Super fast and efficient! We were in and out in 15 minutes or less (definitely less). Adam helped us out today. Will definitely recommend to others to come to this location. read more

This place is super-fast and convenient. I've had emissions done here on all my cars, I've been coming here for decades and their staff is very courteous and helpful, always. Saturdays are busy but weekdays especially middle of the day after lunch are not that bad. You can now make appointments also. Cost is reasonable and they give you the certificate to get your registrations. If you fail they offer some services inside that help you get your vehicle emissions "PASS" ready. read more

ADEQ Emission Testing - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

Shortest wait time in the valley. Amberlyn was full of character and very thorough. When I told her my registration was due today, she recommended a title and registration business in the next parking lot over. I was amazed that it was only $16. Great service, awesome staff, will be there next year! read more

Well if you have a vehicle in Maricopa county that newer than a 1966, you have to have emissions on it. Sure, you can do classic insurance on certain vehicles in order to bypass the test however, if that's not possible, you have no choice. And since there's only one place to go, OF COURSE I recommend them. But this location went above and beyond. I don't know the guys name but after he tested our car, he noticed a vacuum line off. He told us about it and told us to hook it back up and bring it back. I think you're supposed to wait a certain amount of time but we left, fixed the hose, went right back, and he took us right back in. I think had he noticed it BEFORE doing the test, he probably would have told us right away OR maybe even plugged it back in (I don't think they are allowed to do that tho). Anyway, all said and done, the car passed, and we are on the road, licensed and legal! read more

Terry - Older man with white hair, was very nice while doing my emissions inspection, I rolled up and he immediately had a smile on his face and was very kind while giving directions of what to do. I want to give this POSITIVE review because, to be honest this is not my usual experience while getting emissions completed, they are usually not so nice haha but Terry was different. He was also super efficient with what he did, it's the fastest my emissions has ever been completed. Overall he did an awesome job and was a great reflection on who he works for. read more

Fast and efficient, was able to get in and out on a Saturday morning in less than 15 minutes.

Came yesterday and 3 guys said I had a loose DCL. WRONG! Had to waste a trip to AAA for nothing today and come back here where AMBERLY was just the sweetest and most efficient person. Mahalo for your smile, warmth, and sharing your aloha story with me! 5stars to AMBERLY! read more

Fast and efficient - that's how I'd describe my experience here! I came in for a smog check and was blown away by the top-notch service. I passed with flying colors! Major kudos to the hardworking team who brave the scorching Arizona heat (over 100 degrees!) to keep things running smoothly. You all are truly appreciated! read more

Prompt service. Even when there's a line, it moves along quickly. I always use this center & have never had a problem.

I came to this location after reading all the great reviews. I'm a young girl and this was my first time getting an emissions test so I was already a little stressed about the process and what to expect. As I was waiting in the express line they decided to open another express line, but instead of someone instructing those who had already been waiting to move over it was a big free for all so about 5 cars that showed up after me ended up getting serviced before me. Then one of the workers began waving the vehicle in front of me to move into the next lane to get serviced and when he began waving again it appeared he was looking at me so I continued forward. There was obvious miscommunication because he was upset and yelling at me before I even rolled my window down saying "who told you to come over here because it wasn't me". It was an honest mistake but he made me feel so stupid and harshly explained why what I did wasn't okay because of their ticketing system running on a timer. I felt awful however my mistake didn't warrant being yelled at. I will say he did apologize for yelling at me saying it was uncalled for so I can appreciate that but it still left me feeling uneasy. My suggestion for them is to implement better protocols or have someone navigate some of the traffic when they decide to open up another lane to limit the confusion. Obviously my experience was unique and I'm sure they are all lovely most of the time, I was just really caught off guard with the way I was treated. I'll probably go to the Chandler location next time. read more

I have to frequent the Emission centers and the morning I was looking online at my usual spot, the video camera showed me more cars in line then I could ever imagine. I have the early COVID panic shopping feeling... Thankfully when I looked at other locations, I saw that this only had a handful of vehicles waiting so I jumped into the car and within 10 mins found myself in line with only 2 cars in front. Couldn't be happier. I took a screen shot of the previous location and when I returned home I saw that the Camper and 2 unique vehicles were still in the waiting line. Best option and the staff was friendly and on point to direct cars into the right bay. read more

