fast and I never have to wait more than a minute for my coffee during rush hours. They also have trendy coffee menu like lavender, rose, matcha oat, which I was only able to see in Asian countries and certain asian cafes in lower side of Manhattan. And they taste awesome! The toasts are good but just keep in mind they are small and a bit expensive. But I definitely recommend their specialty coffee and latte. It's a lot better than other chain coffee chains and carry their own uniqueness. read more
