So, if you've got the hour to wait across the street at the DMV, you could save yourself some money. If you're in a rush or it's the weekend, this place could be worth the costly fees. I was here last week, filled out an application, their system was down, had to come back. I had to return to complete the application and my dumbass paid the $65. Just a warning to parents who are going to get their kids licensed. It is not a points based system it is a pass/fail. So if you're child makes one mistake they fail. I've taken my two boys here for license 5 months apart and they both failed first test over one mistake. You have to pay again until they pass. My older daughter went through the DMV and it was a point system so easier to pass and free. If you're going here because you think it will be more convenient DONT! It's almost a guaranteed first fail so you will be back paying the next day. Also, people here are even more rude than the DMV. You kinda expect it at the DMV but here you're paying so you'd think they'd be a little nicer. read more

very expensive $30 for driver license replacement when you can get it for $12!. Only paid the premium price because I was under the assumption that I was going to recieve a physical copy so I can get my money from Walmart. Turns out the Walmart only excepts physical IDs. Don't pay $18 extra just get your replace from an actual adot location and save the money it's the same 2 week wait. Theres no need to throw away your money the paper receipt they give is basically completely useless it's not valid for id purpose. i wish they told me this before I over paid for an id that i won't recieve for 2 week and now im also stuck with a crappy photo I wasn't ready for. read more

Told me I wrote on the title to hard... my pen died so I wrote 1 number more bold. Went to the real mvd and was told that's no issue at all and questioned why they didn't allow it. Do Not go here just save time and money going to the MVD across the street. read more

This place does not feel faster than the regular MVD, nor is it a nicer facility, it does not have nicer employees and worst of all, it is WAY more expensive than the MVD. They do not have prices posted anywhere and they gouge you once you're done jumping through the hoops. A regular REAL ID License is $25 at the MVD and this place charged us $65 for the very same license. read more

The countdown to register for your Arizona Travel ID (Driver License) is on! Get it before October 1, 2020, otherwise you'll need a passport or another federally approved ID card to make it through airport security. This location made it super easy to come in, fill out the simple application, present my forms of ID (see the attached image), get my picture, pay my tab, and get out in less than 15 minutes. To boot, I did it all while holding my one-year-old in my left arm! The key to making the experience quick is to do your homework and come outfitted with the right documents. I didn't have physical documents for a couple accepted materials, so I chose to download a few at home and save digital copies to my email. When I arrived, I emailed the copies to the MVS Services email address visible at the teller station and the nice lady assisting me printed them off. I imagine that this place can get busy, and depending on the purpose of your visit, your wait may be longer than mine. I recommend that you research what you need to bring and even call ahead to check on wait times. Every time I've called, there was always someone helpful on the other end. After completing the process, I received my new travel ID in the mail about two weeks later. The only downside is the expiration dates aren't as far out as the old ones! read more

Let's face it, going to MVD is worse than getting a root canal. Next time I have MVD matter I'll come here first. Fast friendly service. I think I was in and out in about 25 minutes. I couldn't tell you about the fees because I was registering a 98 Dodge Neon. How expensive could that be? I think the gas in the tank is worth more than the vehicle itself. These guys make the actual DMV look organized and helpful. I've tried 3 times this week to get a simple license. I've had 3 separate excuses as to why they can't help me after waiting 30 min. Nobody answers the phone to answer questions. Their hours for license services are different than listed on the door. They work hard to get out of work. I won't pay a premium for that level of incompetence & indifference. One of my pet peeves in life is people making easy things difficult. That's exactly what the employees here do. Limited seating. 3 out of 10 windows open and employees behind glass move at a snail's pace, potentially training for the real MVD culture. All this and I got to pay a "convenience fee" too. Horrible service, I came in simply for a title and register a vehicle I had bought from my uncle older family member after his wife passed away. I went on a Sat morning, 04/13 it wasn't super busy I pressed the button for title/registration and within about 5-7 mins I was at window number 6... Younger looking female, I tell her what I need and she first asks where is my bill of sale, my uncle got the duplicate title and already plugged my info into the spaces on the title. I told her I didn't have one, She then proceeds to tell me, Let me see the title, looks it over for maybe 20 seconds, and she tells me "Nope we can't do it". One of the dates which all were the same date but just one spot looked like he originally wrote a 9 and then made it darker with an 8, (he's an older man so probably got days mixed up, and this was also a day or so after burying his wife, most def scatter brained) she proceeds to tell me "We send copies to MVD. And they will immediately cancel it and say that it looks "Altered"."Mind you she didn't ask for a supervisors approval or ask anyone else, simply dismissed me and told me "yeah nope we can't your going to have to go to MVD... I was livid. So you know what I did!! I took my not so happy self over to Desert Motor Vehicle Services on Guadalupe and guess what I came in 20 mins prior to closing and they HAPPILY did it for me, didn't ask for a bill or sale or even SAY ANYTHING about the title looking altered at all. Went here to do the last and final step to get my license re-instated and the guy working there in the black glasses kept telling me that he couldn't do it and I asked him why and what I needed to do and he kept saying he's waiting on the state and the courts (which was a lie because it was settled 2 years ago). So then he kept saying I need to go to "The State" while interrupting his "snapchat conversation with his buddy sitting next to him." Instead of helping me. Then I asked him what going to "The State" means and then the guy called me an asshole and said he won't process anything and walked away then his manager came over defending him. Incredible disappointed, if you want nothing but a bunch of teenagers helping you with your important stuff and you want to be harassed behind the windows then come here. read more

