This is an absolutely stunning cafe on Park Avenue, about a 15-minute walk from Penn Station down 31st Street. Prices are very reasonable for NYC, with a cortado running less than $5. They do have some fancier drink options, as well as a few toasts and bagels. I got the Avocado Toast and added salmon, and it was less than $20. Super fresh and high-quality ingredients. Shockingly I was able to snag a table in the back for me and a friend. Maybe because it was a Monday, it wasn't too busy. Ordered: Iced Latte w Caramelized Vanilla (~$8) Cappuccino (~$6) Aya's take: I've heard Felix Roasting has good coffee but nobody told me it was a literal art museum inside!? This coffee shop is stunning and totally unexpected on Park Ave! It's very Victorian-inspired with vintage furniture and art frames throughout. I got the Iced Latte w Caramelized Vanilla, I think the caramelized vanilla would have been better appreciated in a hot latte rather than iced, so that's on me. It was still well-balanced, strong, and had a brûléed flavor from the caramelized vanilla. The Cappuccino was also made well; warm, creamy, and bold. Felix is officially of my new favorite coffee shops in NYC! read more

Gorgeous cafe. I had to wait for a seat to be available, but one was free by the time my drink was ready. They have cups "for here," which is nice. Seating is not meant for camping out to work but is nice for a short hang over a drink. The stylish room makes a simple coffee stop feel glamorous. There is wifi and water available. We stopped in for toast and a coffee before starting our day. The ambiance is so beautiful, it was a great place to people watch and relax. How have I missed this place for so long?!? I walked in and was immediately wowed by how gorgeous this cafe was. It transports you right to Europe. Beautiful arches, paintings, cushioned couches, large open space- this does not feel like NY. Top it off with delicious smooth coffee and we have a winner! This is coffee uniqueness. Beautiful place, the green and gold is gorgeous and the decor clearly sets it apart from any coffee shop I visited. I ordered and Americano, which was eh. A bit watered down, no cream. Lazy, at best. But, the marshmallow smoked coffee is just what Tik Tok ordered. Yes, it's designed for th and gimmick and $15 charge, but it is viralable. It also tastes good. I give this place a five, for the decor and originality even though you can find better basic coffees in other places. read more

Walked into Felix Roasting Co. thinking I'd just grab a cold brew... walked out in a full-blown relationship with a chocolate croissant. That thing was buttery, flaky, and had more layers than my last situationship. Also grabbed the avocado toast, which had so many toppings I swear it needed its own LinkedIn profile: sourdough, avocado, radish, pickled onion, chili, cilantro, mustard seed, Italian lemon olive oil, and Maldon salt. Very nice interior. Mood music was perfect volume, not overly loud. I guess the ideal place to meet people and chat. Was just there to spend an hour with the kid waiting for wife, so I didn't drink the filter coffee I had gotten, since already had coffee earlier. Just needed wifi for the kid to play on his tablet, lol. Wifi requires the code from the receipt and it was good for 1 hour only. I just gave the untouched cooled coffee to wife later on, and she loved it! Asked where I got it, she was impressed with it so I guess the coffee is great too and all worked out well in the end. read more

The beauty of living in NYC is you can just be out and about and hit up your gfs. Next thing you know you are having coffee and just walking around the best city in the world on a Sunday. It was one of those days. I left boxing and was walking home, but didn't quite want to go home yet. I hit up our group chat and met up with one of my gfs here. According to my gf, this place is an it spot or whatever, but it seemed like it didn't have much on the menu and the matcha was just a matcha. However, I will say that they make their own nut milk and it is a blend of various nuts which did make the matcha taste a bit unique. In this part of town, you can be hard pressed to find a cafe as spacious and aesthetically pleasing as Felix Roasting Co. I felt like I stepped into a different world, far away and free from the drudgery of Midtown. However their coffee left a lot to be desired. Both times I've ordered a latte here, it fell on the sour side, no better than my free office coffee. Felix Roasting does have a variety of tea options, but I wish they had more interesting coffee options too, besides the elaborate smores latte. I enjoyed their almond croissant before, but I wish they could've warmed it; they said they didn't have a microwave, so I waited till I returned to my office to warm and eat the pastry. read more

Absolutely loved the ambiance of this spot. Tried the special s'mores latte which was too expensive for what it was and I didn't really taste any smoke. But it was worth it for the experience. Honestly, this might be my favorite cup of coffee in the area. Every time I go, it's consistently excellent--smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality beans. The atmosphere is super chill, not pretentious, just a great spot to hang out and enjoy a really good drink. I've also bought their beans to brew at home, and they're just as good there too. I only cared about the caffeine but the folks I was with wanted to try one of their bagels as well, as you can see from the picture. Love the decor. The baristas are nice. The machine was broken so I couldn't get the s'mores latte. Got a matcha latte with their mixed nut milk. Milk tasted OK. The fig ricotta toast with prosciutto added was delicious. You can really taste the truffle oil. Wish there are more food options like the other Felix location! On the weekend, you did have to wait a while to get a seat. Overhead a lot of tech people around, meeting up trying to start up their companies. read more

