This was my first time visiting Desnudo, I wasn't sure what to order so I asked for a recommendation. The sweet lady at the front suggested the Guava Matcha and since I wanted something refreshing, it ended up being exactly what I was looking for. I tasted the matcha but also the guava and was a great combination. For me one of the best matcha drinks I've had in a while. The space is cute, with outdoor seating if you want to hang out for a bit (they play really good music). Service was quick and I also loved that they sell bags of coffee to take home. There's even a lovely plant shop right across the way, which makes the whole area feel even more nice.The only thing to keep in mind is that parking can be a bit of a hassle, so be prepared for that. This feels like one of those coffee spots you can keep coming back to whenever you're craving coffee or matcha. I'll definitely be back!

Desnudo Coffee (South Lamar) is on most best coffee shop lists. The original location in East Austin is always packed with a wraparound line. This was our first time at Desnudo on South Lamar and this food truck location delivers the same experience as the original Desnudo...great coffee sourcing, micro roasted coffee and nicely balanced flavors. As a friendly reminder, most popular menu items are on the top left portion of a menu or at the top of a menu. Desnudo is known for their signature brown sugar miso latte, of course, at the top of the menu. This addicting latte offers a subtle savory-sweet balance that's both unique and incredibly smooth. We also tried the vanilla miso latte and I must say, I liked the vanilla miso latte better than the brown sugar miso latte. It was less sweet and smoother. We also had some hibiscus tea, which was bold and exploding with flavor. The atmosphere at the South Lamar location is laid-back and casual with outdoor seating available for you to enjoy your treats. Also, our barista, Araceli, was super sweet and kind. Excellent service... Desnudo Coffee on South Lamar is fully worth the stop. They are ahead of the coffee pack for well-crafted drinks, excellent service, and an authentic coffee experience.

This place was very hyped up so I was very excited to try it! We planned to grab coffee and walk the lake and the location is ideal if you're having a day with the girls and walking around downtown Austin. The service was quick and efficient, the coffee was good however I thought it would be a tad sweeterrr but it wasn't. I still drank it all and would be willing to try something else if I stumbled upon it again!

Very delayed in getting my first cup of joe from Desnudo but it lived up to the hype. What a world it would be if there were a plethora of Desnudo on every corner instead of Starbucks. I got my usual classic hot latte because I thought I should start with the basics for my first try, and also got the guayaba croissant which absolutely rocked my world. The staff was super friendly and also by my surprise, I was able to find a parking spot at 9:30am, which is typically unheard of. There's a cute sitting area just outside the Frond Plant Shop and I noticed other parking spots on the side of the building as I was leaving. It was a rainy morning but 100% worth the quick stop. Desnudo, please come further South (like the Menchaca / Slaughter area) :) Editing to add the best part -- being able to order online for pickup before arriving. Some coffee spots I haven't been able to try because they don't offer this convenience. It really puts you on the map!

I got the hot white vanilla miso latte with the orange blossom for my first time here despite all the rave around the brown sugar miso. The miso adds a caramel flavor that is just the best in coffee. The orange blossom was a subtle flavor and I couldn't really taste the orange unfortunately. I would say if you love sweet coffees, the signature lattes are for you. I personally prefer my drinks stronger in the coffee taste and would try the other classic options or matcha next time! While I waited in line, there was a nice lady handing out samples of their cold brew and explaining the drink menu to those who had questions in line. It was really nice to see the staff excited about interacting with their customers and their menu!

good coffee, good people, and good vibes; what more can you ask for?! we ordered two drinks and even got to try a cortado on the house, which was such a nice touch. the staff are genuinely the sweetest people ever. i didnt try the brown sugar miso or shoyu butterscotch since im not a fan of sweet + savory combo. however, the guayaba matcha was so rich and tropical, highly recommend if you like sweeter drinks. the hojicha was perfectly nutty and roasted, and im so glad i tried it since hojicha isn't something you see at cafes very often. their espresso was also extremely velvety and decadent. they were giving out samples of their current cold brew rotation too, and it tasted exactly like chocolate covered raspberries! the floral and cocoa notes came through beautifully looking forward to coming back and trying more of their specials!