I went to take my son for his permit test I arrived about 5pm. When we arrived one employee asked what we were there for and I told her for my son to take his permit test. She looked at her watch then proceeded to give me an application to fill out. After filling it out she told us we just needed to wait for our number to be called. My son and I waited 20 minutes just to be told the last time to test for day was at 5pm. I don't mind that he couldn't take the test but communication is key to good customer service. All they had to do when we came in was communicate that he wouldn't be able to test versus having us sit for 20 minutes to be told no. read more

Tried to come in and transfer my registration for my car when I moved back into the state and lost the registration for the car.The first day I called and asked if i had power of attorney and drivers license the employee said that was fine. I went in and they said it wasn't enough. They said if I had a copy of the title it would work since I dont have the registration. I again called and asked right before going in and they again confirmed that is all needed. When I got in and waited the employee again rejected me and said that those documents were still not enough. They need to hold the employees on the phone accountable for wasting customers time. Every single time I attempt to get something done there the employees on the phone say something different then what the in person employees say. Complete waste of time. Went there to get the travel ID (and to change my picture on my driver's license because the current one is terrible) and I went with my mom and we were first in line. So my mom pulled a ticket and I figured I didn't need to pull one because I'll just go up with her and all the people behind me pulled a ticket and when we got up to the window, the guy said I had to pull a ticket so I'm like nope I'm not doing this today because I'm not waiting after all those other people when I was first in line. What does it really matter if I pull a ticket or not? We had another appointment after so I couldn't wait after all the other people anyways when we were the first ones there. I've never cared for this location so I will be going back to a different one because the people here are not customer service friendly anyways. read more

What a waste of time. Seems the younger Hispanic girl with the bleach blonde hair and make up almost similar to a sideshow clown, has no clue what she's doing nor has any idea of Arizona State Statutes regarding 30 day general purpose tags to replace the 90 days non-resident tag when a non-resident couldn't transport the vehicle within the time allotted. (90 days). Even after showing her ALL the research I printed out stating the state law, she claimed that because they are a "third party" company, they can't accept it... So, me not being familiar with this sort of "dog and pony show" type of business, i gather they change the laws to whatever suits their schedules. Smh read more

Taking a written test here is an absolute joke. Yes, there is usually no wait time, but for good reason. They charge you more than the DMV cost, which I am more than happy to pay to avoid waiting at the dmv for an hour or more. But I would expect the testing formats to be the same. The problem is that their test is on paper, using images that are very small and not printed clearly, making it difficult to answer questions based on an image printed poorly. The DMV uses a computer test. Additionally, if you fail a test, they do not provide you with the answers to all of the incorrect questions. So there is no way to know what you did wrong. I am surprised that the DMV has approved this testing location as an alternative. This place is Fine for title transfers and registration, but not acceptable for testing. read more

I have used many third-party services and this is by far the worst it might be due to the fact that they are always busy and throws off their customer service but it is not a quick place and you might as well go to DMV as the wait times I have experience here are worse than the DMV's. WORST PLACE EVER. I've been back here four times to try and get my state id for over 6 months. Only after the last time I went they told me my request for it has been canceled every time. They said to call in a few days to check on it, but they have an automated message and can never connect with someone there. read more

Wowowow fastest DMV place I've ever been to in my life!!!! Only took 10 mins to get my brand new Arizona driver's license after moving here! TEN MINUTES. The woman helping me was pleasant and helpful and really quick. There was about 4 other employees at windows and NO ONE else there except for me! I came midday on a Tuesday. I am impressed by this place.. My husband and dad went to a dmv location with the same name (farther into Mesa tho) and they got horrible service and it took 8 YEARSSSS for them to get their new licenses. Not really. I used their services in 2019 to get my drivers permit and deal with registration on my car. I did have some issues with miscommunication from different employees telling me what paperwork I needed, but it was tolerable. Those processes were decent and are the only reason why this is not a one star review. I did my driver's test with them in late 2020 or early 2021. I got my paper license but was told it would be a few weeks before my real one would come in the mail as adot and usps were backed up. I waited for a little over a month before going in again (my calls were going straight to voicemail on multiple different phones). I was told I would have to pay again (I did) and to give it 2 weeks. I went in today, exactly 2 weeks later, and was told I would have to pay yet again and that they wouldn't provide me with any proof that it was sent. So now I have been almost 6 months without a physical license and will have to take off work to go in to an actual adot location so I can get my license. I am very disappointed with how downhill their treatment of their customers have become and will not be returning. read more
