She was covering quite a few tables, so it did seem like they were a little short-staffed that day, but she still did a good job taking care of us. We ordered the Million Dollar Bacon Breakfast Sandwich with seasoned potatoes, along with the Farmstead Tacos with potatoes and a side of Million Dollar Bacon. The tacos and breakfast sandwich were both good, but the maple bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was absolutely delicious! I ordered the pickled jalapeños on the side, which was perfect for me. One suggestion for the Farmstead Tacos: the shells are VERY thin. I would recommend doubling up on the shells, similar to how they're served at many Mexican restaurants, so they hold together better and provide a little more support for the filling. The seasoned potatoes were unfortunately too salty for my taste. I would suggest using less seasoning. I'm not sure if they come pre-seasoned, but next time I'll probably request no additional seasoning to see if that makes a difference. Tip: Download their app and sign up for their email list! They offer specials, promotions, and even BOGO coupons and other deals, which can definitely help you save on future visits. Overall, we enjoyed our breakfast and would definitely come back--especially for that Million Dollar Bacon breakfast sandwich!

Went there Thursday- arrived at 10am. There were 4 adults & 2 children in our group. There was a 15…read moreminute wait. It was busy & outside seating wasn't open yet because it had just rained. Very nice decor inside and out, great vibe and was very clean. Once seated, our waitress took our drink order. We ordered 2 Abuelita chocolate lattes, 1 cafe de olla, 1 water and 1 juice for a child. She took our order and our food was served 10 minutes later! Our orders were: chilaquiles Rojas, enchilada suizas de pollo, entomatadas de arrrachera, flautas de tinga, scrambled egg and a dessert- beso de angel. I ordered the flautas, they were covered with an avocado cream sauce and some pickled onions in a chipotle flavored red chile. The flautas were crispy, avocado sauce was delicious, I didn't care for the onions- it had a "bold" taste- different from other pickled onions I've tasted. The red chile was good with a slight chipotle flavor. They were stuffed with shredded chicken and were very good. I tasted every dish and here's my opinion- red chilaquiles were ok- red chile was good, I feel they needed a little more chile as they were a tad dry. The beans were ok. The enchilad suizas were good the green sauce was flavorful, my niece did find a hair in it so they made her a new plate and profusely apologized. The entomatadas were good, the arrachera was ok- some pieces a little chewier than others and the salsa they sat in was yummy. The beso de angel was delicious. It's a thin piece of cake with flan on top covered with a caramel cream sauce and nuts- or that's what I tasted and considered it to be. The abuelita chocolate lattes were very strong and sweet- the girls didn't like them as much. The cafe de olla was very good. I tasted it without cream and it was good. Overall great experience, great service and great vibe. There was a young man that attended to us as well- Jose. He was very friendly and so helpful. He made our experience worth every penny spent!! In asking everyone how they liked their food, they said it was good- not big fans of the lattes. My niece said their desserts were delicious along with the coffee- she had been there before. My sis in law had invited me here to celebrate my birthday. They mentioned this to our waitress and I received a complimentary piece of cake with a candle. Very nice gesture. I think it's a little pricey but then again, that's just my opinion. Will definitely return to try something different. It was packed when we left with people outside on the patio.

The el Benito was fabulous too. The green sauce is probably the best I have ever had. The waitress was very friendly. When I couldn't decide between one of the Hardy dishes or the sweet pancakes, she recommended ordering the pancakes for the entire table and that worked out great cause there was plenty.

The dim lighting works perfectly with the décor, and the metal entrance door gives the place a cool, slightly old-school vibe. There's plenty of parking, plus street parking, so no need to circle the block 15 times questioning your life choices. Now, the important part: the food. They have a really good variety of lunch specials at very reasonable prices. The food overall is tasty, but the pizza is definitely the star of the show. Artisan-style, full of flavor, and with a great balance between portion size and quality. The drinks are good too, with plenty of options. The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms--which, yes, absolutely matters! And whatever you do, save room for dessert. Seriously. It's a great way to finish the meal... even if five minutes earlier you swore you were completely full. Definitely a nice find, and a place I'd visit again.

The Bruschetta is really light with amazing flavor, small tomatoes drizzled with balsamic, the bread is soft but sturdy enough to hold the tomato. Wings! We opted for the lemon pepper wings; perfectly crispy delicious flavor. The main course we shared the Margherita pizza! OMG, the crust is so light & buttery with fresh mozzarella, not too much sauce. Andrea's service is great, the decor & restaurant is cozy with a warm feeling. If it wasn't for the 13 school staff wanting to split each check & arguing who got what, we could've paid. I felt badly for Andrea.

We came in around 10:30 AM and got our drinks pretty quick even though the cafe was busy. There are plenty of tables so it was perfect for us to stay and do some work. I ordered the horchata latte without whipped cream and I really liked it! The coffee flavor was strong and you could taste a hit of cinnamon. My friend for the matchata (horchata matcha) with vanilla cold foam and she enjoyed her drink as well. Their drinks are definitely on the sweeter side but are also highly customizable! We ordered 2 drinks, one each (medium iced cafe de olla -and hot medium horchata chai). My chai was on the sweeter side but had great flavor. They were both made relatively quickly. Interestingly, the cafe de olla comes pre sweetened. We were joined by another person and they tried to order food, but they were no longer serving meals. It would be great if that was advertised (e.g. food is served through 12pm, or whenever that might be).

Haymaker was good. Good food, good atmosphere, good service. Just good, good, good. Not bad at all,…read morebut not quite a 5-star experience for us. The Donut Holes were fun, especially with the glaze for dipping. The coffee was okay. The kids' white mac and cheese needed more cheese, which feels like a pretty important detail when "cheese" is half the name. Our server was delightful and very helpful, which definitely helped the overall experience. I ordered the Florentine Benedict, and while it was good, it was not something I would be raving about afterward. Overall, Haymaker was a solid breakfast/brunch stop. I would go back, but it did not hit the same memorable level as some of the other places from our staycation.

Lots of TVs with lots of sports on. Server was friendly and fairly knowledgeable about gluten-friendly options. Hubby and I shared a California omelette and hashbrowns well done since they were gluten friendly. We did make a substitution of turkey sausage for bacon and they were happy to accommodate. They didn't have rye bread as a choice so I had an English muffin. Food tasted good. Son had a breakfast sandwich on croissant with spinach and tomato. Food was adequate and served our purpose before we hit the road back home to California. Not sure if we'd come back - nothing particularly wrong with the restaurant - but because honestly, there are so many other restaurants to try in the Arizona area.
