I called to ensure the notary would be there and no appointment was needed. Arrived 5 min later. "Oh the notary has to leave to get her daughter." "But I just called. You're not closed yet." "Sorry. Come back tomorrow." "But I just called." Nobody did anything. The manager tried to gaslight me that I had somehow called the wrong office. Nope. Showed him my phone. All I got was a pathetic shrug. And then we signed up and we also got the AAA membership card. I've shopped around and I've noticed that AAA has had a better service than any other one so come in and look for Zac and he'll help you out.. they can also help you with your travel plans and any other insurance you want for your house. read more

International Drivers Permits are an internationally-recognized translation of your driver's license. They are generally issued in the country of your driver's license.  there are only two authorized providers of international driver permits for American residents: AAA and AATA. Everything else you find online will send you "unofficial" documents, ie. fake. We chose to get ours through our local AAA. It was quick and easy. We gave them our Arizona driver's license and filled out paperwork, they were able to take our "passport" picture and we were soon on our way. We did get a discount on the pictures as we are AAA members. read more

I had my battery replaced today. Service advisor quoted 1 hour and it was done within 45 minutes. The reason this Branch did not earn a five-star rating is because the Wi-Fi password did not work and the office staff were aware that the password had expired and had not attempted to try to get it fixed. In addition, I had to use the restroom and the facility was filthy. They did provide coffee and water while I waited but no snacks. They charged me $250 for 45 minutes worth of Labor to remove my old battery and to put in a new battery costing $189. Yes, that's right. Nearly $500 to replace a battery. Can you say outrageous. read more

I got an International Driving Permit (IDP) online for a crazy amount, and I received a confirmation email from the rental company. The policy requires an IDP from AAA or AATA only. I went inside the Chandler branch only to pay $20 and get my photo for the IDP in a matter of minutes. The online IDP would take 14-21 days plus didn't meet the car rental's policy. I also was able to get a membership for my teenage son. I know it will help a lot since he was w/his grandpa and the tire blew when he was visiting. The rental car didn't have a spare. I had to drive an hour to get to them, buy a new tire, and change it out in 110 weather. Now he's not worried at all. Great security, safety and reassurance. read more

Customer service has gone down hill, I left my vehicle there for a service engine light and transmission pan drop Saturday on time 10am appointment and not only was it not completed on time cause they claimed they couldn't find the problem but they failed to call back to explain the issue once it was discovered and replaced parts with no customer confirmation or consent to go ahead and replace the part. they just went ahead and changed it and tacked it to my bill. And charged me an extra 187.15 dollars. it supposedly turned out to be a thermostat a 35$ part. But i find that diagnoses suspect seeming as I just replaced this part a month ago and had zero over heating issues. Prior to this service engine light. I installed it myself along with a brand new radiator, hoses and mass airflow sensor. It does not take 2 full 9 hour work days to replace a thermostat nor to diagnose one. That's an hour or 2 labor max. All of this made no sense nor did the techs stay behind to explain it to me,the customer, either, they just left the front desk holding the bag, whom of which couldn't explain anything to me. And the closing front desk was also waiting outside with the door open waiting on me as to hurry up and get out of my ride there quickly, so they could close immediately like I was an inconvenience to them. When I had to scramble to find a way to and from work last minute Monday cause they didn't finish on time in the first place. Then waited until the last second to close to finish my vehicle. The whole experience was just completely unprofessional all around and I do not recommend this location nor will I be returning to it. It didn't used to be this way in the past, I don't know what changed but yea unacceptable especially for the prices we're paying for parts and labor these days. The middle class are being stomped out by inflation and price gouging everywhere. read more

