Big fan!! I just wanted a coffee while on my way to see my mom, and Coppa popped up on maps. It's so rare to find a coffee shop that delivers on coffee/tea, food, AND seating, and Coppa checks all of those boxes. I loved the number of syrup options they had, in addition to their specialty drinks. I've been on a pistachio kick recently, so I went for their pistachio latte. I had this delicious pistachio latte when I was in Washington DC a couple months ago and have been chasing that high ever since, and I'm happy to say that this latte came the closest. I came here for breakfast on a Friday morning. It was busy, but not packed. They have several small tables for two people, a long communal table for working, and one larger table for a bigger group of 5 or 6. For a small cafe, they have a fairly large breakfast menu. However, they didn't have the ingredients for several of the dishes. I ended up getting egg, cheese, and avocado on a bagel. It was okay, but nothing special. They had hot sauce available, which helped to give it some additional flavor. Food and drinks were served at the counter and you had to bus your own dishes when you finished eating. They provided free tap water if you asked. Service was pretty slow and it took about 15 minutes for our food and drinks to come out. My mom's coffee initially arrived cold, but they made a fresh cup for her when we asked. Prices were very affordable, especially for the neighborhood. read more

Came here to get some work done. This cafe is cutely set up and in a great location in the city. For my own preference, I like it when cafes have outlets so I can charge my laptop when using. This isn't a big dealbreaker when I go to cafes, but Coppa Nomad didn't have any. They do have wifi! As for food, they had a wide selection from pastries to paninis and they also had a wide variety of drinks to choose from. I got an iced caramel latte which was tasty, but the caramel kept sinking to the bottom no matter how much I mixed. Their bathroom is spacey and clean. Extremely disappointing. This cafe used to have a great caprese sandwich, so I made a trip yesterday. When I got there the caprese was off the menu, so I decided to try the vegetable sandwich, expecting something similar. The sandwich I got was mediocre -- two pieces of untoasted bread, raw vegetables, and very little flavor. It looked like it was slapped together in the back and was falling apart. Coppa is a cute and trendy local coffee shop. The staff are kind, helpful, and quick. The space isn't huge. but there is enough seating if you choose to sit down and relax. I think what stands out in the shop is their giant bookshelf that is completely filled with different novels. Their menu has a pretty wide range of items. There are many flavored lattes and other espressos to choose from. Or if you're not in the mood for coffee, they even have teas and other seasonal drinks as well. They also have a lot of food options. Although I didn't try them, they did look delicious. If you are just trying to grab something quick, they also have a fridge stocked with ready-to-go drinks like kombucha, sparkling water, etc. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with Coppa and it has become my go-to coffee shop around my work area. read more

Coppa caught my eye as I was walking down the street, I really enjoyed the funky art outdoor leading into the café. At the cashier, there is a list of available milk / milk substitutes they have which I found really helpful when ordering and speeding up the process. Though I didn't try a baked good myself, they had a good variety of sandwiches and pastries. I enjoyed the cappuccino, some warmth on a windier NYC day felt pleasant. Definitely think this is a shop I could see myself doing work at or catching up with a friend. It's not as dark as other coffee shops, which I found refreshing. Due to the lightning I wouldn't say it's the coziest coffee shop, more of a good spot to get productive work done in decent lighting. My friend told me he had been meaning to try out this place, so we decided to meet here. As I was early and had a couple of things to work on, I ordered a coffee and pulled out my laptop. The menu here was extensive, and there were lots of unique drinks to order from. The barista taking my order was super friendly and chatty, but very helpful and quick. I ended up ordering a lavender latte. I usually like lavender lattes, but I think the one at Coppa was a bit too much lavender for me. Might be better suited to someone else. But the location was cute, there was ample seating, and the wifi was decent. Overall, Coppa is cute and conducive to being productive! Although I didn't love my first drink there, I definitely would return to try other drinks and get some work done! read more

This is a coffee stop hidden in the Flatiron area. I stopped by here on a weekend and was surprised to see the staff had switched off the AC though it was piping hot outside. Staff were courteous while I ordered and found a free table. However 10 minutes later, at sharp 410pm the staff went around informing everyone that they would like to close at 430 pm. They were asked by multiple people about why nobody was informed about this early closing although their notices listed 5pm. They had no explanation other than a weak "we will clean the place". Sadly, this doesn't look like a place to revisit given this poor experience. read more

This was really a nice place to stop in and get a cup of coffee. The space is just a pleasant place with relaxing vibes. The worker behind the counter was both friendly and calm. The coffee and sandwich both tasted good.The other customers inside were quiet. The place looks like it's decades old (though it's not), and it's kept really clean. They have a big selection of books you can read if you choose to, and I believe you can borrow them. The whole block itself is not super busy (which add to the calm vibes).
