The dipping sauce was also good flavor but kinda doubled down on salty. I wanted to eat it so much but had to stop. Ordered the chicken critters and ribs with smothered fries and Mac and cheese sides. My ribs were dry which I was sad to find. The smothered fries were the best part, great value. I like my Mac and cheese on the less saucy side so these worked for me technically but were a little bland. I feel kinda gaslit bc It was a slow hitter but I actually ended up eating all of them! We typically come here for take out. We come to the bar to order a drink while waiting for food. First time not sitting at the bar. Our sever was Alexis. We sat at the Willie Nelson table in the back corner. She was super nice and she checked on us often to see what we needed. She's the best service we've had at this location! Came here to celebrate something really special for my mom, so this dinner actually meant a lot to us. Everything started off fine, but then a fly landed on our dinner rolls and wouldn't leave. Not long after, we saw a cockroach crawling on the wall right next to our table (I have a video). We told our server, who was nice and said the manager (Trish) would come talk to us, but she never did. We waited, asked again, and still nothing. They gave us a small discount, but no one in management ever acknowledged what happened. Really disappointing experience, especially for a place like Texas Roadhouse. read more

What has happened to this location? I made a mistake and ordered the whole slab of the pork ribs. How can you have ribs with fall off the bone meat and the meat be so dry it was incredible. I was extremely disappointed. Very Disappointing Experience -- Will Not Return My family and I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this Outback location. From the moment we walked in, we felt unwelcome. The ladies at the front barely greeted us and had very poor attitudes. Once seated, our server, Caydence , seemed irritated that she had to help us at all. Her tone was cold and dismissive. When she brought the drinks, she handed one to my mother, and when my mom asked which drink it was, Caydence rudely responded, "The one you ordered." After I addressed her tone, things only went downhill from there. When our food arrived, nearly everything was wrong. My daughter's kids' meal was terrible -- the mini sliders were extremely stale and hard, to the point where you couldn't even break the bun. The meat was burnt and old. The chicken critters were overly cooked and tough, and the fries were soggy. To make matters worse, my salad had hair in it. We spoke to the manager, Maria, and explained the situation, showing her the kids' meal. We told her we were fine keeping the sides and just asked for the sliders to be replaced with two chicken critters, which she agreed to. Later, she returned with chicken critters and fries -- which we specifically said we didn't need. After paying, I noticed something else that was wrong: we were charged for a regular meal instead of a kids' meal, even though the waitress had told us several items were taken off because of the mistakes. When I brought this to Maria's attention, she had an attitude and brushed it off by saying, "It's only a two-dollar difference." That's not the point -- if a meal is messed up, you shouldn't be charging for more than what was ordered in the first place. Overall, the service was rude, the food quality was poor, and the atmosphere felt dirty and rushed -- cafeteria-style cups, messy service, and no sense of care for customers. We had a freebie appetizer due to being a rewards member, so we used it for the fried onion one...yum! I got a smothered chicken meal with a salad and broccoli as sides. My husband got a pork chop meal. The meats were tender and delicious. The salads had quite a few ingredients, but were still a bit blah. The service was quick and efficient and tables were cleaned quickly. It is a busy place, but the workers are efficient and food came out quickly. The bathrooms were fairly small and not the cleanest. I was in AZ visiting a friend and this was one of the places I wanted to go & I am SO glad I did! Let me start with my love the country style decor Shinji was our server and he delivered the best customer service I've ever had in my life! He was so knowledgeable on the menu and the history of this Texas Roadhouse. This kind of service followed by bottomless fresh bread ... The wait time here is a toss up - there's either a line out the door with multiple massive groups waiting 30+ minutes to be seated, or you experience what happened to my group at 5pm on a Saturday, a 7 minute wait! Delivery of our main course was quite slow. Food was standard and similar to other locations I've tried. Had the fried pickles for an appetizer, then a half slab of ribs and loaded mashed potatoes. The ribs were fall off the bone good and very meaty. Mashed potatoes were standard with cheese and bacon crumbles. Very heavy. We send the mashed potatoes back and they replaced it, no apologies, the manager never came over to apologize or address the issue. Food was good for the most part but they're not equipped for a party more than 4, 6 and up it's going to be not a great experience. Took a friend here for his birthday dinner (his choice) and we had a really good time! There was a short wait, but luckily, it didn't take too long before we were seated. We were escorted to our table, along with those delicious rolls and the cinnamon butter. The rolls are made fresh continuously and the cinnamon butter melts perfectly into them...I could basically make a meal of just that...LOL! We decided to start with an appetizer of Potato Skins, which come with lots of melted cheese, bacon pieces and sour cream. They were hot and gooey, exactly what you'd want in a potato skin. Our friend ordered the Porterhouse with sides of seasoned rice, buttered corn and sauteed mushrooms. The steak looked so good and it's so big, he was able to take a small piece home for his lunch tomorrow. Hubby got the California Chicken, which was a grilled chicken with a avocado and tomato salsa, along with his sides of veggies and baked potato. He said it was really good and it looked tasty, as well. I went with the "Road Kill"...EEK!...which is a chopped steak with sauteed mushrooms, grilled onions and jack cheese on top. I got it minus the cheese, with sides of a sweet potato and buttered corn. Chopped steak is one of my favorite comfort foods, so I was incredibly happy at how delicious it was. The mushrooms were also good, but the onions were a little too raw for me, was expecting them to be more grilled, so I just took them off...no biggie. The restaurant was packed, which probably was the main reason it seemed so warm inside, but that didn't really deter us from enjoying ourselves. I love Texas Roadhouse, in general. Rarely do I get motivated enough to leave negative reviews. This is one of those times... A buddy and I arrived at about 5pm and sat at the bar. We were ignored a lot. Had to get our server's attention several times. And even when we did, she did not get the beer I asked for (must have forgotten). I had to ask 3 times for a second beer. We waited 20 minutes for our checks. It's busy due to local grade school graduations, but so was the Goodyear location on Monday. As expected, the rolls were warm and sweet (they made waiting for our entrees easy!) The mango margarita was well-balanced: sweet, salty, and not too strong. And the 8oz sirloin was the perfect portion size! However, the sides weren't great (both my fries and corn were too salty).