Fast service, rep cars ahead of me when I went less than 10 minute wait, in and out, highly recommended

I was pleasantly surprised to find this test location and not have a lengthy wait, bad attitude workers, or any other drama headed my way. I think I was there all of 10 minutes, clearly having chosen the perfect time of day to arrive. The gentlemen that did the test wasn't exactly chatty, which is fine by me, but he was friendly and did what he needed to do efficiently. N complaints here! I paid my fee and was on my way! Much appreciated! read more

ADEQ Emission Testing - Five functional lanes - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

The coolest part is how you're able to check the lines (aka approximate wait time) with their live feed cameras online before you decide to drive there. The website recommended between 4-5pm for shortest wait times, so I took my chances and arrived just before 4:30pm on Monday. Lady Luck must have been on my side because I made it through the line by 5:00pm. They move fast! The emissions test costs $17 and they accept cash, credit, and check. read more

No long lines they were fast and accurate and very communicative. The facilities were clean and the workers were nice so overall, I would give them five stars. read more

No one likes going to emissions but this place isn't bad. I've never had to wait long here. The staff and service is great for an emissions center. There's a third party DMV right next door so you can get your tags when you're done here! The location is tucked away on the side street so it can be hard to find. read more

We had our vehicle emissions test done today at the W 1st Ave location in Mesa. Another line opened up and Kevin, the technician, waved us over. He explained the process in detail. He was awesome and we were finished in less than 10 minutes. Many thanks for your professionalism Kevin!! read more

Great facility as far as keeping the lines moving along as well as an easy process. Two lines were open when I rolled up each with about 6 cars in line. They opened a third line and I was next. I'd say I waited about 15 before my test. The entire test took 5 minutes plus paying $17.00. The accept cash, checks and bank cards (see photo for details). read more

Then service is fast the staff I met, were polite and happy to help. I came on Yelp just to make a comment about how great one of their workers (Terry) is. He's an older gentleman and has an awesome happy up beat attitude, I always hate coming to these places but (Terry) made it a great experience. Idk how much this man makes but he deserves a raise. His attitude towards his job is great. Wish we had a lot more people like (Terry). I hope he reads this and remembers that I told him I liked his service so much I'd give him a yelp review, I Came in a 2012 Orange Mini cooper. Thank you Terry ! read more

Straight up f***ing trash I waited almost 2 hrs in a bullshit line for emmisons the place is so slow I litterly waited 45 mins for only 3 cars ahead of me to be checked so your telling me it take 15 plus minutes to emission one vehicle? Do not go here go elsewhere! read more

Everyone knows its very stressful dealing with car stuff in the first place. Let alone having to miss work because of these things. It would be really helpful for a business to have accurate hours on all platforms, so their clients have the correct information. Instead they want to get argumentative when you show up at 5 right when they are closing(Yelp and google both say 7:00pm). They then explain "well it says 5 on our sign". Okay no one just takes time off of work and drives to a place hoping/assuming they are open or to read a sign with hours of operation. That's what the internet is for! read more

I prepaid and the email said pull up into the lane with your hazard lights on. The very rude employee Donald (older guy) shakes his head as I'm pulling in and I roll my window down and doesn't say hello doesn't ask me how he can help me, says very rudely shaking his head "Why are your hazard lights on?" Well that's what the instructions in my email said. He said if you're here for no contact you need to pull around and go to lane 3. Rude rude rude. If I hadn't already paid I would've went somewhere else. read more

Emissions is a tedious activity, but this review is not about that. There's not much you can do to make this a pleasant activity, but I do expect to have someone at all time navigating traffic. There are plenty of people just standing around inside the garage who could step outside and show people where to pull up. read more

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Pulled up Wednesday morning around 9 and was out by 9:07! Seems like a great location.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Rude employees. Huffing & puffing the entire time. Mumbling instructions. They act as if you are inconveniencing them. Save yourself the headache and choose another location. read more

Express lane went very quickly on Friday afternoon. I was able to renew the car registration the following day. I'll be back in 2 years.

Fast, organized, and polite. The used car I had just bought failed and I was so stressed, but they swiftly sent me to a double-check lane and took another way of testing and it was because of the computer breathalyzer on my car messing it up, not my emissions, so I passed. I am so grateful they know what they're doing here and take the time. read more

What are people talking about? Went to this location today and was 3rd in line. Very easy and quick.
