I've been using these guys for years. I use to go to the one on Baseline and Gilbert area but this one is right by my house now. I've been coming here since because everyone is always so helpful and friendly. Katie was awesome this time and really helped me out. In addition, I left my glasses and they actually called me to let me know. I really like how they do their name plates using license plates and then cut up plates for letters in their names. It's really cool. The color scheme inside the office is god awful however, it definitely is a conversation piece and always makes me feel calm... Maybe that's the point. You way better off going to ADOT. Whet there trying to get new TSA drivers license. They didn't want to take wife's brith certificate. It's the original from 1962. Wouldn't help me because I had a name change. Had original paperwork from 1976 from the court. I was adopted. I had to leave. Went right down to the ADOT, same paperwork and got it done. This place will make you feel like a criminal and embarrass you. Plus charge you huge fees. Don't waste your time. read more

Desert Title in mesa on Ellsworth is terrible. The ladies I have had to encounter a couple times are rude and are very unprofessional. Wait time are so long, they charge extra fees that are way too expensive. I highly suggest not going to Desert Valley on Ellsworth. read more

Went to DMV mid-afternoon on a Tues thinking it couldn't be too bad... boy, I was SO WRONG! The line went almost the length of the room! I turned right around and out the door because I had not planned for what appeared to be a ridiculous amount of time waiting with all the other poor souls and resigned myself to returning another time before 8:00 a.m. with a big fat book, earplugs (for the poor crying babies), and a fully charged phone. What a concept! Open earlier than MVD, locate in a nice business complex, have pleasant staff! These folks aren't just for renewals. I got my title, plate, and registration in short order, with a low fee. I'd give you 5 stars if the computer login worked and you didn't have to call IT or whatever. Walked in and was helped immediately by Chris. His customer service was outstanding and he handled changing titles for my 2 vehicles in a fast and friendly manner. I was so frustrated after leaving this place yesterday, and today the more I think about my experience with Desert Title Service, I realized I had to write a review. The DMV is not fun. 3rd party DMV companies aren't fun either... We all understand this. However, because we all have precious little time in our day, many of us opt to pay EXTRA for the convenience of companies like this one. Mind you, I said we PAY MORE. I've been dealing with the frustration of trying to transfer the title of my vehicle I just paid off to the person who purchased my car. I understood before coming to this location that I am waiting for the system to show the dealership and bank had transferred the title to me. I brought all my necessary paperwork with me and I was more than kind, patient, and polite. The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because there was no waiting time for me, and a woman behind a desk assisted me right away. This is the only reason I didn't give Desert Title 1 Star. From the moment that I explained to the woman that I wanted to check to see if the title was in my name yet, she was frustrated and told me it's likely that it's not in my name yet, and "Oh well, we can check anyways". I asked questions because I was given different time frames by another 3rd party DMV company on how long this process takes in the Arizona Department of Transportation system. She got rude with me from this point out. If I remember correctly, she all but insulted me because I didn't know how HER system worked, she rolled her eyes because of my concerns about the car still being registered to me, and she basically gave me wrong information about the servicearizona.com website also. I literally walked out of this place mid sentence because she also decided to tell me if I was concerned about selling my vehicle to someone I didn't know, it would be my fault if something happened to the vehicle. I will never go back here. I was at another 3rd party company a few days ago in the middle of phoenix off of 19th Ave and Camelback and got better service. I'll drive elsewhere from now on, which is a shame because of how close this place is to my home. Don't let the pretty office design fool you. The women there working would rather talk about the "delicious salads" they all ate for lunch rather than help you with your DMV needs. ****EDIT: I decided to actually change this from 2 stars to 1 star. I called back to the first 3rd party company that tried to help me 3 days ago, Gonzalez Motor Vehicle Service off of 19th ave and Indian School Road. The Ladies there REMEMBERED me, were so NICE and sweet, she actually offered to check my license plate over the phone again, and guess what? It was completed. So not only was the lady at Desert Title RUDE and INSULTING, but she was wrong to refer me to the servicearizona website (they wanted to charge me $3 just to check every time) and also the lady at Desert Title said this process would take usually up to 2 weeks. It wasn't even 3 full days and I will now drive ALL THE WAY across town instead to get better customer service. Whatever, It will be desert title's loss.... This place is so much more convenient than trying to go to the DMV. Having visited the DMV several times over the last few months and I couldn't stomach the idea of going again, so I was more than happy to pay a convenience fee to get copies of my titles. I had to visit this place THREE times because apparently my trailer titles are not connected to my drivers license. I had to go back several times because this woman kept telling me my numbers were wrong. Turns out I had the serial number and the vin number listed together and she didn't bother to tell me that half of it was most likely the VIN, or that Trailer VINS are a lot shorter than CAR Vins. Thanks for the help on that, Maria. I was not pleased, but I was still able to complete my transaction. But for a 15 dollar convenience fee, I was in and out, once I had my correct VIN (Which was far more complicated to find than in a car) I'll probally visit another title place like this in the future. read more

