She told us about awesome happy hour deal they had going on which helped us saved some money. I want to thank this location for its incredible kindness. My parents are longtime Denny's lovers. However, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer earlier this year. He's currently in treatment and must avoid contact with large crowds. We were hoping to enjoy a meal for dine-in if it wasn't too busy- just for some sense of normalcy. I asked if we could be seated away from others due to my dad's condition. A friendly man seated us in a back corner booth and we had a lovely meal. All throughout we were commenting on how slow it was for a Saturday night, thinking we were just super lucky. However, when we were walking out we realized everyone else was purposely seated in a different section, leaving our section basically empty. We were so touched by this gesture. I wish I knew his name, but thank you so much, you made our night. read more

As always this neighborhood Denny's on the northwest side does not disappoint. The service is friendly and fast. The food is consistently good and they go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied. The new Cali taco skillet is yummy and pretty filling as it comes with 3 flour tortillas. The pancakes are always delicious and The OG can be added to any meal. You can also add a beautiful fried whole jalapeño. The berry stuffed French Toast slam is very sweet so be prepared for the super sugar rush. You can't go wrong with anything on the breakfast menu. Staff turnover is low so you see the same friendly smiles when you dine at this location. My fiance and I came to have lunch and we have never dealt with such a bad, nasty attitude like we did today. Our servers name was 'America' ???? and she was absolutely horrible. Never once checked in on how our food was or if we even needed anything. At the end of our lunch we both needed a water refill and some boxes. She came to our table and gave us a CHOICE. She asked, "did you guys want more water or did you guys just want box?" Like girl???? Give us BOTH? Lmfao???? Girl needs to get fired asap. Smh. No one wants to work or put quality into anything. Service was very slow, and the food came out cold. I ordered the mac and cheese, which I've had at several other Denny's, and it's normally served with a nice char on top. Here, it looked and tasted like it was just microwaved no char at all and even cold in some spots. I also never got a refill on my iced tea, which was disappointing. We are visiting Visalia and have found the place where we have a great breakfast to start the day. I gave a review the first day and now give another review. Food The food was great as usual. We have the Cheddar Eggs special. This is the best breakfast. Ambience This is a busy and new Dennys. It is well maintained. Service Normally, the service has been great, friendly. Today, not so much. This is the reason for the drop in the review from 5 to 3 stars. The service was terrible. It appears we were ignored by our main server. The rest of the servers were great. The main server didn't come back to help at all. read more

We had a slight 10 minute wait when we first got here but it was well worth the wait. Someone pleasantly greeted us, took our name and asked our preference for a booth or table. Although they were busy it wasn't overcrowded. A very friendly lady seated us and another friendly lady took our drink order and let us know that our server "Brenda" would be with us shortly to take our order. Brenda came over with a great smile and introduced herself and took our order. Brenda is an asset to Denny's and should be recognized for her excellent customer service. She is great at upselling as almost everything she offered we didn't know we needed she checked on us regularly and made sure we were well taken care of. The food was also delicious. We ate visiting the area and would absolutely return and asked to be seated in Brenda's (our new best friend LOL) section. She made the experience great. read more

Came in on a quiet evening craving pancakes after a long drive. The food was top notch, the atmosphere is comfortable & clean. The service couldn't have been better . Wow. 5 stars for those in the restaurant. ------ I was, however, shocked that when I asked the waitress to "close me out", she returned with the credit card slip, and there was NO WHERE to leave a tip. It seems if the waitress takes the bill and credit card, they have to close the card out before seeking the card owners signature. I found myself without the ability to tip after a great experience. Management, get into the 1990, err, I mean 2000s, err 2010s, wee 2020s, there is a way that the card can be run and the customer still be afforded the opportunity to tip. Shameful. I had to leave, find a machine, and return to leave a top. Great dining experience but I left with a bad taste in my mouth. read more