I love this location of Desnudo! The staff is so warm and kind. They are always willing to make conversation to get to know their customers as well as answer questions about the menu! Parking can be a little tricky, but I come in the morning during the week and haven't had many issues! I love the mix of indoor and outdoor seating. It's definitely the type of place people like to meet and gather, it's great people watching and often times there are cute pups, too (which they have complimentary treats for). The coffee is also delicious! None of them are overly sweet and are well balanced in their flavors! Often times the staff will be handing out samples of their drip coffee so you can try something new! I'm not a huge matcha fan but I've brought many friends who are and they all rave about the guava matcha!

Wow this place is so good! I loved the new matcha drink--La Guayaba--the guava foam was *chef's kiss*. It is on the pricier side for coffee but I think it's worth it for a splurge once in a while. We also got the Brown Sugar Miso which was delicious as always!

Tried this during a visit to Austin and hands down the best lattice. I had the white vanilla miso and it was so decadent and tasty. It was different for other lattes that I have tried. The staff was super sweet and gave alot of recommendations which helped us decide what to get. They also gave us some samples to try and it was delicious.

I enjoyed my first experience at Desnudo's South Lamar location! It's a cute little coffee truck with a great atmosphere! The coffee is sourced from Columbia, and the baristas explained that there's no middleman when it comes to getting the beans, so they're fresh. They even offered cold brew samples while we were waiting in line. The baristas were super duper sweet and welcoming. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, which was okay. The drink wasn't super sweet. This is a perfect spot if you're looking for outdoor vibes. Maybe not somewhere to work from home, but I did actually see someone working on their laptop. In terms of parking, they have two small lots right next to it and then another one farther down the street. There's some but it was just tough on a Saturday morning. Also, be careful with parking in the nearby restaurants lots because they came out and told us to move our car. Overall, the vibes were great, and I recommend checking it out! read more

If you haven't heard of desnudo you are behind my friend! My favorite coffee in Austin by a mile. I used to dread going because the east side location always has massive lines but this is the perfect stop. Right off south Lamar, it's a food truck with a tiny indoor and outdoor seating area, but they serve the whole menu and some limited pasties! Service is sometimes slow but I've never waited more than 10min for my coffee. The brown butter miso is my favorite. Such interesting and delicious flavors! So glad to have a desnudo close by. read more

This may be one of the best coffee experiences I have had. We ordered the desnudo drink, cold brew, and matcha. The cold brew and desnudo were fantastic! The desnudo was a great espresso drink - velvety, chocolatey, and nutty, while the cold brew was a wonderful coffee drink - fruity and floral. I had la guayaba matcha latte and I have to say that was one of the best matcha I've had for the longest time. I also had their hibiscus tea which was really nice as well. I'm not really a review guy, but here I am, because I was just kinda blown away from my experience just now... This place, quite possibly has the nicest staff in all of Austin. Only been once (so far) but all of the women working there (Monday 10/20/25) were so incredibly warm and welcoming in a way that didn't feel forced or insincere. I work in the service industry so I get how hard it is to find quality staff that actually seems excited to be at work... Hospitality isn't for everyone, but it seemed to be ingrained in every person I came in contact with this morning... I'm not normally a drip coffee kinda guy, but the sample I was given while I was waiting was so tasty I'd actually consider ordering it instead of my normal quad shot latte, which is a wild thing for me to admit. Speaking of, that quad shot latte was delicious too . 5 star experience... Just be warned that this is still a trailer on a VERY busy road, so if you're looking for a quiet place to chat or work, this isn't that. What it is, is a place to grab a great coffee made by extremely nice people that actually know and care about what they're doing, which to me, is way more important than ambiance. read more

The Cosmic Saltillo location is our go-to because it's walking distance from our home. This original location is amazing. Love the both so much. I like that there are food truck onsite, lots and lots of outdoor seating, koi pond, chickens, certified green spaces, and so much more. It's like being at the greatest campground ever.