Agents look at you like you're intruding when you walk in. Tried to transfer title for car my brother just purchased. Needed emissions. No problem. Got that done. Returned with emissions, and the agent would not do the transfer because of my brother having an out of state license. She saw his license the first time we were there, and she did not mention it at all. I mentioned that I still had an out of state license when I bought my car, and they were still able to do it. She looked at my brother with a snotty attitude and said, "I guess you need to go to DMV." read more

I am the executrix on an estate and I went here for title help. The girl I had (can't remember her name but she was an Irish red head ;-) ) was great! She spent a lot of time and had to rebuild a few titles for me. I am returning tomorrow to finish the last of them. I had excellent service. I did notice there was one girl that was a bit "rough" but mainly because people were wanting stuff that legally could not be done or they did not have the proper documentation with them. read more

One of my worst experience with a 'Service" company. I have four abandoned vehicles on my property. The owners have left them here for months without paying for them. Called for Marie earlier today to touch bases with her company and to schedule an appointment. Who ever answered the phone was rude. Instead of taking a message for Marie, who had been recommended by a business associate, or discussing my situation with me on the phone she sent me to voicemail. I left what I thought was a cogent message, asked for a call back which I never got and made arrangements for a fairly long drive from East Mesa to West Mesa. Relying on me associates good recommendation I overlooked how I had been treated rudely on the phone and that my call had not been returned to mean that all was well and I fought the traffic, the heat and major road construction on Guadalupe Road to their office. When I got to their office nobody knew anything about me or me my previously unreturned phone call. Marie told me she was not sure but did not think her company did abandoned titles and though there were no other customers in the office had no time for me. She would not check her books or call the boss. All she did was treat me like an idiot that maybe a district DMV Office could help me or maybe I would have to go downtown. It occurs to me that they probably do have authority and the contractual obligation with the State to handle such claims and were just too lazy and unmotivated to start the process I hope to follow up with the State next week just out of curiosity but for them not even to return my phone call was lousy. read more

I had a complicated Title transfer and was dreading spending 4 hours at the DMV office the last day of the month but I knew I had to do it. So today my daughter and I went over to DMV and waited an hour before deciding to call Desert Title Service. Had I known I could go in to a place with no lines get a title release and a title transfer I would have checked them out sooner. I called their office while sitting in the DMV and drove over. In less then 15 minutes I had the title released and the title transferred. Daughter had new plates and her title in less then 5. If you need anything to do with your car I urge you to call them and/or visit their office. You will be surprised at how fast and efficient their office is. Fast service but the blonde older lady was very rude to my 2 year old daughter. She seemed like a miserable lady.

It is much faster than going to MVD, which is the whole point I suppose. If you have the opportunity, you may want to find another place. The employees are not courteous or even basically helpful. Maybe it's because customers are in rotten moods when they have to deal with licensing and paperwork, but the staff are very sour. They also are not very well informed of the services which they provide (I've been there three times trying to get my car put in my name and each time was told I needed different things and ultimately they couldn't do it). If you're in a pinch it is better than MVD, but not by much. read more

OMG ........ So I moved here from ohio and went and got new plates and a tag for my car. The place gave me the wrong year tag. They gave me a tag for 8 days instead of a full year. I did not notice it until I got pulled over by a cop. He gave me a ticket. I then called the place told them of the issue they said ok we will give you a new tag we will call you when its ready, the lady also said that she would give me a letter for court so I wouldn't have to pay a fee to court. I waited and got NO call. I called them back today and she says oh yeah your tag is here but you will have to wait for the letter to be typed and mailed to you. WHAT??? I have court next week. I have to have the letter by then. She also stated she called me to let me know about the tag. NOT TRUE. I got no call from her. OMG I would never go to this place again. I want to also say that when we went to get the tag I waited 10 minutes for the two lady's behind the counter to finish doing whatever it was they where doing. There was no one in line a head of me but yet still waited 10 minutes. You might have to wait at the BMV longer but at least its done RIGHT with no FEE. I paid them a fee to screw up and wait. read more