This place did a very good job on my car I'll tell you that but the prices was wayyyyy off they tried to charge me $844 for my serpentine belt and coolant hose replacement and when I called bmw to see their price it was $500. When I told them that they offered to give me a lower price so watch out for that they will cheat you. Also driver gave me a coupon book and told me to use as many coupons Bc I was able to stack them and then the guys up front told me no and went to go ask his boss who then they started whispering and looking back at me and told me no. WARNING' to other AAA Insurance members; I've been a loyal customer almost 3 decades. They have a lack of safety concern & well being for their customers. AAA Insurances said that morning, that there would be no problem towing, for my husband-82 miles to transport a car we bought. We only needed to provide proof of our auto Insurance. We provided proof of insurance, verification the car was in my husbands name, & We took it a step further and had it notarized. At 7 pm, the AAA tow driver arrived 4 hours late. He said he wasn't authorized to do the tow and drove away. Leaving my disabled husband stranded~in the dark,rain, with his service dog, no medications, to far from home, our car on the road side, and the U-Haul store, just around the corner, closed. The driver, refusing to transport even though they had said they would that morning when I arranged the tow. I scrambled to get my husband to a hotel until the next morning. My husband paid for an auto transporter and pulled the car home. I always paid my AAA Insurance on time and never late. I contacted AAA Insurance Customer Service,about this over a week ago. Today I finally received an email response, it had wrong facts & information, no resolution to the hazardous behavior of the driver, and zero responsibility on the company's behalf. DO NOT JOIN AAA! Have been a member for over 25 years, customer service and reliability have deteriorated. Recently had to submit paperwork for battery replacement, spoke to Kenysha who stated that we would receive a check for $158 for battery replacement. Received a telephone call two weeks later from Angelo, (801) 401-6748, who stated that he did his due diligence and since apparently the original call of service was canceled we would not be receiving the refund for battery replacement. The problem originated when my son, who is attending college in Durango, CO called AAA for assistance with the battery and having already had the battery tested knew that a new battery was needed. The original battery was purchased September 2021. AAA Colorado advised my son that the nearest battery was 300 miles away and that they would not be able to assist him, the AAA provider that contacted him was in Grand Junction, CO. Son called a second time that day and AAA Colorado once again routed him to the same AAA provider in Grand Junction, so same advise was told to my son, that they were over 300 miles away. Son called AAA for a third time and asked if he could buy a battery and get reimbursed for the battery, to which AAA stated that he would and that he would have to take the receipt of new battery and submit paperwork at the Durango branch of AAA. Since, I am the primary member Kenysha called me weeks later and the original receipt for battery purchased from AAA was submitted. Thinking all was good, Angelo called and advised that we would not get a reimbursement since the service call was canceled. When I asked Angelo, who canceled the call he could not answer, just stated that the call was canceled. When I explained what my son was told by the AAA Colorado provider, Angelo stated that they did not tell him that and we would not receive a reimbursement. When I asked, who he spoke to, Angelo stated that he did not notate that information but that it did not matter. So since AAA does not stand behind their products and the poor customer service, I advise all not to join AAA. After 25 years of membership I do know that the services provided are not worth being treated with disrespect. read more

I was told that my insurance plan would cover a cracked windshield by Tana Volpentest when i signed up, I made sure about it before I left and she even highlighted it for me on my receipt/ coverage details. Come to find out, I do not. Which is VITAL in AZ. I go back and she mentions a better plan to get me covered which is now pointless for this one. So far every time I've used AAA roadside assistance I have had to wait such an unreasonable amount of time to get help. The first instance was when my alternator went out on my jeep right outside of Sky Harbor. Made me and my GF wait 3-3 1/2 hours to get towed back to my place. The second instance is when I had a flat tire. I called to have them switch the tire out with my spare and they told me it'd be between 2 and 3 hours before they get to me. This is absolutely absurd! I understand that some things may be lagging behind but 3 hours each time i request EMERGENCY roadside assistance....? Thank God Im not dying... Also Im a 5 year member (gold card), and I dont feel like that means anything to them especially with how unresponsive they are to roadside assistance. Supposedly there was an outage, but how does that affect them getting to me. I gave them my info and location so all you need is a person to come help me. I know the outage doesnt affect their GPS's, so how hard is it to send a person to me in a truck to come help so I can get on with my day. read more

