Deceptive Menu. Cucumber has no business being on the menu at all.
    Jon B.

The deception on their menu is next level. Was looking forward to something unique and was utterly disappointed. On the menu for wings and sauce/dips it says; "Buffalo, Hot Honey, House Dry Rub, Mustard BBQ, Cucumber, Ranch or Bleu Cheese" I ordered Cucumber. They gave me cucumber slices!!!!! What?!?!?!?!? In fact, they don't serve any type of cucumber sauce or dip whatsoever. If by cucumber they mean "cucumber slices" why not put carrots and celery on the menu too? I don't understand why they would even put cucumber on the menu at all, yet alone next to the sauce, or dip, or something if they don't have some sort of cucumber flavored something to match where it's listed on the menu. It just doesn't make sense IMO I honestly would have gone elsewhere had I known that the menu was this deceptive. I like looking for unique flavors and cuisine when I travel so I was excited to try some sort of cucumber flavored dip or sauce. Such a disappointment. I only paid for the food because my server was nice and let me order right before close. Lesson learned. From now on I'll ask what everything is before I order.

This was a much needed meal after a very stressful experience dealing with canceled and rerouted flights. The burger was good and so were the drinks. I don't fly through this airport very often, so it was good to try something new.

Quick sop while waiting for our flight back to Seattle. This was quick and friendly. Nachos is expensive though it isn't everything expensive these days!? Anyway, it was delicious. Looks good on the picture and tasted very good too. It was scrumptious, lots of guac, enough cheese and everything else. Well portioning. The pulled pork? Wow! Delicious! The only challenge was getting a comfortable table for two. They were busy! Anyway, try the nachos! I love my nachos!

This is really a great stop for airport dining. I had the Virginia burger which was delish and gets large. I added bacon and it was quality bacon freshly made. The fries were delish. Fresh, salted but not overly. My only reason it isn't 5.....service and food are both an airport 5 star. BUT they only serve their beer on draft. That's a knock for me.

While waiting for a later flight back home to CLE (we missed our original connection), we wandered the concourse for a place for an early dinner. After a quick interwebs search we decided on this spot for a meal. Was not super-busy, so we were sat right away and our waitress efficiently took our orders. We split a chopped salad and a fried chicken schnitzel sandwich with fries. Both items came out promptly and were of a higher quality than we'd expected from airport food. Would definitely venture back here, if again stranded at IAD.

So unfortunately the lounge in Dullies was full to capacity so I was forced to find food in the airport. The closest food place to our terminal was Devil's backbone. First let me start off the service was excellent my waitress was constantly checking to make I was good & needed anything. Knowing I had a 8 hour flight I decided on something not too heavy. So I elected to have the fish & chips with a side of ginger ale. When I tell you that was the wrong move the fish was pretty bland & everyone knows the fish is only as good as the seasoning you have on it. Only thing that salvaged the meal was the delicious dip that comes with the fish & chips. And all of these adventure can be yours for only about $20 bucks.

Fish and chips... taste great! I took the photo after messing around with the plate a bit messing up the presentation.

Food is fast and great, the beers are even better, and the staff is absolutely fantastic after a little bit of getting to know them. You have to realize that they probably deal with a lot of unpleasant customers, so they warm up rather well if you are nice to them. My Go-to bar for international flight prep!

Closes at 9:30 PM. Refused to seat me at 8:45 because kitchen was closed. The restaurant was totally full.

Once you check in, they ask if you've been in the lounge before and explain the process of ordering amenities, etc. The design of the lounge itself is breathtaking with clear views of the air field and two levels to choose seating from. When you make your way to the bar you're warmly greeted by the amazing trio Angie, Erica, and Freedom. Hard-working lovely ladies that really make the experience 10x better. The lounge is very clean and the food bar has delicious meals that are fresh and refreshing. Overall a great experience before your next flight. Gracias Etihad Lounge for a phenomenal experience!

It is smaller, has less food options, only one shower, only 4 bathroom stalls, and a long wait if you happen upon it during a busy time. Their signature burger was not good here - dry, overcooked, no flavor. When I had it in Boston, it was pretty good, so super disappointing. The service was the same, attentive and professional. Having said all this, it is still much better than most airport lounges in the United States. The salmon and rice they served on the buffet line was good, so I filled up in that. The location is fairly convenient - in A. You can walk from B. It's next to where you'd enter from the airport tram (if coming from C) and when you get off the escalator from the airport shuttle (if coming from D).

Got to check off eating here as it's been on my list of places to try for years. The fresh flowers are a nice touch. We received complimentary treats from the kitchen which set the standard for what was to come. Could have eaten a million more. Our tuna tartare arrived and upon eating our first bites, the taste was off-putting. The staff was so kind to compensate by removing this item from our bill. The mussels are a good dish shareable for two; we asked for soup spoons to enjoy the broth. My friend typically does not order protein as her main entree (coming from a family who is skilled at grilling meats), though I was able to persuade her to share the pork chop. The staff offered to split this into two separate plates. I enjoyed the fact that were were supporting a local fresh pork farm based out of Mount Jackson, VA known as Baker's Farm. All of the dishes were plated creatively and we left feeling full. +Yellow Fin Tuna Tartare-saffron aioli, house made kimchi, crispy tuile +IPA Steamed Mussels-bacon, cherry tomato, basil, grilled sourdough +Smoked Local Pork Chop +Espresso Martini Although my friend mentioned that this is typically more than she would pay for, she would come back for the mussels. I would agree the price point falls short of the flavors.

Having been to Local…read moreProvisions (their sister restaurant next door) a few times, we were anxious to sample the French inspired menu. We were not disappointed. The restaurant ambience and decor even gave us fond memories of restaurants visited on our 2023 trip to Paris. The tuna tartare as a shared appetizer was delicious, as were our entrees - Trout Almondine and Duck Confit. The hardest decision of the night was actually dessert, which we would normally skip, but being our anniversary and first time at the Brasserie Royale, we indulged. The "British" (in a French restaurant?) seasonal offering of Sticky Pudding was too tempting not to try. It was excellent. The service and wine selections were equally enjoyable. It was busy on a Monday evening, so reservations are recommended. Our table for two was nestled between other small tables and it was interesting to both see and get reviews of other dishes. Overheard from the table to our right were criticisms of the squash ravioli and garlic sausage entrees. However, the table to our left was effusive about the creme brulee. We will be back. (still need to work on my food photo taking, sorry - I always remember after the dish is almost gone)

While it was busy, it wasn't absolutely slammed. Our server took five minutes to initially greet us-not a massive deal. However, when we went to order, she was unsure of what we wanted. She was clearly new because she asked for us to point on the menu with what we would like. Again, not a big deal. We sat for about 25 minutes and then she told us "it will be out any minute." About 10 more minutes passed and it came out. A 35 minute ticket time for med-rare steak and a croque madam is unacceptable. In addition, she forgot to ring up a side we asked for, which took another 7-8 minutes (even though she told us it would be out in an unrealistic 2 minutes). This experience overall was really underwhelming and a disappointment to a kid-free date with my wife. The actual food was good, per usual. While we will try Brasserie again, it was a massive shame.