This is a cute place right on Park Ave. The inside is gorgeous with a very Persian decor and almost modeled like Grand Central with the servicing in the center and different themed sitting areas in the front and the rear. The art is also very Persian with some portraits in the rear room and beautifully decorated wallpaper all over. I tried lox with bagels while sipping on tea. The lox was fresh however the bagel was pretty dry. For the location and the experience, this is a cool place. read more

Last time, I am trying something that is overhyped on TikTok. The taker is absolutely gorgeous and no one can deny that I could just stay there and sit and look at the decor all day but honestly that's all they do it. The coffee is average. The pastry menu is limited to one or two items and same for the sandwich menu to drop it off. The Wi-Fi set up is incredibly complicated with only one hour of free Wi-Fi and the service folks at the counter are not exactly super friendly. plenty of coffee shops in New York to try if you actually want food and coffee in a nice ambience. read more

Beautiful coffee shop tucked away in Manhattan that almost makes you feel like you've been transported into another era. Would be the perfect spot to stop and work if you somehow manage to grab a seat; however, the place gets very crowded very quickly. Stopped by here after being recommended by one of my local friends. I think one of the best things about this spot is the ambiance. It has a nice sort of fancy European lounge vibe with nice subtle music in the background. It seems like a great place to sit down and read a book or do some work. The baristas were very nice and I appreciated that they made the matcha with a whisk and separate specific bowl before then transferring into the matcha latte. They also seem to have a decent coffee and tea selection and food options. Wouldn't mind stopping by again for a pit stop when I visit NYC again. read more

This was a nice surprise find on my way to an appointment. What a lovely atmosphere and can I tell you just how delighted and deserving I felt drinking my Americano from a simple Italian coffee cup dish? I know that might sound insane, but it's true. Date of Visit: 3/19/2024 Felix Roasting is one of my favorite coffee place in New York City! There are four stores located in Manhattan, and this one is the Flagship store opened in 2018. Love the luxury and colorful decoration, with an oval shaped bar in the middle, and with the imitation of a library on one side and a museum at the back seating area. Latte I love the latte which has a perfect balance between milk and espresso. Croissant The super crunchy croissant was great for breakfast too! read more

This coffee shop is the most beautiful and elegant I've come across! Wow! The staff were just as classy and attentive to match! They were closing early this day for emergency so unfortunately I couldn't order but I will be going soon to work and try some of the fancy items on the menu! I don't need fancy frills or an instagram worthy experience for a solid cup of coffee. I don't mind spending money on said coffee when it's made very well and worth the price. When your mocha costs $9.25 which includes an up charge for their homemade milk and before tip, it better be damn good. This unfortunately was not worth the cost for what tasted like a chocolate milk with an odd aftertaste. There was way too much chocolate in the cup, not enough espresso, and the homemade milk that is part pumpkin was odd. read more

It's 9:40 am and I'm trying to wake up after a 3.5 hour battle between Medvedev and O'Connell that ended at 12:50 am Truly an epic event for any tennis fan or spectator at the U.S. Open! So after only five hours of sleep I Amadeo Felix Roasting Company getting a croissant and a dark roast drip coffee to recover. Great fresh coffee, and I can feel the life returning to my limbs! The establishment has a old Paris art gallery decor, but boasts the 300 mile an hour buzz of New York's business discussions, fast people and noise of a jackhammer is the distance. read more

I was meaning to go to a different coffee place and stumbled upon Felix roasting. I went on a Tuesday morning so unsure how busy it gets at prime hours and weekends but there was no line and I was able to order right away! The cashier recommended a bagel that to this day I still think about (picture attached here) and they have a lovely outside seating patio that I got to sit at and enjoy my matcha and bagel. The inside is pretty big with 2 levels, some individuals were working and others catching up. Because I was seating outside there was noise but the coffee shop goes in deep that I don't see any issues with it if you go to the second level. I am so happy I ran into this coffee shop as I loved the ambience, food and service! I always recommend it to friends that go to New York and want a good bagel! read more

My friend and I were in town and wanted a place to get coffee and a place to work and so we came across Felix! There was no menu when you walked in so we just got a basic drink since we weren't sure and were not directed to any menu either. The iced coffee was ok - just had a lot of milk for my personal preference. My friend got the nut and seed milk and therefore didn't like her coffee for that reason. There was a decent amount of seating, I would recommend coming earlier in the morning if you want a decent table/seat. Overall, we were able to get our work done and get some caffeine so it hit our needs but just don't know that we would come back. read more

The only reason this isn't a one-star review is because the staff was super friendly and really nice. I hate writing bad reviews because I know everyone has off days, but this one was a major letdown. Between the misleading photo, the missing peanut butter flavor, and my stomach immediately filing a complaint... it was a big ol' womp womp.

So it's a nice place to sit for a while if you can, but maybe not the most comfortable environment to sit and work. It is a beautiful space, though.
