I loved going to Denny's and never had an issue with them. Expect for today. I understand that today is a holiday and all but to take 2 hours to server your food and completely forget about you is unacceptable. The waiters never checked on us or offered to fill our drinks. I just got charged $17 for a side salad (Caesar), veggie burger pattie with cheese, no fries, no bun, JUST CHEESE. A side of garlic bread and a strawberry lemonade. I could have and will go next time to old Chicago for cheaper! UFB! read more

Dennys coffee is cold the food is cold when we get it and I do not like the meals their it is nasty and do not recommend this.

Very dissapointed. I went in on a Saturday morning with my 5 year old to have breakfast. I gave my name, which isn't that common, to the hostess and took a seat. I heard my name called, and saw a waitress standing there with menus in the crowded waiting area. We got up to go to her, and the hostess, Lupe, gestured towards the opposite side indicating we needed to head towards the table. So she sat us at a table that had 4 place settings and I figured it was a mistake. We started looking at the menu, and then a waitress, Jane rushed over with Lupe and asked if we had been seated at this table. I was pretty confused because they seemed upset, and I said yes. Lupe started saying that the table was meant for someone else, and Jane was going on about the wait list. I tried explaining that I heard my name called in the chaos at the front, and Lupe had seated us, but they acted like I had cheated the list somehow. It was pretty offensive because I would never cut in line on purpose. They told me to just stay seated, then they sat another party behind me, where Jane kept going on and on apologizing to the people as if I had taken thier spot. It was pretty obnoxious. Then she proceed to ignore my son and I for a long time, not getting us drinks, attending to the people behind us, to the point where I felt really uncomfortable and upset and started to get up and leave the establishment. Finally she came over to ask if we wanted something to drink, but she had an attitude. I will never ever go back to this place. Clearly they do not have a good seating system, and when they make a mistake, they would rather blame the customer, than just fix it. The whole experience was awful. read more

Very dirty. Blinds covered in dust. Menu sticky. Just look around. We went for breakfast, ordered coffee before seeing all the filth and while we waited we watched our waitress serve three tables and refill all their drinks. Worst experience ever. From the time we walked in to the time we left it was a vacuum going food wasn't brought out hot my coffee was it refilled even when I asked until we asked for the fourth time and our waiter forgot most of the items. Food was average. read more

Had lunch with my daughter there today. First we stood in the doorway for about 10 minutes while a line behind us was forming waiting to be seated. This was a Friday morning at 11:45. I would not even have minded waiting but it was the fact that the woman behind the counter (who I believe was a manager) did not even acknowledge us. I have been in the business for over twenty years and know to always acknowledge someone by at least letting them know you will be with then as soon as possible. Not only did she not acknowledge us, after cashing a guest out she turned around and disappeared into the kitchen. By the time she returned there were two more guests waiting to pay. She proceeded to cash them out as the line was starting to go out the door. By the way I was standing there on crutches. I finally asked her if I could seat myself. She was rude and very unfriendly. The experience did not get any better. I ordered a veggie burger that was the worse piece of mush I've ever tasted. I am a vegetarian and have been enjoying veggie burgers for years. It was so bad that when I got home I had to get online to see what brand they used. It is Amy's organics and I will never buy this brand after tasting it. I was only able to choke down half of the burger even though I was starving. The only good thing I have to say is that our server was pleasant and attentive. We waited over an hour for our food 11/9/13. My husbands burger had been at the heating station for 1/2 hour. My daughters bacon cheeseburger was very messy looking with only four French fries. My prime rib was half the size of the one I ordered the time before. They forgot the prime rib and bacon on my salad. the waitress never came back with refills. When we told the waitress we needed to speak to the manger she rolled her eyes at us. We spoke with the manager who said they were short staffed. I asked her why did not some one come to our table in over an hour, she did not give me an answer. We walked out while the manager waved at us as if she were swatting a fly. First of all, it was so cold in the area we sat that it was distracting. Worse than that...it's the dirtiest restaurant I've ever seen. The floors in the dinning areas were full of trash and food scraps. Window sills looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. The bathroom was so nasty. The automatic flushers on the toilets didn't work and the hand soap in the dispensers had the worst "fragrance" ever! I was so grossed out by the time my food came that I couldn't even eat. Okay, I'm going to state that this is my first review of any restaurant and I made it a point to write this one because I have had a bad experience several times here. The first few times I went to this location the food wasn't good (tasted old or microwaved), the service was not the best but I have had one or two good ones, as well as some less than pleasent patrons. I didn't think too much of it the first few times but the second to last time I went to the restaurant from the moment we walked in the door a older man made an extremely rude and loud comment about my daughter. Five minutes later a waitress walked by and asked us and two other groups if we needed to be seated and when we replied "yes" she made a disghusted sigh and said "hold on!"... From that point we left. I vowed I would never go there again until today (8 months later) I decided to give it a try and see if anything changed. My boyfriend got the table before me and my daughter got there. He asked for three waters and a kids menu while he was waiting. Not only did it take 10 minutes to get water but the waitress only brought one and didn't bring the kids menu. I asked for it once she finally came back around and another 5 minutes to wait for my water. Once she left she didn't return for 15-20 minutes to take our order. Right after we ask for anything she automatically would run off and we had to yell just to ask for a booster. Besides all that the place was filthy, the services was crap, the food was not worth it at all, and I took 30 minutes after ordering. After she brought the check we didn't see her again. We had to hunt down someone just to get a to go box. Needless to say I did not tip her. I have had amazing service and food at other Denny's locations but this one is absolutely horrible I will make sure to go out of my way If I want Denny's again. read more
