Not only did one employee type in the wrong VIN number on my new title, but after having to drive back to this location to have it fixed, the new employee to help me was entirely unapologetic. She didn't even offer to refund my purchase due to their mistake. Considering she is typing up such an important document, you would think she would double check her work. I was in and out of this place in about 10 minutes. I needed a duplicate title for my truck and they opened at 7. I thought by the time I got here, after 9, on a Saturday, it would be packed. Wow, this place is a life saver. I stopped at the MVD near Greenfield and Baseline and the line to get tickets was out the door and curled around the building. With a critical deadline looming at the office, I knew I'd be in trouble if I spent my time waiting at the DMV. I found the Alma School branch of this place linked on Yelp from the DMV page, so I figured I'd check their website and found this closer branch. Knowing the line at the DMV I figured I had nothing to lose. There was NO line and the staff was actually friendly and great to talk to. Nice facility, clean and professional. The other title place I saw online looked like a scary payday loan place. They did charge a $5 convenience fee on top of the normal MVD fee, which I consider to be worth every penny. I will definitely use these guys again. read more

I wish I cared enough about the fast service to give a decent review of the place, but My boyfriend and I were too much in awe of the rudeness of the women there. I couldn't believe it. Granted we came in 2 minutes before close, but we didn't even know that prior to walking in. We walked in, and before we even could tell them what it was we wanted, the lady at the front desk rolled her eyes and said "you better hurry because our computers go down in 2 minutes" in an impatient tone. We wanted to solve out things with a car title, but the lady was obviously annoyed (she a didn't even try to hide it) and told us that what we wanted to do required that the vehicle go through emissions first. We thanked her for that information and asked if we could get a 3 day tag for our car. She printed one out, and when we asked for a little plastic bag to put it in, she grew even more annoyed. As we put it in the bag, the same lady walked up to the front of the store, turned off the lights and stood at the door staring at us, apparently just waiting for us to leave. Very unprofessional. If they had been kind, and told us to come back tomorrow, rather than sit there fuming at us for keeping them 4 MINUTES past closing time, we would have. No problem. Why be so unnecessarily rude? At this point I would rather sit and wait at a DMV. read more

I am beyond livid with the Val Vista and Baseline location. I've gone into this location a few times and they have always been rude but not enough for me to write a bad review. Well my husband went in Friday to title and register our vehicle. The mileage was inputed incorrectly by 100k mile more and then they told my husband that it's too late and can't be fixed. I called and spoke with someone over the phone and she insisted that it couldn't be done because it's a lot of work. I insisted there must be something to fix this error and she then said they could probably do a statement of error. So couldn't or didn't want to? Friday evening, I went in with my husband and spoke with Lisa. She stated she is the one who sends off the statement of errors and said we have to get the seller to sign the form. I asked why this wasn't stated earlier so we could have had this all done Friday evening. Lisa was rude, disrespectful and extremely unprofessional. At this time I was upset with the lack of customer service being presented. I apologized to her for my frustration and she could care less and continued to be rude. She handed me the statement of error and we left. We came back today (Saturday) with the sellers notarized statement of error and LISA said we couldn't do it Saturday. When asked why she didn't tell us that Friday night, she accused me of not letting her have a word in. There was plenty of silence in between her and my conversation. She chose not to say anything. The in competence of these employees have wasted three days of my time, Friday, Saturday and Monday since I have to go back. I would have saved time by waiting at the MVD and would have paid less. I learned my lesson. I have recommended this location to many of my costumers for their convenience since I am a title agent/loan officer. Once this error is corrected. I will NOT return nor recommend anyone here.. I do want to note that Heather was nice during the short time my I spent with her. read more

Seriously the best experience dealing with title and tags EVER!! why would anyone go to the MVD? Walked in, greeted and helped IMMEDIATELY, no number, no waiting, like immediately. I'm sitting here as I write thinking about all the title issues that I've filed away over the years mustering ambition to settle them. I'm literally (#1 over used word of the world) stunned with how great and easy this experience was. I don't believe they're full service so there still is a necessity for government paid employees to ruin your day at the DMV, but not this day. read more

