After having a busy day at work my husband and I stopped by to Denny's on Akers for our dinner date the moment we walked in a waitress by the name of Yessenia greeted us and right away seated us she right away made us feel welcome even though she was busy taking care of other tables that girl went above and beyond to make sure we received the service we deserve she is very out going and she knows her menu very good that was able to help us with what to order since we were undecided with what we wanted and no matter how busy she was she was on point with our refills for our drinks and the whole time we were there we saw her checking that all the other customers that were on the other tables were also doing ok even tho that those were not her tables I will definitely will be going back .thank you Denny's for having such an amazing hard working person you can really see that she loves what she does thank you Yessenia for your service I hope that everytime I go for dinner with my hubby you can serve us again read more

You may be better off left dying of hunger. I don't know what kind of establishment this is, but i in no way respect it. The ladies and gentlemen that were working were blatantly disrespectful AND purposely ignored me. There is no reason why i should have to wait for my pancakes to be cold to finally get served my syrup. When i say excuse me more than once and the staff just smirks instead of simply assisting me, that's when you know they don't belong in the customer service field. If doing your job properly is too difficult you may as well do everyone a favor and go home. You should treat everyone with respect. I am the guardian to disabled individuals, i can not afford to leave them by themselves to practically BEG at the counter for someone's most valuable precious time. Had breakfast here on an extremely busy Sunday morning. Got to take a quick seat at the counter and was served by Yesenia A. who cared for us and her other guests so well. She was happy and attentive and hussled for all of us. She stopped to chat a moment when my husband thought she tripped on a mat and shared She was worried one of her other coworkers might trip. She had new drinks for us by the time we finished the first glass without being asked. Remembered the condiments we asked for and was just generally a pleasure to be served by. It was obvious she takes pride in her job. Another gentleman came in who seemed to be a regular that she had the order ready in for right away and who she treated so kindly. Many of the staff members stopped by to greet him warmly. The morning crew was outstanding. They worked together seamlessly and even stopped to sing Happy Birthday to a young lady. Today was my nieces graduation and we had a party of 25. The service was really great. Although there were a couple big parties ahead of us, we were updated every so often on our wait time. That's something we appreciated it because it made us feel welcome and known. The manager Gladis Trujillo on duty was spectacular. She was helpful nice and really organized. We could tell she knew what she was doing. As soon as we were seated, we were waited on quick. The food took a while but it was totally worth the wait. Many servers and other employees came to check if we were ok. They offered drink refills and also offered to help us if we needed anything else. We may have been a headache and I want to thank Myla our server for keeping up with us. Today's experience was absolutely wonderful. Took our large family out to breakfast after a school Christmas performance, 9 people in total, waited a bit to be seated (naturally for our party size) but our waitress Yessenia A had such a bubbly personality when she came to take our order. She went above and beyond and made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. When she took her lunch she made sure to grab any last minute stuff we needed and introduced us to who would be taking over our table. She even offered to take a picture of our family for us as well, because duh if you don't document it, it didn't happen. 3 kids and a baby out for one of the first times eating in a restaurant since this pandemic started was no easy breakfast experience. Went there today and it was fucken trash !!!! This is new because I've been here plenty of times and this one time I go (as I'm bragging about great service) they disappoint me. First of I don't know what's going on but the staff seems off. The food came out cold. Our waiter came to our table once! When I asked to speak to a manager I got the biggest attitude. The short hair dark Mexican chick who may be a manager or whatever she's a fucken BITCH !!!!!! Her staff is all scared of her. You can tell when she walks in the room people get all nervous. Denny's is a predictable place. Just like any other chain diner, you know exactly what you are going to get. This particular Denny's has that same food from every other Denny's. But this Denny's is set apart from all others. This Denny's has Brenda. Brenda makes the predictable dining experience into a memorable one. Brenda's attitude on life shines through her work ethic. Brenda isn't just another waitress, she is a person who can relate with you in everything. She loves her family and I feel like family when I am around her. We had a party of 26 people for a surprise birthday breakfast, I called a week in advance and again 3 days before and the morning of to make sure they were prepared for us and they wasn't ready for my guest and I. it was embarrassing to say the least then they tried seating us all separately when I specifically asked to be seated as a group, I had to spend the first ten minutes talking to management and employees just to have the tables arrange when we weren't completely separate. Lastly I had literally two guests who tried to use a coupon they had and were told the system mysteriously updated this morning and they did not allow it. This evening our waitress Yessenia A. made possible for my best friend/mentor and I to have a joyful time during our coffee chat. She was very pleasant and attentive. She prepared a fresh pot of decaf coffee especially for me since they had ran out. She even took memorable pictures of us when we asked her :) Even though Yessenia was working a double shift, she maintained a positive and energetic attitude. She would check up on us to make sure we were taken care of without interrupting our work. - impressive! Went to this Dennys last night with my family, and our server Myla was amazing! It was around 11pm and at the time she was the only server on our side and she still made sure my whole family had great service, and gave amazing service to tables around me. Her bubbly personality and just overall sweetness made our families night extra special. An extra thanks for also making my little boy feel special for his birthday. I will be asking for her next time I come to this Dennys. Great job, amazing customer service, keep it up! Wow. Just Wow!! (The good type of wow). The wait staff and cooking staff absolutely out did themselves. After being a repeat Denny's customer I can say without doubt that this is hands down the best Dennys experience I've had in decades. We came in just after 10pm with a church youth group for an after service hang out. A HUGE shout out to Vanessa and Peter -- they did an incredible job and were both attentive and patient. We walked in there at 1am Sunday and halfway stung our food this things started falling on my shins white tshirt! Baby roaches! I started killing them and we starting packing our food and informed server of situation. He said am sorry and walked away. As we got up to pay they started coming out of our booth chair . Very impressed with this Denny's. I thought it being Father's Day they would be extra busy and wasn't sure what to expect but excellent service was provided! One of the managers, Jasmine came and checked on us frequently. Overall, the service was exceptional and we will now make this our Denny's. We have been to the one in Handford a few times and that place is always dirty and service is horrible. Had dirty utensils and when asked for new ones I was brought more dirty utensils! Disgusting! I usually don't go to Dennys, but today my parents decided to go and just have a quick breakfast. We got sat and I wasn't thinking anything of it. But then this dude Manuel O. comes up to the table and and boom great service immediately, he gets us the honey we ask for he keeps trying to accommodate all of my parents weird requests. My Denny's experience, was a great moment because of a worker named Andrea. She was super nice to me and my friends, and I love coming all the time at night because of her or in the morning. Everytime I go in there everyone has a great attitude and always try's to make everyone feel welcomed. The floors and everything are always so clean, and they make it an amazing experience. Akers location #7658 - Yessenia A was my server : She was well groomed , friendly and efficient. The restaurant was very busy when I walked in (alone) , she got me seated quickly and was clearly busy but made me feel welcomed. The food was delicious and came to me before I expected. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome from the hosts standing at the front, the booth I was seated in was nice and clean and well lit. My server was very nice and welcoming and treated me very well. The food was amazing and was prepared fast.