She has been first class all the way. Communication is super easy. She takes the time to listen to us. Even staying on hold with Disney for minutes on end for a simple question. I have been to this location of AAA three times. On the first visit, a line started forming behind me. I was next in line and a man came over to the counter to help me. When I told him what I wanted, he told me he couldn't help me with it and that I had to be helped by someone else. At that point, someone behind me was now being helped by the person who COULD help me. I was directed to wait on the side and that someone would come help me when they were available. I watched as three others were helped in front of me. I was eventually helped to get my daughter's passport photos. They were very accommodating and, since I am a AAA Plus member, the passport photos were free. They took several pictures until they were happy with them and then showed me the picture to confirm I was happy, too. While waiting for the photos to print, we were invited to come back the next day because the San Diego Zoo would be bringing some Koalas to the office. They said that if it rained, they had a backup plan to have the animals in the space next door to their office. We came the next day and even invited another family to join us (having posted an open invitation to everyone we knew at my daughter's school because the agent asked me to do so). When we showed up, there was nothing on exhibit. When we asked if they were next door because rain was on the horizon, they said that they hadn't asked if there was power next door. Since there wasn't, the zoo canceled. It was a little annoyance to me, but it was very disappointing to the children. They had looked up koalas and were so excited to see them live! C'est la vie! I had to go back to this office to get some passport photos taken for an id badge. As I waited, I heard a woman talking to one of the employees and asking about planning a vacation. The woman had been directed to this employee's desk, but when she approached the employee and asked her to help her... the employee was completely rude to her. At first, she acted like she was completely disinterested, even saying... I don't know why they sent you over here, I can't help you. Then when the woman clarified what kind of vacation she wanted to plan, the woman finally started typing and, presumably, started to help the customer. It was very off-putting. I was called back to take my passport photo, but as I was stepping back toward the wall to get the photo taken a man spraying insecticide sprayed the wall behind me and kept spraying continuously along the baseboards. The woman taking my picture asked me to step back further. As I have an allergy to some pesticides/insecticides, I asked if we could do it on another wall. She said I couldn't and to get as close as possible to avoid a shadow. I did. I wasn't quite ready for the photo when she took it, but she did not bother showing it to me or asking me if I was pleased with it. Still, it was free to me as a AAA Plus member. You get what you pay for. Overall, I will be avoiding this AAA office. I have been a member of AAA since the 90s when on my parents' plan and continuously since 2002 on my own plan. I have never had an issue with the service. I just don't really care for their office. read more

I came in here a few weeks ago to get some tickets for Disney land. The lady that helped us was really nice and explained a lot of the different optioins for us. Disney land does not really have great discounts. But, the AAA discount is probaly the best one out there. At least that we could find. We got the 2 day hopper pass and now since we have gone I think the 3 or 4 day would really be the best. Because one day in each place,(Disney land and California Adventure is just not enough time. The really good thing with the AAA discount tickets is you get free parking as well. Which is a savings of $16.00 a day. So that is really good as well. They are very helpful at the office, they can answer all your questions. There is lots of parking in the lot and the Office is quite large. They even gave me a gift for stopping in and being a long time AAA member. read more

First of all I love AAA. Have been a Premier member for years and have all my insurance with AAA. So, when it was time for me to purchase a car, I thought, AAA! Well, let me tell you, after 24+ hours I spoke to Bob Campbell, he was out of the office. They didn't have the car on the web site, as it was sold, good for them. He called me back with another suggestion "Denali" which wasn't even close to my Equinox 2016 that I was looking for. I never received a call back after 2 plus weeks. I ended up going to the dealership on my own (I am 65 and would have preferred the help). Locked my car keys inside the car and called roadside assistance right away...was on the phone waiting for someone to pick up for over 8 minutes and NO ANSWER! I decided to download app while waiting still and soon as I requested service through the app...in less than 10 minutes the service technician arrived and got my car keys back out of my car in a jiffy!
