DELICIOUS matcha latte with almond milk! One of the most affordable ones in the city. The barista gave it the most incredible microfoam and the milk doesn't overpower the matcha flavor. It's very smooth and not at all bitter, while being slightly sweet naturally. The ambiance here is also 10/10. They have smooth jazz cafe music playing and the smell of fresh baked pastries wafts in the air. I wish this was in the west village as I would be a regular for sure.

Came only once but loved the cute and uniqueness of this small yet quaint coffee shop. We typically only get black coffee and like to try the pasties they offer. Here, we truly enjoyed both! The baristas were efficient yet polite as they took our order and handed us our drinks. They offer a few places to sit both indoors or outdoors.

The matcha latte was goood. The shop was tucked away and a good local vibe. Lost a star because the barista literally laughed at me when I asked if they made tea lattes, if you don't make them that's fine! But laughing?? Still a good and chill vibe. They also had some food options that looked good!

I popped in here as it was in the vicinity of my doctors office. It's a cute little coffee shop hidden from the sidewalk. There are a few tables and benches to sit in on inside as well as a few tables outside. There is a bathroom as well and it seems like you can work here if you'd like (I didn't see any outlets though). I ordered the cinnamon roll, which was okay but nothing special. I also ordered the chai latte with oat milk which was also decent. The woman who took my order was nice.

The so called "latte" that tastes like completely milk + water that just rinsed a coffee mug :)

The environment still as good.. as someone that comes here regularly as I go to the equinox to workout not far from here, the coffee is getting worse, and worse.. The last three times I have been here all tasted more like milk with a slight taste of coffee, than actual latte.. or mocha(one of the worst I've ever had). For people that need coffee, strongly NOT recommended. Edit: Well since the owner is calling me fake at least there's a cup I got from this place yesterday which was the reason of my disappointed post.. the equinox I go to is on the same street - Park Ave which is 2 minutes from here. This response of yours literally reminded me how bad the coffee was again, and I'm not even a picky coffee drinker... as a small business owner if you can't even handle this level of criticism you scale and potential of business is.. let's put it this way.. not very bright :) btw I used to like you guys to the degree when my friends come around to the kips bay area I used to take them there, not anymore I guess :) this response of yours will definitely be shared.

I love this coffee shop. I'm glad I stumbled upon it in this area. Their half-basement venue gives this place a cozy mom-and-pop shop feel. I later found out that they do have other locations besides this one - the other one's in the Garment District. I ordered their cappuccino which was nice and smooth. I like the cozy space but just beware that there aren't that many seats inside. It's the perfect place to grab-and-go a nice cup of coffee and pastries.

Brooklyn location! New addition to the changing neighborhood! Very inviting on a Saturday morning. Light music. Staff very pleasant and warm. Ordered iced cold brew (with almond milk) & cinnamon scone. Very delicious.

What an awesome hidden away cafe! The very kind barista told me it has been open three months. Nice little working and relaxing spaces inside and outside. They were out of cold brew, so I got an iced americano instead which was great. Mushroom quiche was delicious!! They are open 7am-5pm seven days a week so you can stop in for an early morning, before work coffee, an afternoon pick me up, or grab a pastry on your way home! Seriously cannot way to return to Arvaci, which I know will be often since I work a three minute walk from the shop!

Great service and powerful open your eyes coffee. They also have a huge selection of foods, quiches and pirogis, croissants etc... Some nice seating and great atmosphere... very European feel. I will be back often.

When in NYC, I always look for small businesses with unique spins on food and drink. Their specialty coffee is the Arvaci, a coffee with brown sugar and something else (I completely forgot oops) but it was delicious. I asked the person at the front (Robin, a very kind person!) what pastry he recommends and he said he had just baked the cinnamon buns. The cafe has limited seating, but was relatively empty on a rainy Saturday morning. It's a great coffee shop and there seems to be a handful of regulars that entered when I sat down to enjoy my breakfast. This is a wonderful small cafe that I would highly recommend if you are in the area.

    Entrance decor
    Harshit M.

The flowers and decor on the entrance give a grand feeling, but the outlet itself is very small and can just seat 4-5 people at max and a standing capacity of another 4 people. It's more like a to-go coffee place. The barista looked disinterested and could be easily felt that from the coffee preparation or the lack thereof! The biggest cortado I have ever had - defeats the purpose of the coffee style. I hope they work and improve their barista skills.

They have a water dispenser, two locking bathrooms, and plenty of outlets, so I already have a very positive view of Grace Street as a good place to rest. The food is alright. It's a bit overpriced and the teas are not good quality. However, the desserts are delicious. I usually split a slice of basque cheesecake with my friends. The regular and matcha have both been good in my experience. I don't like chocolate cake, so I haven't tried that variety. I wish the pumpkin was available in the smaller size too! I've tried their boba, and it isn't good. The hot teas are okay but not great. They're pretty much just syrup and milk. I would avoid the drinks and just get the desserts! I haven't personally tried the bingsoo, but I've heard good things. The waffle is alright--all in all, come here to recharge and for the basque cheesecake!

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