I've done business with the same two ladies in this office for the past five years each year service continues to get a little worse. I had not been in a while until this week I was treated rude and told flat out they did not have time to help me. I walked in to get a new title 30 minutes ago. There were no people here when I came in, I was acknowledged immediately. The lady looked up my information and told me I needed a letter from my insurance company. At that point, the staff pretty much ignored me while I waited for the fax. After speaking with my insurance company they knew I would get the letter but didn't do any work toward getting my registration done. After about 5 minutes the woman who was helping me announced she was going on break! Horrible customer service! I love that I don't have to wait at the mvd but honestly, it wasn't much better. On 6/21/17 I stopped in the Desert Title Gilbert Baseline Rd. office and met with "Lisa" to question on the process of titling my new vehicle that I leased from a CA dealer. I advised I was instructed to find a title agency by the dealer so they could Fed Ex the docs to so I can process registration and pay for AZ tags. Lisa advised of the documents needed and I asked if by the VIN she could estimate the VLT fees. The fees she quoted were higher than what I had been quoted via phone by the MVD location on east valley auto drive. They used the VIN number to look up the MSRP. I went there after meeting Lisa and they confirmed the amount in person. They stated Lisa had simply entered the wrong year. I called Lisa back. She was very rude and said " If you prefer their amount then just go there". I advised I was not trying to be smug but just to verify the amount I had to pay. She again stated perhaps "I should just go there as she had 11 yrs experience at this". I thanked her and ended the call. I then went to another 3rd party provider and they confirmed the DMV amount. I had them complete the registration. Lisa was rude and epitomizes every stereotype of arrogant employees at DMV businesses who have no customer service skills and are quick to throw up their years of experience as if they are always error free. She eludes the "I'm doing you a favor attitude". and in my opinion warrants some coaching feedback. For the record I took my time to verify her claim and she was outright wrong. I was more than willing to return to Desert Title had she simply stated "perhaps I made a mistake" but in light of her arrogant rudeness I will simply promise to advise everyone of my experience at Desert Title when I'm provided the opportunity. read more

So the first time we went here they were not able to help us with my car title but gave us all the information we needed to know to come back and get it done. I was very impressed with how much guidance they gave us and was looking forward to coming back for an easy process. I came back two weeks later and the lady that helped us (Pam? Black hair) was a complete bitch. She was rude to my mom and I and snapped at us saying that we didn't tell her this or that. She explained the total for my mom was $250 ish. We kept asking her why it was so high when it says $12 processing fee on their wall. She only kept saying it's the mvd fee. Finally some other clerk came over and explained that it is the registration fee for a year. Ok that makes sense. She told me I would get a plate refund in the mail automatically because she was submitting the request. I waited an entire month for the check before calling mvd because I know mvd is slow. No check. So I called mvd and no plate refund request was ever made. So now I get less of a refund (paid an extra month) and have to wait again. I don't write many reviews but I am still upset one month later with this process. I like the idea of not going to mvd, but I will not be back to this third party. read more

I have used Desert Title 2x. The customer service is over the top wonderful. The 1st time I used this service, I had no wait time and was extremely impressed. I recently used it again, with a very short wait on a very comfortable chair. The lobby is clean and attractive. The staff are polite, efficient and professional. The associate who assisted me went above and beyond her job duties to help me. My visit was rather complex--estate/trust issues with title needed etc. The fees are reasonable if not lower than the AZ MVD. read more

The older lady who answers the phone is rude and not very customer oriented. I called and inquired into how much registration renewal would be for my daughter, as I was sending her with cash to this location. She told me she couldn't answer that. When my daughter went, she was $20 short although I had received an estimate of late charges and all the math was correct acording to her last renewal amount. The woman who helped us with our actual renewal (who was very nice) said we could have called ahead for how much the renewal itself would have been. I was a little upset at that, and said I HAD done that and the person who answered the phone said she couldn't tell me! At this point that older crabby lady stood up and started yelling at us across the room. NOT good customer service...she was not very helpful from the very beginning when she picked up the phone til the very end of our interaction as she yelled at us in front of all the other customers.
