    French Dip

Could earn 3 stars if the food was temperature hot. It was warm but I expect more. Taste was fine, ambiance is quite nice, actually. Service was a bit intrusive. Another overpriced airport restaurant when nothing else is available. We ordered the Mumbo Wings and the French Dip to share.

Decent restaurant at Dulles with prompt service. The only complaint is the tables are a bit tight so the person next to me knocked over the glass candle which broke but the restaurant just cleaned up and was hekpf

The best spot in IAD if you have some time to kill at the airport. Great food, excellent cocktails, and 20's jazz lounge atmosphere, Gatsby is a def. Between terminal D and C (quiet part of the airport) greeted by our server "Ahed" with a huge smile and great attitude. Ahed was optimistic and brought a smile to everyone's vibe. He took the time to run down the menu like a pro. If you like a feel good gin cocktail def recommend "Bee's Knees". Gatsby is a win.

Airport food is always overpriced, and this $16 house salad (one of the only possible vegan options) was no exception. My server was very nice and efficient, but overall the place was super busy and difficult to maneuver.

I was headed home after a difficult trip. Gatsby provided just the solace I needed with elevated cocktails, delicious food, and comfy seating. My pot pie featured flaky puff pastry, creamy filling, and generous chunks of chicken. The light touch of lavender, mostly on the crust, provided a nice floral note that cut the richness of the dish. I usually never finish a meal of this size, but there wasn't a crumb remaining! Alhed provided capable and personable service that made me smile. I don't know why you'd dine anyplace else at Dulles.

She did a phenomenal job overseeing our whole group by herself. The food was good. I love a good southern comfort meal. But I'd be lying that I wasn't a little disappointed they didn't have chicken and waffles. They do have chicken and biscuits which looked good. It's exactly what you'd expect from a Southern style dish in Charleston SC. Rich, comforting, and well executed. The crispy calamari appetizer was disappointing. Most of the pieces were tiny, which made them too small to dip into the sauce. It was also too salty. Cutting the salt by about 33% would help a lot. The worst part was the service. There was a long gap between our appetizer and entrees, and I could see our food sitting under the heat lamps for a long time. When our server Soledad passed by, I told her I noticed our entrees were ready and asked if we could get them. She seemed annoyed and told me I had to wait my turn because they execute tickets in order. The kitchen talent is clearly good, but they need to train their servers to have more grace under pressure. Overall, not worth coming again when there are so many great dining options in the area.

Just walking in you knew you would be leaving full, content and happy (and ready for a mid morning nap)! The food was exactly what I was hoping for and actually expected. My buddy Mike had a Denver Omelette with Hash Browns and Rye Toast and I had a Cheddar Cheese, Mushroom and Bacon Omelette, also with Rye. I also got a side of Sausage Gravy for my Crispy Browns. Pure yummalishous! We all have our favorite "type" of Omelette and this was mine. Thin, not fluffy eggs, LOTS of fixins' and gooey melted cheese. I forgot we also got a side of pancakes and some scrapple! Yes, we literally pigged out! Cant wait to say hi to the crew next month when I return... and enjoy another great meal! Cheers, JimG

I rate restaurants within their category and concept. I am not comparing a neighborhood breakfast…read morespot to a Michelin star dining experience. If a place consistently delivers tasty food, solid execution, and keeps you wanting to come back, that earns a top rating from me. Ted's Bulletin absolutely does that. We have been to the One Loudoun location several times for breakfast, and it is consistently a great experience. That kind of consistency matters, especially for breakfast service where some places can be hit or miss. One of our favorites has been the huevos rancheros. They serve it on tostadas, which gives the dish a great crispy base and a really satisfying texture. It is flavorful, hearty, and always hits the spot. We have also had their homemade tater tots, and they are excellent. Nicely fried, crisp on the outside, soft inside, and clearly done with care rather than feeling like an afterthought side dish. Their French toast is another strong option and always enjoyable. If you are in the mood for something sweeter, it is a very solid choice. We have also tried the breakfast cinnamon roll. It is definitely generous in size. It is decent and worth trying, but it can be a lot, which is probably why we only order it occasionally. For the kids, the hot chocolate is always a favorite and something they genuinely look forward to each visit. Overall, Ted's Bulletin continues to deliver tasty breakfast food, dependable quality, and a family friendly experience that keeps us coming back. Easy 5 stars from me.

I went with the club sandwich--perfectly fine, but about as memorable as a meeting that could've been an email. Nothing wrong with it, just nothing that would ever bring me back for round two. The fries, on the other hand, showed up crispy and confident... easily the highlight of the plate. There are plenty of solid lunch options in the area, and in hindsight, I probably should've explored one of them instead. I did spot a grilled cheese that looked great walking by--but let's be honest, grilled cheese always looks like it has its life together. It wasn't crowded, service was fine, and nothing was outright bad--it just didn't deliver the kind of experience I've come to expect from Ted's. If I return, it'll be for breakfast, where they seem to know exactly what they're doing.

We were craving fish fry and this place served. We ordered a couple platters of catfish and whiting along with some sides. Both fish were breaded and fried perfectly. Super flakey inside and crispy on the outside. The shrimp was so crispy and crunchy you can eat it whole tail and all. I haven't had enough collard greens to make an assessment of what is considered good as a baseline but I enjoyed them! Sweet potato fries were thick and crisp. Fried green tomatoes were also delicious. Grits were very cheesy, the biscuit was also pretty good. Sauce bar was a bit lacking as some bottles were empty. But we made do with what was there. Staff was very kind and patient while we were figuring out our order. Also checked in on us to make sure we were ok. This spot is a bit further from home but we will definitely return to try more of the menu. Good fish fry is a rarity in Northern Virginia, and this place is a gem.
